nice one Dhillon saab... mmmm...well yeah fish in the sarover is to purify the water, and i think, its ok if they put some fancy fish in it as along as it does the purification. But yes i kinda agree with Khalistani ji that "people" are more concerned about these kinda issues rather then doing something concrete and more useful for the panth. But the best thing in the Kar Seva is....no matter if u r rich or poor, no matter if u are hindu or sikh, ...everybody is in bliss for doing Guru'z seva...

Thanx to all for clearing up the things. I have one more doubt, i hope i wont digress from topic. Who are "Neeldhaari'z"? There is one sect called by that, wear..blue (typical..not sky or navy blue).....they have their main gurudwara at NASHERA (near Gurdaspur)... I had one of my frnds, who was neeldhaari, he use to do the path. and i dont know if there is some connection b/w neeldhaari'z and namdhaari'z. Could anybody help in that Bhul Chuk Maaf

Even if we read on Page 485 in SGGS ji (Bani Bhagat Namdev ji) “Sab Gobind Hai Sab Gobind Hai Gobind Bin Nahin Koi” Now here also, Gobind implies the Akal Purakh, so i guess, you are abs. rite and point should be clear. Even I agree with you all, that we should go with it. But if u read the article, one interesting aspect arise and that is the statement by Dr.Dhillon "Water resources experts, including Dr G.S. Dhillon, had claimed that the proposed installation of filtration plant in Golden Temple premises could create complications rather than supplying ‘pure water’. " I dont know whether his point make sense or not, but i'm afraid if his resistance to proposed Kar Seva is politicaly motivated. Coz nowdays in Punjab, if that happens, i wont be surprised, coz i have seen these politics and politicians closely But again, lose will be ours...Khalsa Panth

I guess....scientific will itself implies....logical....or not? so point here is not to decide..whether sikhi is more scientific or more logical...or both... but point is...either it is scientific or logical or both....it has reason for everything. SGPC to do kar seva despite objection Varinder Walia Tribune News Service Amritsar, March 19 The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee has decided to go ahead with the proposed kar seva of the Golden Temple’s sarovar for supplying filtered water, despite opposition by Head Granthi, Darbar Sahib and experts. The kar seva would start from March 25 as per schedule by the Panj Piaras. After commissioning of the holy tank in 1577, the sarovar was cleared through kar seva four times and it would be the fifth kar seva. Earlier, giani Puran Singh, Head Granthi, Golden Temple had objected over the reports of USA-based experts who had found some pollution in the holy tank. Giani Puran Singh had claimed that since inception, water of the holy tank of Golden Temple had special properties which had cured many devotees who were suffering from chronic illness. Water resources experts, including Dr G.S. Dhillon, had claimed that the proposed installation of filtration plant in Golden Temple premises could create complications rather than supplying ‘pure water’. He alleged that the SGPC had not sought the suggestions from water resources experts who had done a lot of research on the causes of pollution in the sarovar in the past. Had the proposals of the Irrigation and Power Research Institute been carried out in toto, the situation (regarding pollution) faced today would not have arisen. He suggested that if the suggestions of experts for installing rapid filters at the head were not accepted, the filtered water would result in rapid growth of algae which would be difficult to handle. I dont underst and where our panth is heading to??? Even for Kar seva we have differences, i dont know who is right and who is wrong....but we are always in limelight for our differences. As fas as i know, our Sikhism is the most scientific religion in this world which has a valid reason for each thing. And here i dont know, if we say...only guru sahib knows what he means....well guru sahib wrote nothing for himself, but for us to understand... Even i dont know the reason why Guru Gobind Singh ji wrote like that, but there must be a reason behind that. Bhul Chuk Maaf
