Sikh cults?

I've recently come across these "ravidas and nanaksari' people and am a little confused about what religion they are. So I googled some of their places of worship and saw pictures of Sikh Gurus in their hall and some have a Nishan Sahib and some even use the word Gudwara outside the building. My suspicions were raised when I watched a video on youtube about them and they don't say Satnaam Waheguru like us they say something else > https://youtu.be/Oihq5qObDtc?t=387 in this video you can also hear their own version Bole Sole Ne Haal. I also found a link to this as well where it looks like some real Sikhs took care of business https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vi…

Sikh detective or SikhHelpline 1 2

There are indications (proof) of a Sikh man in the UK who is involved in emotional, sexual grooming with women from India. There is sexual violence and abuse involved. I would like to make a report of this to a detective, or the Sikh Helpline to uncover this. Is Karma Nirvana able to help? Like other incidences of grooming, most of it is online and on the phone (whatsapp). This is not revenge or anything of the like, like the guy who was grooming kids (it was up on facebook, of a Sikh guy talking to teenage girls), this is grooming of another kind.

Sikh Dharam And Abraham
by Guest Gursikhism- 1 reply

I have noticed Sikhs in the west are being bullied into accepting Abraham and the 10 commandments etc Some naive Sikhs follow this Abraham who believed in circumcision and treating women nothing more than housewives. The Abrahamic faiths (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Baha'i) now count for 80% of all religion following people - and the second in the list is fastest growing. But our Sikh history tells us that not only we stopped the foreign Arabic speaking people from taking over Hind but also we changed the face of Brahmanical Hinduism forever. What we need is Sikhs to counter this terrorist threat by: i) Shastardhari (using weapons and battle techniques to uphold Dh…

Does anybody know anything about Sikh eschatology ? because Christian and Islam eschatology has a high profile but there is not much on the Sikh perspective. Even when you search on the internet there are not much at all ? is it being ignored ? undermined ? quite worrying ?

I’ve noticed in the USA on the census ethnicity is Chinese, Indian etc. Same for Canada. But in England they’re making it so there’s British Indian and British Sikh. In your opinion are Sikhs really genetically different from the rest of Indians (esp Hindu Punjabi’s) and what about non Punjabi Sikhs? What’s your view in this issue

There was a discussion here a few days ago...I think it was in the wedding photo thread...about Sikh / Punjabi fashion. I was never terribly into fashion myself...to the great disspointment of my dad who to this day still has his bon marley stylee Gabbicci knit-ganzee cardigan hanging in his wardrobe. But the internet, Joobie tube, instabook, face chat, snap crack and popple are absolutely jam-packed these days with Singhs and Kaurs displaying their 'style'. We're overloaded with dastar wearing girls posing in shots showing how stylish and fashionable they look and it seems a Singh can't be a proper singh and get his picture on the world-wide web thingy these days unless …

How do you explain to a non-sikh , what happened in 1984, who just doesn't seem to understand?

I'm a 20 year old Sikh girl. My family are religious and quite strict. I met a Muslim guy, 22, and began a relationship with him two years ago. At first everyone around me told me this was a bad idea. I didn't listen like the <banned word filter activated> that I am and just thought it wouldn't ever turn into anything serious. Obviously time passed and we both fell for one another, I have so much love for him and he makes me so happy. I've been through so much with him and he's always treated me with love and respect. There's nothing about him I could fault. He isn't very religious, open minded about other religions and believes asking someone to convert is wrong be…
