Just turn up to the class and start training.
  2. How many other dates do u want lol? Your not gonna get a date sooner than sunday..
  3. The bani is the same in all the Gutkeh Sahibs obviously, its just that some rehras sahibs are longer than others, Budda Dal Rehras Sahib is the longest and Rehras Sahib published by SGPC is the shortest. Where are you from, I may be able to get a hold of the Gutka Sahib for u. How come they are longer though? I didn't know there were two variations, I am from leeds in the Uk. Can you read the short and the longer version, I mean if we recite it, would that mean we not reciting the right bani? This not for argument purpose but to know if we are reading the right bani for the evening, thanks veera for your input. All versions are parvaan singh, if panj pyaare didnt state anything when it came to Rehras Sahib then just carry on reading which ever version you read. I think the Taksal version is a safe bet which starts from "har jug jug bhagath oupaaeiaa paij rakhadhaa aaeiaa raam raajae ", its got the dohra's in there after chaupai sahib so I would suggest you read this version if you already dont. SGPC version has cut out the dohras and a part of chaupai sahib so its obviously better to read versions which havent got the bani cut out.

  5. if he was trying to escape, of course his close chelas would lie, wouldn't they? how many burned corpses have you seen? they can't be easily identified. maybe by dental records, etc. burn victims in hospitals are often misidentified for this reason. pictures on tv are not evidence. it's all part of a plot by the gov't to hide him so he doesn't have to testify against him. so maybe they found a couple of mona thugs with long jail histories, and said, "we can make you heroes, all you have to do is burn this fat old guy and we'll pretend he's phoola". wouldn't that be pretty normal behaviour for indian police/gov't? we hear all the time about these kind of scandals... some people think bhindranwale is still alive hiding somewhere. i mean come on. anythign is possible, right? I hate to say it but you do have a point. lol
  6. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh How can we look at these soormeh and call them criminals or murderers? They done mahaseva by taking out Phoola no doubt. We should help the family of the soorma whos family is poor. Lets do ardaas that Maharaj may bless them with rehit instead of calling them names and doubting their actions. 7. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Im not going to comment on Whadbag Singh as I have no knowledge of who he was and what he done but I would just like to ask the Guru Pyaree Saadh Sangat ji one thing, if Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj is blessing these Whadbag Singh gurdwareh/dereh is it not parvaan for a Guru ka Sikh to go there and do namaskaar to their Guru? If this is not parvaan than I have to ask the question, why is our Guru parkash there? Shouldnt tyaar bar tyaar Singhs go to these dereh and take Maharaj from there to a mainstream Gurdwara? If mainstream Gurdwara Sahibs are turning away people who are possessed and they go to this dera for help and they actually help the people and excorcise the demons so to speak, is this maha paap or seva? Im not pro or anti Whadbhag Singh as I havent gota clue of who is he, ive just gathered a bit of info from this topic. and Sarpanch whats wrong with you? Forget all this hatred and anti Hindu crap that you keep going on about, no one cares. Sikhi is about prem not hate, do some mool mantar abiyaas humble benthi. 8. oh waheguru! i'm sorry baba ji, i thought you were someone else. :WW: i would like to add that i have the highest respect for Baba Nihal Singh ji. and to my knowledge, he has never criticized or gone against SRM. however, if i'm wrong, please feel free to let me know. in fact, to my knowledge, none of the great mahapurakh have gone against SRM. even Sant Jarnail Singh ji Bhindranwale said in his speeches to take amrit from anyone, don't worry about these divisions in the panth. the most important thin is Amrivela, at least panj bania nitnem, don't eat meat and don't do bujjar kurehets. this is common across the majority of sampardae, and it's the same as SRM. so i don't see why you guys have to keep trashing the panthic rehat maryada. "Officialy my last post in this topic" I know I said I wouldnt post on here again but I feel your post is in need of a reply. 1) What is with the cheek and sarcasm? "oh waheguru! i'm sorry baba ji, i thought you were someone else. :WW:" That remark wasnt funny at all, your my sister so i have refered to you as penji out of respect, please dont use sarcasm in Panthic debates, humble benthi. 2) Like I have said a number of times in my posts, wear what you want it doesnt bother me but Nihang Singhs dont wear black dumaala but if panj pyare told you that you can wear black then that is SAT BACHAN and IS PARVAAN. 