I know this topic isn't 100% gurmat but what is the process of inviting a kirtani/raagi to perform kirtan at the functions you are taking seva in e.g langar seva, house program, akhand paath? Living in the UK, there are many experience and well known kirtanis in this country such as Bhai jasbir singh khalsa, bhai jatinder singh, bhai bahadur singh rocket, veer manpreet singh etc. What is the process of inviting them? how do you contact them? i know there are sakhia of gursikhs who guru sahib gave hukam for whatever reason to go away from sangat, eg. i think there was a sakhi where bhai gurdas ji was sent somewhere far, and also the sakhi behind shabad hazare. Can you please post sakhia like that of gursikhs who had vichora from sangat and guru sahib. Also sakhia of gursikhs that begged guru sahib to come to them, eg. sakhi of blind gursikh and sakhi of the bibi ji who made food for guru hargobind sahib ji. I'll post the ones i can find as replies, other please post any that you know. Even modern day sakhis of gursikhs having to live gursikhi on their own. Thanks.

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh Sangat ji last year daas met a Gursikh who's in full bana and also has Maharajs saroop at his house. We became good friends. He's older in age. Im relatively young. At first glance he seemed he was really disciplined in rehit. He kept and still keeps extreme sucham. But over time a lot of things have worn away. It seems as if there was a blaze that is slowly turning into smoke. Now I am beginning to get a sense that my sis in law doesnt know her own identity. She observed and did the fast of Hindus, and now she sent me a text for happy dushera, I sent her a text back with Happy Gurpurub of Guru Ram Das ji! She is loosing her marbles, and at one point at my friends house I said are you eating she goes no and I said why, she goes shes fasting and cant eat onion and garlic and some other stuff and cant touch what we have eat, and in front of my friends she embarassed me as she is a Sikh. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
