  1. Do you honestly think that Bhagat/udham singh sacrificed their lives for this "freedom". Im quite sure their vision of freedom was not current day india, indias independence is a disgrace to their shaheedi.
  2. The idea of khalistan is basically "raj karega khalsa", the problem is people forget what this means. Khalsa means pure, therefore until we are all pure we will not get khalistan!!!
  3. Please stop using the term "taliban" its degrading in several ways, as for your comments on khalistan, are you tottally against khalistan or just these pendhu protesters??
  4. should non sikhs be allowed from entering?? of course not!!! People seem to forget the times in which muslim sufi singers were the ones doing kirtan at harmandir sahib, is it true that the sgpc wont allow non sikhs to do kirtan at harmandir sahib???
  5. Chop the privates off, thats what I wud do and then shoot them point blank! wow dude, sounds like some kind of sharia law punishment from arabia. i agree they should be punished, but theres a line not to cross man.
  6. im all for the idealogy of khalistan but just think that due to all it's bad press it will never happen. If a new, different, fresh idea was posed, all the terrorist allegations would disappear -- ie a country named [suitable name} which accomadates all religions and satisfies the sikhs fully (by means of fulfilling anandpur sahib resolution) and keeps the whole of the punjab in the condition the guru wanted it to be in. This new country would be against the unjust killings by hindus to sikhs and other minorities in the last 20 years and will be governed mainly by gursikhs. ^ the above is basically khalistan without the bad press. To clarify my previous post, it basically says that during the 80's there was some terrorist activities by dumb angry people with no political knowledge, these people gave the government a chance to create the terrorist label associated with khalistan.
  7. not evry sikh is good either...but that does not mean that the whole sikh panth is bad!!! i dont get your point, it has no correlation to republic of khalsitans post.
  8. BTW is there such thing as rest in peace [r.i.p] for the dead in sikhee? why not, if he has reached sachkhand (its a possibility) then whats wrong with people saying rest in peace and giving their cndolences. Or is that beadbi and manmukh lol.
  9. wjkk wjkf sangat jio, i find this topic hard to bring to light but i believe it must be done. I have several points about "Khalistan" which i feel i must bring to attention. I feel that khalistan will never exist as it has such a negative image to the whole of the world and is openly portrayed as a terrorist state by most, even so called "sikhs" view that particular political movement as terrorism. It does not help that our websites for khalistan show apne maraudering aroud with ak-47's when the actual fact is that there probably were a contingent of "singhs"with no polictical motive but to kill people. Im trying to say that not all people from that period were proper shaheeds and some people just jumped on the bandwagon. Basically i urge my fellow youths not to competely idolise pictures of every singh carrying a ak-47, not everyone was a hero. My second point brings across an idea, Khalistan has been labelled by most people a taboo/terrorist subject. Perhaps the idealogy of a seperate country with a different name that allows rights for sikhs as well as hindus and muslims which is situated in punjab, this country would oppose the wrong doings against sikhs and be free from any "terrorist" labeling. Then who could argue with that country??
  10. we bring these issues on ourselves, i have seen many "sikhs" using their kara as botttle openers.
  11. people have tried to take out those tyrants ( kp gill, sajjan gen.brar. etc). But you have to understand that they are very well protected, it isnt a easy task at all.
  12. R.I.P.... very shocking news. But this story of his death sounds very dubious. Someone on star news said he drowned in the deep end of a pool. Where was the lifeguard? Why did no one jump in to help?? hmmm... suspicious I wouldnt go as far as ram rahims gang but militant or jealous hindus is likely.
  13. They flopped man, they did the same thing in the final as in their first act. They could of won
  14. Conculsive from what ? Soft Target ? Is Reyat a GOI agent ? perhaps i should pf phrased my point more intelligently, there is no conclusive evidence parmar blew it up, and the only other plausible explanation is that the indian government did it, escpecially with their corrupt record and there also known to set "terrorist" accusations up with little problem. Parmars apparent "involvment" in the 100 different versions of events is very dubious indeed and suggests nothing but foul play on someones part.
