  1. Totally know how you feel. Epecially since the weather's gotten better. being an amrtidhari girl is even harder. Plus I go to a school of mostly white people who are unacustomed to turban wearing hairy females. But then the sun shines, you wear nice simple yet femenine and graceful clothing. You hold your head up high and smile to all. Then you realise that you don't do it for others but yourself and Waheguru. Today a lil kid at a McDonalds reataurant turned asn asked me straight out...'what's that on your head?' I love how kids say what everyone else is thinking (and I could tell they were). So i said in a loud and clear voice...'Ahem, It's called dastaar or turban and as a Sikh it is my crown which a price/princess might wear' 'OOOh I wish I had one!' was the reply. So moral of the story = chill, take the days as they come and remember Him. :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW: :WW:
  2. http://punjablivetv.net/index.asp?video=kulbir&cat=Rel Top bloke :TH: thanks
  3. NDTV News are saying 7 blasts in 6 places with 50 -60 dead, 100+ injured. 8th bomb was defused. Blame is aimed at Bangladesh based Islamists.
  4. May Waheguru bless the souls of the dead.
  5. I hope he reads this because it would really make me happy to see him embrace Gursikhi instead of running around looking like Ali Baba and the technicolour dream paag. However jokes aside a Sikh is one who lives by or is attempting to live by Guru Ji's hukam & a turban is only a rag tied round a fella's head unless the brain it wraps round meditates on Waheguru.
  6. guru sahib asked him hindustan da raj chahida ??? Bro is this the exact words that we're used or did you just give it your own zinger (chatka) twist? :gg:
  7. Bhenji sorry I am not accusing you, just think it is important to protect artiste's "Intellectual Property Rights" Now. With regards to downloading kirtan against the film, its very simple. kirtan/Gurbani belongs to all mankind where as the film belongs to the producers and is only passed to us as a loan. Now if the producers want to make access to the film free or charge that is their prerogative, however if the producers of kirtan cds have a copyright on the lessons held in Gurbani then they are fools, as no man or woman can claim it for their material gains.
  8. Bhenji, I understand exactly what you are saying and would agree with you 100% if the original post wasnt advising people (ie. those exact kids you talking about) to do something illegal - steal.
  9. :WW: Haha you beat me to it. Nice one bro
  10. This has always been a part of the plan. First you wipe out the original article through fake encounters and by introducing high levels of addictive substnces into their community & then you replace that OA with a doctored carbon copy. I read the following article on the Sikh times website, which brought this home: "Mohan, A Turbaned Brahmin By PRIYA YADAV The Times of India, Patiala, Oct. 30, 2006 Ironically, even as Sikhs are letting go of the turban, there are Hindu families taking to it. There are such families in almost every village, people who have clutched on to the turban through ages. Mohan Singh, a Brahmin in village Muradpur, is a typical case. 'We live with Sikhs and it has always been so entrenched in the culture that it is but natural for us to wear turbans,' he said, suggesting a need to be identified with the mainstream. Many non-Sikh cadets who get posted to Sikh regiments are also known to have grown their beards and tuck their long hair under regimental turbans. In contrast, several Sikh officers in armoured units trim their hair and beards, although they wear the turban as part of the uniform. Afterhours, in military parlance they are referred to as 'mechanised Sikhs." If you take a close look around you, you will notice them. Nang Giddar is prime example of one in the UK. The pacification & assimilation is happening all around us. Wake up and get to work!
  11. Paaj thats exactly what I was thinking as I was looking through the friends list. Its the king Satanic and flying monkeys up to their old tricks. Cyberudasi & Cybernihang  that cracked me up, should read Cybernangs. + I love how they refrence the whole hindusikh (forum) nonsense and use the same old points again and again "there are x amount of thousand referneces to Hindu GODs in SGGS", well I say if they didn't have so many GODs we wouldnt need to reference them all to make you understand that there is "ONLY ONE GOD" & he belongs to ALL AND NOT JUST TO THE SO CALLED HIGHER CLASSES.
  12. My sincere apologies, I didn't realise Veerji, MOD's please do what you see fit.
  13. Did anyone get a chance to read todays Evening Standard, in which a writer by the name of Andrew Gilligan basically ran a mock on the Sikh kaum in his article. The article can be found here: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-may...roup/article.do NB. PLEASE ADD YOUR COMMENTS TO THE ARTICLE, BUT BEFORE PRESSING SEND CHECK & THEN DOUBLE CHECK WHAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN TO MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT OFFEND. BE A TRUE REPRESENTATION OF GURU JI'S KHALSA AS ONCE AGAIN THE WORLDS CAMERA'S ARE FIXED FIRMLY ON US. :TH:
  14. He should use Harry Gill   Very clever....
  15. Bro, you need to start backing up what you say. If you feel it is "Anti Gurmat", then please give the reason. Don't just say that without an explanation because it isn't fair to anyone to use strong words like that and not say anything else. The topic starter didn't even know what that meant. It's a little courtesy. I say pets aren't anti gurmat and agree with what some others have said. If it wasn't for a few things that pets do, like all humans do, I would have some myself! :Re: :Re: :Re: :Re: :Re: :Re: :Re: :Re: Couldnt have put it better myself bro. TO ALL "GURSIKHS" - PLEASE USE GURBANI TO BACK UP WHAT YOU SAY OTHERWISE I REBUKE YOUR MAANMUKHI
  16. No disrespect meant to you bro. :D I strongly feel that just because someone might have a half decent comprehension of the English language and can articulate their nonsense with the use of a PC doesn’t automatically qualify them to be an expert on Gursikhi and more importantly make them the spokesman for Sikhs in the UK. The Sikh nation has been plagued by nincompoops like Sunny Hundal throughout the ages and I just think that it is important for us to shine the light on these dark holes, so that the rest of the (non Sikh) world can also become aware of the fact that all they are is a dark empty space with no substance.
  17. Reading that article, I have a very sneaky suspicion that Mr Sunny Hundal has an account on this forum and often posts his mindless drivel under a guise! Now, come out come out wherever you are <_<
  18. Sorry posted in the wrong place mods please can you move this to he right spot
  19. Just something that crossed my mind while I was watching some tv programme where presenter mentioned that the hindu god shiva was also know as one of the gods in greek mythology. Does anyone know anymore about this?
  20. Lord of mercy, when did sikhi become so complicated? I wonder who benefits from all this confusion "Although our intellect always longs for clarity and certainty, our nature often finds uncertainty fascinating" KVC
  21. Paj take it easy on yourself, too much negative thinking might give you an alcer. I was just having a little joke with my brother. + little advice put your guns away cos the met police in the uk have a tendancy to nick gangstas and then your stay in Ingland will end up bein longer than you had planned :homer "Sarbat Da Bhallaa" UK, US, Canada &/or any other Country for that matter
  22. I was just thinking out loud regarding the Master Tara thing. Was he really some sort of infiltrator..if so, why didn't Sikhs suss that out? Actually I'm surprised at a lot of things like that lately, seems like every other person is a Indian placed infiltrator these days... Hence teh question...are we that dumb that we can so easily be infiltrated. Apparently there is also some British government report from the late 80s also saying the Gurdwaras here have been infiltrated in a similar fashion by people claiming to be Khalistanis. WT......? Oh sorry mate I misunderstood you, i thought you were saying that all sikhs were dumb for some reason doh : )