3) If panj pyare dont mention what colours you can or cannot wear then that is kool, wear what you want BUT majority of the Panth i.e Nihang Singhs, Taksali Singhs, Nirmaleh Singhs, AKJ Singhs dont wear green or red dastaars. I think i've made my views clear on this issue and I ask you humbly that you respect them and not quote me again prevoking me to reply. I respect your views, I just ask you to look further into who the SGPC are and how they operate. and by the way Baba Ji has gone against SGPC maryada when he defended the bibia doing kirtan in the Darbar Sahib complex. Story-2 1980 With the protection of Baba Nihal Singh, Krishan Kaur Khalsa was the first woman to perform kirtan, in recent time, within the confines of Sri Harimandir Sahib. Vikram Singh Khalsa was performing kirtan on the Gurupurab for the birthday for Guru Ram Das Ji. This kirtan was for a Bhog on the roof of the Harimandir Sahib -- not in the main hall. When he finished, he motioned for Krishna Kaur Khalsa to play. As she began some SGPC sevadars moved to stop her but Baba Nihal Singh and some other Nihungs stood in their way and protected her right to perform kirtan within the confines of the Harimandir Sahib. Still no Sikh woman has performed kirtan in the main darbar. http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=31286&st=0 Laadli Fauj nice example in your post. 9. i'm going to assume you live in the UK or some other place where every sect/samparda/jatha are all segregated (it's almost like a caste system!), so the only people you know are people who are just like you. in india, the panthic rehet maryada is the most common and the vast majority of sikhs follow it. btw, it's not "set" by sgpc, it's published by them, they did not write it and they can not alter it. but i know, your sant/baba told you something and that's what you'll believe. it's ok, it's just all you've been exposed to. wow how many assumptions did u make in that single post penji? and none of them are right apart from that I reside in UK..Im not tied down to any one jatha or "sect" as u like to call them, I do sangat with all jatheh from Nihang Singhs, Taksali Singhs, AKJ Singhs and Nirmeleh Singhs. I think you need to look into SGPC and who they are and how they came about etc.. This is my last post in this topic, ive said what i have had to say..If your not gonna take it from a mahapurakh like Mahaakaal Baba Nihal Singh Ji than theres no point in continuing the debate. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  10. i don't know what "SGPC" maryada is, but the panthic rehat maryada doesn't say anything about certain colours being better or worse than others. and i'm certain that gurbani doesn't either. i'm not spreading anything anti-panthic, i am sharing what i have learned as a Sikh who is not affiliated with any jatha or samparda. as a panth, we are (supposed to be) united under Akal Takht as our temporal authority. at least that's what Guru Hargobind Sahib seemed to have in mind when he created it. saying that things outside of Akal Takht's maryada are standards for the whole panth is misleading. and discounting Akal Takht's maryada as somehow less valid or less important than that of your particular sect is just wrong. but please feel free to post links to "all of the samparda/jatha" maryadas and their relevant sections, so that we may all learn more about each other. btw, the only reason i'm not wearing a red dastaar today is because i don't have one (yet). Like one of the Singhs said "panthic maryada" is set by SGPC who are politicians and they have control of what goes on under Akaal Takht Sahib. Until Akaal Takht Sahib is back under control of Mahapurakhs i doubt anyone will pay attention to "panthic maryada".. Its a sad state of affairs but thats politics for ya penj.. 11. Laadli Fauja, u got the link to Baba Nihal Singh Ji's katha about this stuff, i cant find it..
  12. yep, it's ok to wear red and green according to the panthic rehat maryada. if your panj at your sampard/jatha told you different, that's fine, don't wear them. but please don't try to enforce your sect's maryada across the panth. thanks. i think i'll buy red kapda tomorrow. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh. Penji I could say the same thing, dont spread SGPC maryada by saying red and green is parvaan There aint one Panthic samprada/jatha which says green/red dastaar is parvaan but chalo if u like to wear red/green dastaar than thats your choice. Ill stick with blue :D Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  13. The Singhs in black may have just been dressed like Nihang Singhs but not actually a part of the Dal, like in UK a lot of Singhs wear chand torra with black baana and dumaala. It is against Budda Dal and Taruna Dal maryada to wear black.
  14. and for the guru pyaree saadh sangat whos saying its just a colour? if its just a colour is it ok to wear red and green also then? end of the day if the panj pyaare gave you rehit of wearing black, blue, white or orange then that is obviously parvaan and you dont need to keep rehit of not wearing black dumaala or banaa.. what ever paanj pyaare say is sat bachaan.. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh
  15. Nihang Singhs dont wear black dumaala or baana. Its maryada for them to only tie blue bunga and blue keski, then they can tie either blue, white or orange as dumaala. Since Nihang Singhs wore dumaala first i think its right to respect the maryada instead of coming out with comments which are not worth posting. Vaheguru Ji ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
