  2. lol hahaa nah but seriously, from my limited knowledge I gained from Raj Academy, string instrument is more suitable for learning raag and just helping your voice. So violin I guess would be ok, duno about guitar, but vaja, vaja is juist tapping the keys which is not very flowing, not flowing at all....

And you said you are with someone, that surely means they are partners. This is rather liberal behaviour, "being with" someone before marriage. Sharam nehi ohndee lokaa nu?? I personally think these rules only apply to certain jathas, rules like amrit-dhari can only marry amrit-dhari, and that 2 married people should take amrit together etc. To me these are more modern khalsa rules, I don't think this used to be the case, but I could be wrong. Because for one thing, I don't think the traditional places actually give amrit to women and men in the same bata, but then could be wrong again?

somewhere the thief will be released and a pious man will be caught and his wealth will be looted.106. ਤ੍ਰਿਭੰਗੀ ਛੰਦ ॥ त्रिभंगी छंद ॥ TRIBHANGI STANZA ਸਭ ਜਗ ਪਾਪੀ ਕਹੂ ਨ ਜਾਪੀ ਅਥਪਨ ਥਾਪੀ ਦੇਸ ਦਿਸੰ ॥ ਜੱਹ ਤੱਹ ਮਤਵਾਰੇ ਭ੍ਰਮਤ ਭ੍ਰਮਾਰੇ ਮਤ ਨ ਉਜਿਯਾਰੇ ਬਾਧ ਰਿਸੰ ॥ सभ जग पापी कहू न जापी अथपन थापी देस दिसं ॥ ज्ह त्ह मतवारे भ्रमत भ्रमारे मत न उजियारे बाध रिसं ॥ The whole world will become sinful, there will be none performing austerities; in all countries the unestablishable things will be established; the jealous persons will roam hither and thither; ਪਾਪਨ ਰਸ ਰਾਤੇ ਦੁਰਮਤ ਮਾਤੇ ਕੁਮਤਨ ਦਾਤੇ ਮਤ ਨੇਕੰ ॥ ਜੱਹ ਤੱਹ ਉਠ ਧਾਵੈ ਚਿਤ ਲਲਚਾਵੈ ਕਛੁਹੂ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਬਿਨ ਏਕੰ ॥੧੦੭॥ पापन रस राते दुरमत माते कुमतन दाते मत नेकं ॥ ज्ह त्ह उठ धावै चित ललचावै कछुहू न पावै बिन एकं ॥१०७॥ Absorbed in sinful activities many sects, originators of vices, will come in vogue; because of the greed in their mind, the people will run here and there, but they will not realise anything.107. ਤਜਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਰਮੰ ਗਹਤ ਕੁਕਰਮੰ ਬਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਮੰ ਸਭ ਭਰਮੰ ॥ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਹੀ ਤੰਤ੍ਰੰ ਫੁਰਤ ਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੰ ਚਲਤ ਨ ਜੰਤ੍ਰੰ ਬਿਨ ਮਰਮੰ ॥ तजि हरि धरमं गहत कुकरमं बिन प्रभ करमं सभ भरमं ॥ लागत नही तंत्रं फुरत न मंत्रं चलत न जंत्रं बिन मरमं ॥ Leaving the religion of the Lord, all will adopt evil ways, but without the actions related to the Lord everything will be useless; without understanding the secret, all the mantras, yantras and tantras will become useless; ਜਪ ਹੈ ਨ ਦੇਵੀ ਅਲਖ ਅਭੇਵੀ ਆਦਿ ਅਜੇਵੀ ਪਰਮ ਜੁਧੀ ॥ ਕੁਬੁਧਨ ਤਨ ਰਾਚੇ ਕਹਤ ਨ ਸਾਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਹਿ ਨ ਜਾਚੇ ਤਮਕ ਬੁਧੀ ॥੧੦੮॥ जप है न देवी अलख अभेवी आदि अजेवी परम जुधी ॥ कुबुधन तन राचे कहत न साचे प्रभहि न जाचे तमक बुधी ॥१०८॥ The people will not repeat the Name of the supremely heroic, unconquerable and incomprehensible goddess; they will remain absorbed in wicked deeds and morbid intellect, being devoid of the grace of the Lord.108. ਹੀਰ ਛੰਦ ॥ हीर छंद ॥ HEER STANZA ਅਪੰਡਤ ਗੁਣ ਮੰਡਤ ਸੁਬੁਧ ਨਿਖੰਡਤ ਦੇਖੀਐ ॥ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਬਰ ਧਰਮ ਛਾਡ ਅਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਲੇਖੀਐ ॥ अपंडत गुण मंडत सुबुध निखंडत देखीऐ ॥ छत्री बर धरम छाड अकरम धरम लेखीऐ ॥ The fools will become full of qualities and the wise will lose intellect; the Kshatriyas, leaving the superb dharma, will consider the vices as the real dharma; ਸਤਿ ਰਹਤ ਪਾਪ ਗ੍ਰਹਤ ਕ੍ਰੁੱਧ ਚਹਤ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥ ਅਧਰਮ ਲੀਣ ਅੰਗ ਛੀਣ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਪੀਣ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੦੯॥ सति रहत पाप ग्रहत क्रु्ध चहत जानीऐ ॥ अधरम लीण अंग छीण क्रोध पीण मानीऐ ॥१०९॥ Devoid of truth, the sin and anger will receive respect and the individuals, absorbed in adharma and engrossed in anger will decline.109. ਕੁਤ੍ਰੀਅਨ ਰਸ ਚਾਹੀ ਗੁਣਨ ਨ ਗ੍ਰਾਹੀ ਜਾਨੀਅਤ ॥ ਸੱਤ ਕਰਮ ਛਾਡ ਕੇ ਅਸੱਤ ਕਰਮ ਮਾਨੀਅਤ ॥ कुत्रीअन रस चाही गुणन न ग्राही जानीअत ॥ स्त करम छाड के अस्त करम मानीअत ॥ Absorbed in the love of wicked women, the people will not adopt virtues; they will honour the wicked people, leaving aside the good conduct; ਰੂਪ ਰਹਿਤ ਜੂਪ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਤ ਪਾਪ ਸਹਿਤ ਦੇਖੀਐ ॥ ਅਕਰਮ ਲੀਨ ਧਰਮ ਛੀਨ ਨਾਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਪੇਖੀਐ ॥੧੧੦॥ रूप रहित जूप ग्रहित पाप सहित देखीऐ ॥ अकरम लीन धरम छीन नार अधीन पेखीऐ ॥११०॥ The groups of people, devoid of beauty, will be seen absorbed in sinful acts and will be under the impact of women devoid of dharma.110. ਪਧਿਸਟਕਾ ਛੰਦ ॥ पधिसटका छंद ॥ PADHISHTAKA STANZA ਅਤਿ ਪਾਪਨ ਤੇ ਜਗ ਛਾਇ ਰਹਿਓ ॥ ਕਛੁ ਬੁਧ ਬਲ ਧਰਮ ਨ ਜਾਤ ਕਹਿਓ ॥ अति पापन ते जग छाइ रहिओ ॥ कछु बुध बल धरम न जात कहिओ ॥ The sins have spread over the world and the intellect and religion have become powerless; ਦਿਸ ਬਦਿਸਨ ਕੇ ਜੀਅ ਦੇਖ ਸਭੈ ॥ ਬਹੁ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਮ ਰਤ ਹੈ ਸੁ ਅਬੈ ॥੧੧੧॥ दिस बदिसन के जीअ देख सभै ॥ बहु पाप करम रत है सु अबै ॥१११॥ The beings of various countries are engrossed in sinful acts.111. ਪ੍ਰਿਤਮਾਨਨ ਨਰ ਕਹੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਪਰੈ ॥ ਕਛੁ ਬੁਧ ਬਲ ਬਚਨ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕਰੈ ॥ प्रितमानन नर कहूं देख परै ॥ कछु बुध बल बचन बिचार करै ॥ The people look like the stone-images and somewhere the dialogues are held with power of intellect; ਨਰ ਨਾਰਨ ਏਕਨ ਨੇਕ ਮਤੰ ॥ ਨਿਤ ਅਰਥਾਨਰਥ ਗਨਿੱਤ ਗਤੰ ॥੧੧੨॥ नर नारन एकन नेक मतं ॥ नित अरथानरथ गनि्त गतं ॥