waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh just wondering, how much is little? i could live off less than a thousand calories a day, im not really a food person. but that would mean that im starving and would slow my metabolism down a lot possibly leading to weight gain. the guideline for women is 2000 calories per day and 2500 for men. so how much should we be eating? how much is little? i know this question is a bit stupid, but please try to take me seriously (if possible). i hope someone can help, thankyou! waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!!

lol ok 2 queries yeast is a living organism so should not be consumed by non meat eaters? but then aren't plants living organisms? just a statement someone made and nazar or najar? what is it? is it "real"? mm i saw ma mom doing osme mircha thing on my brothers forehead :D and if the mirch dont smell when its burning its nazar? mm is it just a "punjabi" thing?

tht post about "animal farm" should NOT have been allowed to be posted if you havent been given the jugti of how to do swaas swaas simran what is the point of entering an amrit vela where that is what they are doing? if you want to learn you will have to ask the panj pyare. simple as. if you havent been given the jugti then you shouldnt enter such amrit vele as you should only learn off the panj pyare, not try to learn off other gursikhs. to the person who posted that, i pity you, doing ninda of guriskhs who make the udam to wake up every day at amrit vela and jap naam, is an extremely dangerous game.

Gurufateh! Just to start off i'll tell you straight,im a 17 year old girl - NOT Amritdhari hopefuly in future - Je Rab Kirpa Kareh - but recently i went to the Gurdwara on New Years day (you know for 2006). Since then ive been doing Paat - i did Paat before but i dont know what it is - its like i dont know i got this feeling inside of me - i dont know how to explain it - its sort of like im doing Paat, and im TRYING to think about Waheguru all the time - its like i dont really care about anything else in the world (i.e. friends, music (hip hop etc)). There is this girl who comes to sangat with me... HEr hair is cut. LIke i mean its short. Right above her sholders. She wore a patka under her chunni one day i guess to hid her hair being cut.Her eyesbrows are mad skinny. it does NOT look right.. Shes like a partygirl. I dont understand why she jus recently started wearing this. I know its for the attention. She will put it on for keeertan and take it right of when it finishes. vjkk vjkf! i do not think im going to go to India anytime soon...I realy want the i think its called mala braclet thing..you know the braclet withthe beads..as i heard it helps concentration..but i do not know where to buy it from..I live in the States. THe deep south i should say. I also need a kirpan.planning on taking amrit this year... Im sure I can get one from my panj pyara or from a freind. But a website would be helpful. THose of you who have the mala braclets..where did you get yours from.and where can i get mines from..thank you! :D

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
