What do all the 'jathedars' , 'panthic leaders' and 'Amrit prackarak Brahmgyani sant babaji' do when they travel in an airplane from india to West. Do they keep on their kirpans or take them off?

What if it comes naturally to you and without trying to attain it? How to know for sure whether you experience telepathy? What is the next step after telepathy, is it leading to higher spiritual state or does it mean that your spiritual 'kamai' is not giving right results? The so called 'Dharam-prachar Committee' of SGPC exists in name only. Also i too would like to know about the debate between Sikha and Phillip. This proofs that Jesus was not of a good character. For one thing he did not condemn slavery outright. I brought the subject of "slavery" before and now I will bring another subject forward. "hatred for Jews and Judaism" Why would a supposedly son of god allow anti-Judaism and anti-Jewish elements in his teaching? Is there a historical proof that Jesus ever existed?

Also at one point, well documented by historical records at Hazoor sahib, the Singhs there locked the gates and came back to Punjab, as living there was very difficult in olden times. The managment was then taken over by Turks of Nizam of Hyderabad. They took care of the gurdwara with great devotion for many months or maybe year/s. When the singhs went back to claim the place , the turks refused to hand over the shrine saying they had abandoned the place and will not get it back. It was only after great difficulty that they got the gurdwara back from the Turks. This story i read in "Sachkhand Patra" printed from Hazoor Sahib. You think ragi Darshan singh is right then? :gg:

I am not questioning Hazoor sahib. I am against giani Iqbal Singh as is all of Panth.

I believe otherwise. I have never met Sri Kulwant Singh ji, but i know that the Jathedars of Hazoor Sahib are very very dedicated and devoted. But to start questioning Akal Takht is like challenging the whole Sikh Panth. It has been our supreme Temporal seat for centuries. Also Hazoor sahib has never come in direct confrontation with any other Takht. They are saner not to get in un-necessary stupid controversies. But , Takht Hazoor sahib is under the control of Maharashtra govt. They are under the control of D.C of Nander who is chairman or whatever. Their political actions are controlled by Maharashtra Govt. which leads to it their being controlled by central govt. indirectly. Giani Iqbal Singh is making history by challenging Akal Takht and it is an un-precedented act. I think this guy is inviting death. He is under the inluence of BJP and BJP and AKALI DAL are partners in govt. in Punjab. Now everybody knows that BJP has no say in the Govt. and is treated shabbily by Akali Dal. BJP ministers were beaten by Akalis during recent Zila Parishad elections. BJP was humiliated. Panth is in chardi kala in Punjab now. So, BJP is using age old tactic to defame Akali dal via Akal takht (as everybody knows that Akali Dal controls Sgpc which in turn controls Akal Takht politics). Giani Iqbal Singh is being made a scapegoat by BJP to fulfill it's political ambitions. He might end up by paying with his life. He has already received a warning from Babbar Khalsa to mend his ways. They will not warn him second time. P.S Although majority of Jathedars of SGPC and Akali Dal are corrupt and croonies of corruption king Badal, that does not mean one should start challenging Akal Takht.

Me and my cousin used to get drunk at 10 a.m in the morning. After downing a quarter of a bottle, sometimes half of it, we would go to college and attend our classes. We would make fun of everthing that came in our sight, we broke desks, blackboard, beat up fellow students, threw stones in classes. Sometimes we would drink a full bottle, but then we would not go to college as drinking a bottle by two people gets you very tipsy! We continued this routine for three years and were never caught, by any friend or proffessor! not even by our parents!! Now we have left drinking and don't go near Alcohol anymore. It is bad for health makes you an animal. Guru Sahib has told us that alcohol is the most baddest thing to have. I don't know if you drink alcohol or not. But if you drink it for fun, as i used to do, you can leave it anytime. Because the only reason you drink it is for fun, and there are many other better ways to have fun. )))) But NEVER EVER drink alcohol because of some need, like to feel better when you are emotionally down or you want to cheer up your mood or to overcome anxiety. It makes you an alcoholic and can pretty much destroy you and those around you.

