  1. Thats ok finally people will stop screaming about this :D
  2. The first Sikh in our dynasty (Royal dynasty from Orissa who settled in the Doaba in the 10th century and also ruled the Doaba), was a contempary of Akali Baba Phula Singh. The Gurus did most parchar in the Majha area, but not in Doaba. Thats why that Sikhs in Doaba form just 45% of the population, while in Majha they make 61% of the Population. But Akali Phula Singhji who were Doabi themself, did parchar of Sikhi in the area, the first Sikh to do so, and had results. IN that process, the great grandfather of my great grandfather, who was born in the beginning of the 19th century (anytime between 1800 and 1820), took amrit from the hands of Akali Phula Singh ji. From there all were amritdhari in the family. Till my grandfather, who was born in the 1930s, all were amritdhari. Howhever my dad tells me that his grandfather (my great grandfather) was amritdhari and wore gatra, but his grandmother didn't wear gatra... So this says something about Amrit and women in the olden times. Sikhi was considered same as Hinduism in many areas of Punjab, where Sikhs were in the minority and Hindus were the majority. That explains why still many traditional Sardar homes have Hindu deities pics alongside that of our Gurus. That also explains why Sikhs (atleast in my area, as I witnesses last year in india) go to the mandir and consider Hindu deities as equals to our Gurus. Sikhi wasnt the same it is now. Some estimates by me (Bhul Chuk Maaf) 1469 - 1708 - REAL SIKHI 1708 - 1849 - 99% Fake SIKHI 1849 - 1947 - 50% Fake SIKHI 1947 - 1978 - 35% Fake SIKHI 1978 - 1995 - 20% Fake SIKHI 1995 - 2008 - 10-15% Fake SIKHI

  5. When in the early 1600s, 5th Patshah, started compiling SGGS, many banis were attributed to Guru Nanak Dev ji... But weren't added in SGGS. But many others say that Guru Arjan dev ji rejected those banis as not being Guru Nanak's writing... These writings, that weren't included, include, Nasihat Nama and Pransangli, which is said to have been composed and sung by Guru Nanak, during his sojourn in Ceylon (Sri Lanka).

  20. Singhavelli I don't care.. Kick criminal bhaiyas out of Punjab... I don't care, if Canadian govt. does it to criminal Punjabis also, in contrary, i would find it good... SO ur pathetic excuse of an argument is not valid. And since i went there (Punjab) last year, in my home town in Hoshiarpur (Garh Shankar), most Bhaiyas are openly selling drugs, some liquid that young mundey buy to get girls behind them (its fake), smoking cigarettes and telling punjabi mundas to try once to smoke, and so get them addicted to it. Many bhaiyas in my village had smack openly and were selling it as cheap as 200 rs a packet. Bhaiyas also snatch purses/golden chains etc from woman in bigger cities. I just wanna get rid of them. And believe me, i'm not going to stay here in the west... I'm going to india once i'm adult, have a nice jeevan with much paath/rehit and go to punjab to sort things out..
  21. Send these Bhaiyas back to UP, Haryana and Bihar. Instead take labour force of Sikligar Sikh, Vanjara Sikhs, Lobana Sikhs, Satnami Sikhs... Bhaiyas are the real cause of drugs and crime in Punjab. Before there used to be dacoits. But after green revolution, there was no crime anymore. But when these bhaiyas came in late 70s, they took with them all crimes + drugs. If the good ones are be kept, and criminal bhaiyas sent back, bhaiya population will decrease by 85-90%

  23. ""A lady I know, Namjot Kaur, just told me her story of Delhi 84. It's bloodier, nastier and more unbelievable than ours, and I'd like to share it with you, at least the strangest part. So I start in the middle. The mob forced the Sikhs in the house onto the street, including the women and children. They separated the males from the females and threw kerosene on the males. Inderjeet, her husband, knowing what was about to happen, drew his kirpan and cut their son's throat - he was just a little boy of 9. That angered the mob and they turned their total attention to him. As they set him alight, a man appeared beside him, with his hand on Inderjeet's shoulder. Inderjeet didn't move a muscle, just stood there burning, staring at her and smiling. Just before he died, he shouted. "Bole so nihal," and his body collapsed on the ground. Then he and their son, who whose body had been at his feet, rose and embraced the man and they both disappeared. While Inderjeet was burning, the man's hawk kept dive-bombing the mob, which seemed unable to move. After the men disappeared, the mob ran off, screaming in terror, leaving the remaining Sikhs in safety. Namjot is sure the 'man' was Guru Gobind Singh Ji, although he looked quite different from the pictures we see of him. This' man' was very rough-looking, a warrior with a full, bushy beard, not at all like the dandified pictures we see of Guru Maharaj Ji. The hawk, though, is a give-away. And the light around the apparition I believe Namjot's story. I know Guru Papa Ji looks after his children. There's much more to her story, of course, that's just the most dramatic part. I'm trying to convince her to write it out for this blog; I would even be willing to play Alex Haley to her Malcolm X, ie, I'm willing to ghost-write it, you know, as told to."" source: http://roadtokhalistan.blogspot.com/2008/0...delhi-1984.html
