Looks like the Badal family has won the big battle in Bathinda. They have been defeated overall in Panjab.

Congress has won the India General Election, and will lead the UPA to form the next Indian government, possibly a majority. Manmohan Singh is set to become the first Prime Minister after Nehru to be returned to power after completing a full term in office.