I would not, personally, question Hazooor sahib. Although their some brahminical practices continue. They might be right about this dera issue. SGPC has been unable to stop Deravad and now it is gone out of hand. People equally are responsible for promoting dehdhari gurus. In a city like Chandigarh and Mohali, where you expect majority of people to be well educated, majority of Sikhs are followers of Deras. When educated people flock to deras it is not difficult to imagine the state of uneducated and poor. But, giani Iqbal Singh is a very controversial person and Anti-Panth. If there is person needing to be sacked, no one is more deserving than Iqbal Singh. Also, bhai Ranjit singh is not what he seems, he is only fishing in troubled waters.

No my friend. They reached Mohali at around noon and then sat blocking main road, from Chandigarh to Fatehgarh Sahib. Then they started chanting Nitnem Bani, saying they would get up only after a case has been registered against the dera chief. Sgpc chief , Makkar, reached the spot at midnight, assuring them that a case would be registered, much to their relief. After getting assurance from Makkar, at behest of Badal, they proceeded home. One Crore, ten Million Rupees, in his account which he got from sangat of USA, and gave it to Gurdwara Patna Sahib only after lot of protests. And some people quote from DG that you need political power for sustaining Panth. Why are they forgetting that now? If Vedanti has some shortcomings or even Badal, that does not make Iqbal Singh a saint. Iqbal Singh has been sacked once by the management committee of Patna Sahib, if he tries tricks, he will be sacked again. Akal takht has stated that no discussion or controversy of any kind is to be raised regarding 5 banis of nitnem and those recited from DG during Amrit Sanchar. Instead of skirting the REAL ISSUE , would someone explain the Stand of Iqbal Singh regarding DG vis a vis SGGS. About old calendar it was based on Hindu calendar, new one is based on Sikh calendar from the starting point of Sikhi i.e birth of Guru Nanak Dev jee. Iqbal Singh is peeved over the calendar and so is Hazoor sahib, because they were not consulted before implementing the new calendar. It was Tohras mistake, he thought he did not need to consult any one. However this does not mean that the new calendar is not good. And people need to understand that Akal Takht is supreme body of Panth, which it has been since the time of ranjit singh. Personally i feel, it is Tohra that broght decline in functioning of Gurdwaras. He came from communist party of india and did a lot of damage to Panth.

Search internet and you will find many videos of nihangs doing parkash of DG alongside SGGS. Although there is moral corruption in all, Iqbal Singh is an exception. He is supreme leader of anti-panth activities. He is under influence of BJP and want to equate DG with SGGS Regarding Nihangs , during the DERA SACHA SAUDA controversy, Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib came out with intresting observation. They observed that although they are laced with weapons and claim to be army of panth, all they could do was take a protest march from Fatehgarh Sahib to Mohali, a distance of 70 kilometers.

The world won't end, but will change for sure. There was ice age before the age we see today. Now temperature of the globe is increasing and glaciers are shrinking. The next world war will be fought not for Oil, but Water. Punjab was before a large ocean named Tipnis. But that was millions of years ago. Everything on this planet goes through change, same thing applies to Earth. Humans won't die, we might evolve into another species with time. :lol:

The hukamnana of giani Iqbal Singh, in which he had excommunicated Prof. Darshan singh, has been rejected by Akal Takht. The meeting was presided by Jathedars of Akal Takht, Kesgarh Sahib, Damdama Sahib and Head granthi and granthi of Harmandir Sahib. Giani Iqbal Singh was not allowed to enter the meeting in Akal takht secretariat first by Sgpc task force and later by Shingara Singh, who criticised him for clashing with Akal Takht. Iqbal Singh said it was insult of Patna Sahib and vowed a befitting reply, he said he would bring sangat with him. :gg: Akal takht has sole right of resolving common panthic issues. The gurmatta also directed sangat to ignore hukamnanas of Giani Iqbal Singh as Jathedar of takht Patna Sahib. They also directed former jathedar Prof. Darshan singh to stop raising controversy about Dasam Granth and issued a directive to sangat that no controversy is to be raised by anybody regarding portion of bani recited from DG during 'Amrit sanchar'. Akal Takht passed a resolutuion saying that the Dasam Granth was authentic and it was an important and historical Sikh scripture and integral part of panth. But it's 'prakash' cannot be done parallel with Guru Granth Sahib as Guru Sahib had given gurgaddi to Guru Granth only.
