Dastar Help Please

i am currently in the progress of preparation for amrit di daat, with guru jis blessing and have considered wearing a dastar.

however similar to many, there is the fear from my parents with regards to what the future may hold for me in terms of job prospects and fitting into society.

i just wanted to know if there are any singhnia here or any you may know of who are high flyers in their jobs in the uk and are wearing a dastar. if so, how did u feel, were u judged diffferently or treated differently? how did u overcome these challenges?

i want to show my parents and i guess also prove to myself that by wearing a dastar i will not limit my chances of progression in a medical based career.

please help if possible.

I am a Singh not a singhni but I am a medical student and have never had any problem in persuing my career. I received offers from various top ranking universities to study after interviews. In hospitals I have not had to compromise 5K or any other rehat. I know other kesadharis who do the same. So you can tell your parents many others that sikhi will not be a hinderance especially in the medical profession
