I wanted to share something about the recent events that have taken place against sri guru granth sahib ji, against sikhs, against sikhi...we obviously arent new to this..

What has been evolving in the last two years really upsets people , and no not just certain people, im talking about sikhs, it effects any sikh who truly does feel love for their religion, it is very disappointing.

However, we know that in 84 the events that took place also gave rise to a newborn love for sikhi in many westerners who had lost touch with their roots and their religion ..

now we see the same happening in India, where people have started cutting their beards this and that, all that doesnt have to be repeated, we are all well aware..

We need to take a look at ourselves in the state that the world is in right now and see what is happening, what are we doing? I dont mean everyone start a jatha and do your thing..no, i merely mean, look inside of you and look at what you are doing to make a difference as an individual

There are so many enemies that the khalsa panth has, and innocently so...people are just beckoned to destroy sikhi, but dont forget: they have been trying, they are trying and they will try but will NEVER SUCCEED, this is a root that can never be pulled out..

These happenings should AWAKEN us and make us cry , cry at what we have been doing and what guru gobind singh jis sikhi is going through, doesnt matter if you are mona or moni or kesdhari or any of that bs , im sorry because it is bs, we are creating divides, IF YOU LOVE SIKHI, you have a responsibility to act as guru gobind singh jis son or daughter and stand up to these attrocities, how?

We need to change ourselves and that change starts at home, who are we? why do we cut our hair, why do we do things that please the people who are hell bent on destroying sikhi? why dont we adorn the roop that has been blessed upon us as a true spiritual warrior? that doenst mean go to the extreme and take things too far. no. you can live your life the way you want it as a sikh, a good sikh can wear jeans and a t shirt a good sikh can also waer a bana, but what are we doing to practice our sikh religion, are we doing our nitnem? are we doing seva at the gurdwara, are we staying connected to the principles taught to us by our gurus?

To challenge what these enemies are doing to us, you have to fight back , and how? fight back with falling in love with your religion, if you dont want to keep your hair yet, go to the gurdwara, do seva, go more than just once a week, make time, start doing your nitnem, one day that love will come to you and you will cry and want to keep your kes and you will change, take your time and do it completely, noone changes over night, if you do then you are truly blessed, but dont turn back

So why dont we unite and try to change ourselves, if we were as strong and as united as the Khalsa panth in Guru gobind singh jis times then why would so many people look at us as an easy target and try to break us up like this..

dont get me wrong, sikhs are a strong faith and they will forever remain strong, no matter if there are 100 000 000 of them or 50 of them, they are the same strength and that is instilled in us by God.

But we should learn a lesson from all of this and take a look within ourselves and who we are now and who we really should be..and that includes me as well
