  1. Other Gurdwaras not related to the Dixie managment refused to sponsor Dhanda mainly because he is a controversial speaker. So then why did Dixie call him and hansra promote him? simple answer, to see thamasha unfold in our gurdwaras. That is there objective (paid from the Indian Consulate+rss etc.), Mayfield fight promoted in a negative light in mainstream media, Sikh lehar incident promoted horribly in mainstream media with articles ridiculing our beloved Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Now there attempt was to see if something else would happen, and that too at Dixie one of the largest gurdwaras in Toronto. Please don't get caught up in their dirty politics.

  2. To those that think Dixie Gurdwara or any Hansra related activity is good for the panth think again, These are the same people that have good connections with the Indian consulate in Canada, i don't want to name names. But people involved in Dixie, Sikh Lehar etc. ...are a front, they will support Khalistan as a front to lure people like us in and once we start supporting Khalistan these same individuals report us to the Indian Consulate. What then happens is that we either are being watched or being black listed. Dixie management is the biggest fraud in Toronto Sikh affairs. Media is controlled by Hansra etc. These same individuals have misallocated almost $150,000 from Guru Gobind Singh Children Foundation, these same individuals have sued their 'own' gurdwara and profited off it. So don't be fooled that these people are Khalistanis they are fakes trying to take advantage of the panth. Hansra and these pregnant belly look alikes have tried to kick out the most amazing Granthi Singh in all of Toronto from Dixie but he won't leave because sangat will not let that happen. Weekly Simran is the only reason there is any sangat at Dixie. and they try really hard to stop that too.

  5. In this world when the downfall in religion sets in, when vis-a-vis human values, aggression, force, bigotry, political injustice, social hatred, pride and madness amidst abundance of money enter society or the political atmosphere, then, the king becomes a butcher; nothing worth the name of religion remains in his rule. The Master, the king of kings, proclaims thus - The Age of Machines has become a cutter, And the kings have become butchers. Righteousness has taken wings and fled. In the pitch dark night of falsehood, It is not possible to see Where the moon of truth risen be. As oppression increases, the pitch darkness of ignorance obscures everything, man descends to the level of beasts; the power in the mind of man to know truth from falsehood, righteousness from unrighteousness, justice from injustice gets lost in the darkness of ignorance. The pain of this condition of the world reaches the Master of billions of universes. Then from His own Primal Being, he sends His very self in the universes upon universes, which assuming a human body is meant to destroy this ignorance and oppression. If the disease grows and spreads in the body of the society, an able doctor considers it necessary that those parts which have become infected, must be cut off. Amputations on account of cancer are common, as we know. Similarly when the light lighting up the world gets obscured, then, spiritual masters, teachers, incarnations of God (i.e. God inflesh and blood as Jesus is considered to be), prophets, great holy men, under the inspiration of God, in complete obedience to His will, adopt a number of methods to guide society and the powers that be. At some places they have to be brought back to their senses by using mental powers; at others, the lives of the manmukhs (those turned away from God and the Guru) enveloped in the incurable darkness have to be finished by the use of arms; at others, by giving a message of love and affection as a Guru, the darkness is ended from inside their minds. Thus as is the need so is the personality God continues to send in the world in the form of a Guru, or an incarnation or a prophet. The Tenth Guru (Guru Gobind Singh Ji) while telling us about his appearance in this world has said that God assigned him a special mission and ordered him to create a society based on the religion whose path is pure through and through, whose path is untouched by superstition and unaffected by the outer garbs, a path which is free from hatred, heart burning, enmity, hostility, lust, anger, attachment, ego, ill-will and calumny. Guru, the king of kings, enlightening us, says that in accordance with the will of the Timeless One, it was proclaimed that I, giving you the status of my son, send you for the fulfillment of a special mission. In India the pain of injustice and oppression is on the increase for upwards of seven to eight hundred years; cruel rulers who come to attack and conquer India are crushing underfoot men and women of India. Neither is Indian woman shown any respect nor does Indian man get a breathing space. Pulling down their places of worship, lacs of hearts are broken. All this is done in the name of religion. In the name of religion sin is termed as purity. Stuck up in this thick darkness, people have become lifeless, they have no courage left in them. They have gone so low in this atmosphere of fear that they have forgotten their sense of pride. Said God, the Primal Lord, that I am sending you in the world so that you may start the path of truth and remove the blind thinking mixed up with righteousness. Oppression has even ended the power to know what is wisdom and what is unwisdom. Adopting unwisdom, man is suffering. Guru, the king of kings, requests, “O God, I’ve looked very carefully, the whole world is burning. Heavy darkness has spread and this path which is called the spiritual path, can make progress if You, God Almighty place your strengthening and pure hand on my back. In his own words, it reads - “I declare thee my son. I have made you preach the Path (Pure). Wheresoever you start your religion, Check the people from going astray. Folding my hands I spoke with my head bowed ; The Panth (The path pure) will endure in the world, When you lend a helping hand.”

  6. Great post. Were it not for these beacons of light, the world would have fallen into ruin and utter chaos a long time ago. I give thanks to God for being merciful and sending these beacons of light into the world. May the True Khalsa, those who keep his light shining within and those pure of heart, be exalted.