११२॥ There are many sects of men and women and the meaningful is always becoming meaningless.112. ਮਾਰਹ ਛੰਦ ॥ मारह छंद ॥ MAARAH STANZA ਹਿਤ ਸੰਗ ਕੁਨਾਰਨ ਅਤਿ ਬਿਭਚਾਰਨ ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਐਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ॥ ਬਡ ਕੁਲ ਜੱਦਪੁ ਉਪਜੀ ਬਹੁ ਛਬਿ ਤੱਦਪ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਬਿਭਚਾਰ ॥ हित संग कुनारन अति बिभचारन जिन के ऐस प्रकार ॥ बड कुल ज्दपु उपजी बहु छबि त्दप प्रिअ बिभचार ॥ People will love wicked and vicious women and undoubtedly the women may have taken birth in superior clans, but they will be indulging in fornication; ਚਿੱਤ੍ਰਤ ਬਹੁ ਚਿੱਤ੍ਰਨ ਕੁਸਮ ਬਚਿੱਤ੍ਰਨ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ॥ ਕਿਧੋ ਦੇਵ ਲੋਕ ਤਜ ਸੁਢਰ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਉਪਜੀ ਬਿਬਿਧ ਪੁਕਾਰ ॥੧੧੩॥ चि्त्रत बहु चि्त्रन कुसम बचि्त्रन सुंदर रूप अपार ॥ किधो देव लोक तज सुढर सुंदरी उपजी बिबिध पुकार ॥११३॥ The women multi-coloured like flowers and like delicate creepers will look like the heavenly damsels coming down.113. ਹਿਤ ਅਤਿ ਦੁਰ ਮਾਨਸ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਨਸ ਨਰ ਹਰ ਅਰੁ ਬਟ ਪਾਰ ॥ ਕਛੁ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਮਾਨਤ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨ ਜਾਨਤ ਬੋਲਤ ਕੁਬਿਧ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ॥ हित अति दुर मानस कछू न जानस नर हर अरु बट पार ॥ कछु शासत्र न मानत सिम्रित न जानत बोलत कुबिध प्रकार ॥ The men will look to their interest secretly and all will act like robbers; they will not accept the Shastras and Smritis and will only talk in uncivilized way; ਕੁਸ਼ਟਿਤ ਤੇ ਅੰਗਨ ਗਲਤ ਕੁਰੰਗਨ ਅਲਪ ਅਜੋਗਿ ਅਛੱਜਿ ॥ ਕਿਧੋ ਨਰਕ ਛੋਰ ਅਵਤਰੇ ਮਹਾ ਪਸੁ ਡੋਲਤ ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀ ਨਿਲੱਜ ॥੧੧੪॥ कुशटित ते अंगन गलत कुरंगन अलप अजोगि अछ्जि ॥ किधो नरक छोर अवतरे महा पसु डोलत प्रिथी निल्ज ॥११४॥ Their limbs will decay because of leprosy and they will be subjected to fatal diseases; these people will roam on the earth unashamedly like animals as if they had come from hell and incarnated on earth.114. ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ दोहरा ॥ DOHRA ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਬਰਨ ਪੁਜਾ ਭਈ ਇਕ ਬ੍ਰਨ ਰਹਾ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਸਕਲ ਸੂਦ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਭਈ ਦਈਵ ਕਰੈ ਸੋ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੧੫॥ शंकर बरन पुजा भई इक ब्रन रहा न कोइ ॥ सकल सूद्र प्रापत भई दईव करै सो होइ ॥११५॥ All the subjects became hybrid and none of the castes had remained in tact; all of them obtained the wisdom of Shudras and whatever the Lord desires, will happen.115. ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ दोहरा ॥ DOHRA ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਬਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਭਈ ਧਰਮ ਨ ਕਤਹੁ ਰਹਾਨ ॥ ਪਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਭਏ ਭਈ ਧਰਮ ਕੀ ਹਾਨ ॥੧੧੬॥ शंकर बरन प्रजा भई धरम न कतहु रहान ॥ पाप प्रचुर राजा भए भई धरम की हान ॥११६॥ There had been no remnant of dharma and all the subjects became hybrid; the kings became the propagators of sinful acts the dharma declined.116. http://www.sridasam.org/dasam?Action=Page&p=1154 ਮਧੁਭਾਰ ਛੰਦ ॥ मधुभार छंद ॥ MADHUBHAAR STANZA ਸਭ ਦੇਸ ਢਾਲ ॥ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਕੁਚਾਲ ॥ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਅਨਰਥ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਤ ਅਰਥ ॥੧੬੧॥ सभ देस ढाल ॥ जह तह कुचाल ॥ जह तह अनरथ ॥ नही होत अरथ ॥१६१॥ The vicious conduct will be visible in all the countries and there be meaninglessness instead of meaningfulness everywhere.161. ਸਭ ਦੇਸ ਰਾਜ ॥ ਨਿਤਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕੁਕਾਜ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਤ ਨਿਆਇ ॥ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਅਨਯਾਇ ॥੧੬੨॥ सभ देस राज ॥ नितप्रति कुकाज ॥ नही होत निआइ ॥ जह तह अनयाइ ॥१६२॥ Evil action were committed throughout the country and everywhere there was injustice instead of justice.162. ਛਿਤ ਭਈ ਸੁੱਦ੍ਰ ॥ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਰਤ ਛੁੱਦ੍ਰ ॥ ਤਹ ਬਿੱਪ ਏਕ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਗੁਨ ਅਨੇਕ ॥੧੬੩॥ छित भई सु्द्र ॥ क्रित करत छु्द्र ॥ तह बि्प एक ॥ जिह गुन अनेक ॥१६३॥ All the people of the earth became Shudras and all were absorbed in base acts; there was only one Brahmin there who was full of virtues.163. ਪਾਧਰੀ ਛੰਦ ॥ पाधरी छंद ॥ PAADHARI STANZA ਨਿਤ ਜਪਤ ਬਿਪ੍ਰ ਦੇਬੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਕੀਨ ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਲੋਚਨ ਦੁਖੰਡ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਕੀਨ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵਿਸ ਸਹਾਇ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਲੀਨ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕਰਿ ਦੈ ਬਚਾਇ ॥੧੬੪॥ नित जपत बिप्र देबी प्रचंड ॥ जिह कीन धूम्र लोचन दुखंड ॥ जिह कीन देव देविस सहाइ ॥ जिह लीन रुद्र करि दै बचाइ ॥१६४॥ A Brahmin always worshipped that goddess, who had chopped the demon named Dhumarlochan into two parts, who had helped the gods and even saved Rudra.164. ਜਿਹ ਹਤੇ ਸੁੰਭ ਨੈਸੁੰਭ ਬੀਰ ॥ ਜਿਨ ਜੀਤ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੀਨੇ ਫਕੀਰ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਗਹੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਜਗਮਾਤ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਤਿਹ ਕੀਅਸ ਚੰਡਕਾ ਦੇਵ ਰਾਇ ॥੧੬੫॥ जिह हते सु्मभ नैसु्मभ बीर ॥ जिन जीत इंद्र कीने फकीर ॥ तिन गही शरन जगमात जाइ ॥ तिह कीअस चंडका देव राइ ॥