The infamous Raagi has a reputation of going back on changing, and deleting his previous statements. The truth of the matter is the manmukh Raagi will do anything that favors his political career. During the turbulent times post Operation Blue Star the Raagi appeared to be a staunch supporter of an independent Sikh State and he would often refer to the Gurbani of Sri Dasmesh Pita Ji as a tool in his speeches. However, now he has completely rejected the concept of a Sikh State and has made blasphemous remarks directed towards the Gurbani of Sri Dasmesh Pita Ji. It appears that the Raagis true motives are only to undermine the Sikh leadership and create chaos. The raagi has never had any sincere interest in serving the Panth. He only hopes to gain controversy, collect followers, and confuse the Sikh Sangat. You are right. But sikhs have a tradition to go out of the way to give more respect to new entrants. Dr Ambedkar was a low caste Hindu. He wanted to leave Hinduism and embrace sikhism.Maharaja of patiala had declared that in case he joins sikhism he would offer his sister in marriage to him. This is written in Sachi sakhi by Kapur singh.

In my opinion when they embrace sikhism they are as respected members of our faith as anyone else. They have taken a new birth and have abandoned their old belief. They have buried their past.

Khalsa panth has no power to change rules or rehat that was stipulated by our Gurus. Anything done by our Gurus can not be changed. That is manmat. For example parkash of SGGS ji was done by our gurus.It cann't be undoe even though small section want it to be undone.

He is not from AKJ. he is misusing their name. anyone speaking against dasam Granth is not a sikh. It is not about any jathebandi it is about bani of our Gurus. He is the one who arrangd the meetng at cross roads as per an earlier thread, we even mentioned it the joga singh and balbir singh, it dsnt look like they have said anything to him, if he dsnt represent the jatha then they should release a statement saying they dont agree with his views etc I think you have apoint.It seems that akj in UK has strayed from core philosophy of akj and are propagating dasam pita's bani.This is not there in USA and Canada. Any organization tat goes aginst dasam bani needs to be condemned.In this case it is a faction of akj.

We also have plans to do joint parkash of Guru Granth Sahib and Dasam Granth Jee ( at a lower level) at our kirtan smagams and during amrit sanchars. That is the only way to bring reinstate the respect of embattled granth of my spiritual father .

I enter into an arguement with those who slander bani of dasam pita.They are called gurnindaks. Obviously the forum has some rules for Gurnindaks.Gurnindaks should not be spared. DDT and akj are two most respected organizations of sikh panth. Though they have some differences but they do not let those dfferences come to the fore for the welfare of sikh panth. Both DDT and Akj have sacrificed immensely for sikh panth.I respect these organizations even though i do not belong to either.
