Please complain to the BBC regarding the below article http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complaints_stage1.shtml Here is what i sent to them, 'I would like to complain about the grossly inaccurate coverage of the incident in Vienna and subsequent riots in Punjab. Your article states that a 'Sikh Guru' was killed. However in Sikhism, the present Guru is our Holy scriptures, known as Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Secondly you have mentioned that the violence was between higher and lower caste Sikhs. But Sikhism does not advocate the caste system. The group concerned in the incident, belong to the Ravidassi sect who have split from mainstream Sikhism. The person killed was revere…

Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh. The Glory of Guru Gobind Singh Jee is too great to write about by any one person. So before I begin I would like to ask for your forgiveness and my Guru’s forgiveness for any mistakes I may make while writing on this topic. We all say we keep faith in Guru Jee but do we really keep faith in Him? Those 40 Gursikhs who saw a million soldiers surrounding them and still didn’t give up. That’s called keeping faith in Guru Jee. We need to think about what we would have done if we were in that situation. Would we fight like those Gursikhs or would we get scared and try to run away? …

You ever thought that the reason there are cults and different sect?? Its probably because some people in Gurwarda's still believe in the Caste System. Only Hindu's and Animal's believe in the Caste System. But when someone does not feel welcome because "Bibiya dont let them do seva in the kitchens, and comment and say nasty things or Commitee heads, say rude things to a 28 yr old woman "You cant become a member your not a Jatt" and the other members just sit there!! I've seen this in GNP Harnell Lane Coventry Gurdwara for myself just in the last year !!! What do you expect?? I think we should sort out this issue and attack these people before we attack others!! On…

URGENT Call BBC about major inaccurate reporting of Vienna story that has serious implications for Sikhs World wdie. 1.) No living Sikh Guru (as per BBC Sikhism Website) so no ‘Sikh Guru’ has been killed 2) This is not an inter caste incident. It’s an issue stemming from differences within Ravidasi Community. 3) Ravidasi is a separate religion, who follow ‘Sri Guru Ravidas,’ hence temple name is Sri Guru Ravidas Sabha’, NOT Gurdwara! 4) The Ravidas Saint killed is ‘Sant Rama Nand.’ If he was Sikh he would have name ‘Singh’. 5)No rioters in news footage are turbaned. Confirming it is not an inter-Sikh issue. Apology & Correction needed on TV and Internet ASAP…

I wanted to share something about the recent events that have taken place against sri guru granth sahib ji, against sikhs, against sikhi...we obviously arent new to this.. What has been evolving in the last two years really upsets people , and no not just certain people, im talking about sikhs, it effects any sikh who truly does feel love for their religion, it is very disappointing. However, we know that in 84 the events that took place also gave rise to a newborn love for sikhi in many westerners who had lost touch with their roots and their religion .. now we see the same happening in India, where people have started cutting their beards this and that, all that does…

FROM PANTHIC.ORG According to Asociated Press (AP) reports, a witnesses said the Vienna temple attended by lower-caste (Ravidasis) was attacked Sunday by …(individuals)… who accused one or both of the preachers of being disrespectful of the religion’s Holy (Guru Granth Sahib Ji). PW has received reports that one of the Ravidasi preachers had stated that the Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji needed to be removed from the Temple, as it was not a (Ravidasi) Granth, however this could not be independently corroborated. Recently, a section of the Ravidasi community has started to adopt the so-called ‘Shri Guru Sikhya Sahib’ granth instead of the traditional parkash of Guru Granth …

The recent caste wars in Punjab seem unwanted events. If our brothers in lower society are facing isolation, as I could make out of the TV news videos. . Looks loads of people are roaming around without jobs in Punjab cities. One way forward can be to make Punjab govt change rules to --- force industry to give minimum 80% jobs to locals instead of people from UP/Bihar., just like state Govt in Maharashtra have done --Force farmers to employ only labours from Punjab and NOT from UP/Bihar,. Even if we have to give high rate per hour. Now come the question of religious representation. A reservation of seats in SGPC election should be their. Now people will argue caste…