  8. such khalistanis are mostly sell outs. They make a living out of this. They have least love for sikhi as they are not even aware of sikh fundamentals. It was in the media a few years ago that these people sued their own Gurudwara( dixie road) to get personal benefits. Why did sangat let this heretic be invited to Gurudwara sahib. I had read that they wanted to invite Ragi darshan also but could not due to pressure from sangat. It is apparent now that missioanries and kala afghanis main agenda is against Guru Gobind singh ji. tHIS dhundha while doing katha at bangla sahib last year ridiculed Guru sahib's shabad": Mittar pyare nu haal maridan da kehna" saying that it is a film song from bollywood. These khalsitanis by following them are disowning Guru Gobind singh ji with long term goal of marginalizing sikhi. They should be exposed by all sikhs who love their religion.

  9. ^^^ I pressed the "Like This" option on that, but a "Love This" option would have been more appropriate.

  10. Surrender to God is true intimacy. Surrender cannot be done just by talking. It must actually be done. As the river surrenders to the ocean and loses it's entity, it's taste and all it's limitations. Everything absolutely changes when she meets her lover, the ocean. So do it practically; not just in words. Don't just repeat God's name but completely lose yourself in it.

  11. Read Dasam Gur Darbar. Maharaj explains all the history of why so many religions. Messengers from God with shakti were sent to preach God's name but instead they fell into haumai and began preaching their own religions.

  14. According to Dasam Granth Sahib (in particular Bachittar Natak I think), before Akal Purakh sent Dusht Daman (Guru Gobind Singh Ji) to this world, this issue was discussed. From what I remember Akal Purakh told Dusht Daman Ji that every prophet he'd sent to propagate his name prior to Guru Nanak Sahib Ji had become obsessed with their own self-importance, and more concerned with their own worship than trying to connect the people to God. That's what I remember hearing ages ago so I apologise if some of the details are sketchy or incorrect. In that case would it be correct in assuming that God did not really intend for man to create - what we define as - a 'religion' but rather a nondescript path without prejudice or boundaries? I guess that would be pretty difficult considering that religions are defined by the areas in which they originate. I guess Christianity is possibly the one faith that has "broken out" from it's Middle Eastern origins. I mean you've got old ladies in English villages following a prophet who was reportedly more brown than he was white, and certainly nothing like the blonde haired and blue eyed version of Jesus that Europe (historically) co-opted. EDIT: Of course Islam has spread to places as far as Africa through conquests, etc., (as did Christianity due to missionary work). The spread of Islam to Europe and beyond is due to migration of course.

  15. Guru Sahib said: "O Mardana! The world is engrossed in material things. It is not aware of the g r e a t n e s s o f t h e N a m e . " M a r d a n a r e p l i e d : " O sovereign, but you advise and enlighten the people so much, and yet they do not understand and realize the importance of the Name?" Guru Sahib observed: " I t i s not in the i r de s t iny to obtain the Name . Without great good fortune, one does not find a Guru (Holy Preceptor) and without the Guru's grace, one does not attain the gift of God's Name. Bereft of good fortune are people wandering about. We, of course , do cal l out to them and exhort them. " Mardana said: "Sir, you advise and explain so much. You deliver discourses to them and sing Divine laudations. Even then why don't they understand and why do they remain as they were?" Guru Sahib replied: "O Mardana! They don't appreciate the glory o f t h e N a m e . T h e y a r e n o t i n c l i n e d t o w a r d s spirituality. Their interest is somewhere else. They do not try to understand either. They are busy in eating and drinking like animals and beasts." When Mardana persisted with his question, Guru Sahib said, "Now be quiet. You will understand when we show you practically." As they travelled farther, on the next day, Guru Sahib said, "Look Mardana! What i s that ? " He r e p l i e d : " S i r , t h e y a p p e a r t o b e r o o f t o p s o f b u i l d i n g s i n a c i t y . T h e y l o o k l i k e d o m e s constructed on the tops of the buildings." Guru Sahib said: "Again a city has come - Bishambarpur. It is called Patna; earlier it was known as Patliputra. Well, I shall sit here, while you should go to have food." Mardana started laughing and said, "Sir! Should I go to have my meals?" Guru Sahib asked: "What makes you laugh?" Mardana was Guru Sahib's c h i l d h o o d f r i e n d , wh o a lwa y s l i v e d wi t h h im. Besides, Guru Sahib never tried to overawe anybody. He was an embodiment of pure love. He was quite humorous. He never frightened anyone. He did not have an angry demeanor with raised eyebrows and wrinkles on the forehead. Guru Sahib's face was ever blooming like a flower. Whoever saw him – whether bird or animal - wished to come into his presence. Everyone felt attracted towards him. Big dacoits experienced for themselves how they were charmed as soon as they had a glimpse of him, for the like of him they had not seen before. So it was with such a Guru Nanak Sahib that Mardana could talk freely and frankly. Guru Sahib asked him: "Why did you laugh?" He replied: "Sir, you told me to go and have my food as if my friends and acquaintances were living in the city." At this Guru Sahib asked: "Then what do you do to procure food for yourself?" He replied: "True sovereign! First, I exercise great care. As a result of my living with you, I have learnt many things through experience because we have been wandering in alien places. I have learnt to read p e o p l e s ' f a c e s . F i r s t , I o b s e r v e w h e t h e r s o m e fortunate person has a cheerful countenance. Only a rare person do I come across who has a smiling face."
