Master mine !

Beggar that I am

Bereft of Spiritual Bounty,

Release

This slave to socratic page,

Bound

To Faust --Like Curiousity.

A Slave

To the Ever--questing Intellect

Failing to DecideTo shuffle the printed pages

Or

Thy Mystical Naam Recite.

Lost

In the Maze

Of this worldly lore

That reduces

Man to a Sod

I am

Like the rain--bird

Thirsty and pining for

A Heavenly drop,

And humbly pray

For

Thy Succor and prop.

Magnificicent Lord--

Fount of bliss and light

Dispel my darkness

Save this sense--laved spirit

From Internal strife.

In all humility

In all meekness and faith

I prostrate

At thy Golden Gate

To rub by head

At thy Holy treshold

And to Pray

With all my heart

With all my mind

With all my being

For alms

Of thy ambrosial Naam.

Immersed

In the ocean of

Thy holy name

I shall be re--born

To sing the paens of praise,

Perhaps

To hear the melody unheard,

To recieve Thy grace.

The darkness of Ignorance

Wrapped in Maya's fold,

Wipe away

With the warmth of Thy efflugence

Mists of this mind

Baffled and mute,

Inspire it with strength,

Thou--

The dispenser of grace--

Make Thy servant fit

To sing Thy praise.