  15. Shaheed Baba Jarnail Singh Ji did not advocate blowing up planes so please do not compare with parmar. i do not believe Shaheed talvinder singh blew up the plane, its pretty conclusive that the indian government was behind it, Parmar was a singh and wasnt stupid, that plane was full of apne sikh anyway. Although i do empathise with your point, some people on this thread seem to think that everyones a hero, when there was probably some people in india running around with AK-47's with no actual polictical knowledge or structured basis for violence. the killing of 50 000 hindus speech was nothing to do with parmar, it was only ajaib "singh" bagri who stated such a ludicrous thing.
  16. lol, im waiting for someone to try and justify eating meat so i can totally rinse them!!! :slap
  17. and its amazing how "sikhs" on this forum after watching this, can still jusitfy eating meat, especially when the human body is full capable of prospering without it.
  18. yeh i had a apna in my old school who didnt eat meat on tuesdays and never ate beef. His mum also use to go to the mandir randomly like once a year. I think its just some weird ritualistic random thing that some people do, dont worry about it. If beef is wrong then all meat is wrong!!!lol.
  19. thats two posts now that i really haven't liked. Be careful, you keep going like this and you may become a marked man. :v1:
  20. theres also loads of other inequalities towards sikhs in punjab, eg. the price of a punjabi sikhs crop compared to a hindu from other parts of the country is much higher/lower??, thats why there so much suicide of panjabi farmers. Can anyone get anymore info on this point??? The above doesnt even mention the distibituion of river water and right of punjabi language. So much oppresion and we sit here arguing over nihang cholas and whether AKJ kirtan is pakhand, we need to sort ourselves out.
  21. Its nothing to do with keeping your body the way waheguru gave it, therefore its fine to cut your nails. it is totally for identity. The hair on our face and head can be easily seen and i guess your trying to hint at why we can't cut our pubic and armpit hair as know one looks at it??? The answer: i dnt know, but my question to you is, whats the point of cutting armpit and pubic hair???
  22. No i didnt realise that, i read it on the back of the sikh messenger (summer 03) and thought it was funny,  perhaps we should spread it all over the internet and replace the "sikhs" with "anyone who thinks sikhs are unintelligent", and we should change "santa singh" to rahul patel. lol
  23. About a century or two ago, the Pope decided that all the Sikhs had to leave Italy. naturally there was a big uproar from the Sikh community. So the Pope made a deal. He would have a religious debate with a member of the Sikh community. If the Sikh won, the Sikhs could stay. If the Pope won the Sikhs would leave. The sikhs realised they had no choice. So they picked a middle aged man named Santa Singh to represent them. Santa Singh asked for one addition to the debate. To make it more interesting, neither side would be allowed to talk. The pope agreed. The day of the great debate came. Santa singh and the pope sat opposite each other for a full minute before the pope raised his hand and showed three fingers. Santa Singh looked back at him and raised one finger; The pope then waved his fingers in a circle around his head. Santa Singh pointed to the ground where he sat. Lastly, the pope pulled out a wafer and a glass of wine. Santa Singh pulled out an apple. The pope stood up, "i give up" he said loudly. "the man is too good, The sikhs can stay". An hour later the cardinals were all around the pope asking him what had happened. The pope said, "First i held up three fingers to represent the trinity. He responded by holding up one finger to remind me that there was still one god common to both our religions. Then i waved my finger around me to show him that God was all around us. he responded by pointing to the ground showing that god was also right here with us. I pulled out the wine and the wafer to show that God absolves us from our sins. He pulled out an apple to remind me of original sin. He had an answer for everything. What could i do?" Meanwhile, the Sikh community had crowded around Santa Singh. "What happened?" they asked. "Well," said Santa Singh, "First he said to me that the Sikhs had three days to get out of here. I told him that not one of us was leaving. Then he told me that this whole city would be cleared of Sikhs. I let him know that we were staying right here." "Yes, yes and then?"asked the crowd. "I don't know", said Santa Singh, "He took out his lunch, and I took out mine!!!"
