I have noticed more and more sikhs in punjab are supporting punjab referendum 2020, which i think is great. The 27th hukam of Guru Gobind singh ji Maharaj is : Sutantar vicharna. Raaj Kaaj dian kamaan tae doosrae mutaa dia purshaan noo huk nahee daenaa — Maintain independent rule. In the affairs of governing, do not give the power of religious authority to those of other faiths. I know BJP/RSS are trying to change sikhi. They are attacking sikh values and most don't even know it. Sikhs can not continue living under hindu rule. India is not Secular. My question is do you support Referendum 2020? Why or why not?

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Sangat Jiyo I feel kind of bad but also relieved at the same time about this issue. Basically what happened is today I had a lot of time to do paath. I usually japjee sahib in the morning which I did and rehras sahib, sukhmani sahib, jap sahib, lakh kushian patshahian as well as some nitnem. I don't know when exactly rehras sahib is to be completed but what I've heard is that rehras sahib is supposed to be completed in the evening time. I read somewhere on the internet that evening time is 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. so that's what I consider evening. Anyways I had to go shopping today after watching t.v. for a couple hours and while…

VJKK VJKF In a katha by Basics of Sikhi at the end there is a shabad: Gursikh Meeth Chalo Gur Chali but I need it separate so that I can convert it to mp3 and save it on my laptop. Is there any way of separating that 10-15 minute shabad from an hour of katha? Start listening from 54:10. I would appreciate it if a gurmukh pyara could possibly do it and paste the link or find the version (because I couldn't find it on YouTube). Thanks. VJKK VJKF

Hi, I had a question about our Gurus and their marriage; we learned in class that Sikhs are against the cast system yet they married into their own cast.....what is the reasoning behind this? i know my gurus, i know they're not hypocrites and akaal purkh him self, but this question guru ji's marriage really got me confused. thanks!

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Daas was recently wondering how he could inspire people to follow Sikhi more, especially with the way the world is going right now. Daas honestly believes that there is something he does wrong while trying to explain the importance of Sikhi just to the the basic people Daas knows. I like to know complete rehat of dng sehaj paath...Also I like to know one thing that I don't get a fix time for paath...So I m dng it frm mbile...Whenever even if I get 5 min. I start dng sehaj paath from mbile...Basically opening sanchiya takes time and I basically do laziness due to tiring work....So I do paath from mbile while walking...Travelling in car etc...Hope I m not dng beadbi....Plz help and guide

Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh. I am 17 year Amritdhari boy. I have Social Anxiety Disorder and i also have shyness since as long as i coukd remember . This disorder disables in almost every walk of my life. 😭 I am just anxious all the time whether while speaking, socializing or even just standing in people. It is so hard for me to practice Sikhi like this. I cant even attend Gurudwara Sahib as i feel so much anxiety meeting people there. I prefer to remain quiet, and alone . fateh to everyone. I am an amritdhari guy married to somebody who suffers from Trichotillomania. when we first got married I wasn't aware of this issue and wasn't told. I only found out after a few months. Sikhi and rehat is very dear to me and my wife, and this has had an incredible impact on not only on our jeevan but on our relationship too. we have been married five years now and I just cannot get her to stop pulling. Not enough going on in gurdwaras

Gurdwaras in bradford only have divans on a Sunday, the rest of the week there is no divans. Is this what sikhi is ? apart from one which hold weekly Akhand path. (Before corona) no asa di // kirtan, no simran, and in fact doors a firmly locked at amritvela. is there any wonder why our youth and some of our elders are sat in the pubs 7 days a week. Where else can they go to spend their time? most of the gurdwaras are just competing with other gurdwaras to bank as much money as possible and build big buildings. what use is money in the bank? back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