१६५॥ That goddess had destroyed Shumbh and Nishumbh, who had even conquered Indra and made him poor; Indra had taken refuge with the mother of the world, who had made him king of the gods again.165. ਤਿਹ ਜਪਤ ਰੈਣ ਦਿਨ ਦਿਜ ਉਦਾਰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਹਣਿਓ ਰੋਸ ਰਣ ਬਾਸਵਾਰ ॥ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਹੁਤੀ ਤਾਸ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਕੁਚਾਰ ॥ ਤਹ ਗਇਓ ਨਾਹ ਦਿਨ ਇਕ ਨਿਹਾਰ ॥੧੬੬॥ तिह जपत रैण दिन दिज उदार ॥ जिह हणिओ रोस रण बासवार ॥ ग्रहि हुती तास इसत्री कुचार ॥ तह गइओ नाह दिन इक निहार ॥१६६॥ That Brahmin worshipped that goddess night and day, who in her fury had killed the demons of the nether-world; that Brahmin had a characterless (prostitute) wife in his home; one day she saw her husband performing the worship and offerings.166. ਤ੍ਰੀਯੋ ਬਾਚ ਪਤਿ ਸੋ ॥ त्रीयो बाच पति सो ॥ Speech of the wife addressed to the husband : ਕਿਹ ਕਾਜ ਮੂੜ ਸੇਵੰਤ ਦੇਵ ॥ ਕਿਹ ਹੇਤ ਤਾਸ ਬੁੱਲਤ ਅਭੇਵ ॥ ਕਿਹ ਕਾਰਣ ਵਾਹਿ ਪਗਿਅਨ ਪਰੰਤ ॥ ਕਿਮ ਜਾਨ ਬੂਝ ਦੋਜਕ ਗਿਰੰਤ ॥੧੬੭॥ किह काज मूड़ सेवंत देव ॥ किह हेत तास बु्लत अभेव ॥ किह कारण वाहि पगिअन परंत ॥ किम जान बूझ दोजक गिरंत ॥१६७॥ O fool ! why are you worshipping the goddess and for what prupose you are uttering these mysterious mantras? Why are you falling at her feet and deliberately making an effort for going to hell?167. ਕਿਹ ਕਾਜ ਮੂਰਖ ਤਿਹ ਜਪਤ ਜਾਪ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਡਰਤ ਤਉਨ ਕੇ ਥਪਤ ਥਾਪ ॥ਕੈਹੋ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਮੀਪ ॥ ਦੈ ਹੈ ਨਿਕਾਰ ਤੁਹਿ ਬਾਂਧ ਦੀਪ ॥੧੬੮॥ किह काज मूरख तिह जपत जाप ॥ नही डरत तउन के थपत थाप ॥कैहो पुकार राजा समीप ॥ दै है निकार तुहि बांध दीप ॥१६८॥ O fool ! for what purpose you are repeating her Name, and do you not have any fear while repeating her Name ? I shall tell the king about your worship and he will exile you after arresting you."168. ਨਹੀ ਲਖਾ ਤਾਹਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਕੁਨਾਰ ॥ ਧਰਮਾਰਥ ਆਨ ਲਿੱਨੇ ਵਤਾਰ ॥ ਸੂਦ੍ਰੰ ਸਮੱਸਤ ਨਾਸਾਰਥ ਹੇਤ ॥ ਕਲਕੀ ਵਤਾਰ ਕਰਬੇ ਸਚੇਤ ॥੧੬੯॥ नही लखा ताहि ब्रहमा कुनार ॥ धरमारथ आन लि्ने वतार ॥ सूद्रं सम्सत नासारथ हेत ॥ कलकी वतार करबे सचेत ॥१६९॥ That vile woman did not know that the Lord had incarnated Himself for the protection of the people with the wisdom of Shudras and for making the people cautious, the Lord had incarnated Himself as Kalki.169. ਹਿਤ ਜਾਨ ਤਾਸ ਹਟਕਿਓ ਕੁਨਾਰ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬੁੱਲੈ ਭਤਾਰ ॥ ਤਬ ਕੁੜੀ ਨਾਰ ਚਿਤ ਰੋਸ ਠਾਨ ॥ ਸੰਭਲ ਨਰੇਸ਼ ਤਨ ਕਹੀ ਆਨ ॥੧੭੦॥ हित जान तास हटकिओ कुनार ॥ नही लोक त्रास बु्लै भतार ॥ तब कुड़ी नार चित रोस ठान ॥ स्मभल नरेश तन कही आन ॥१७०॥ He rebuked his wife, realizing her welfare and because of the fear of public discussion, the husband kept silent; on this, that woman got enraged and going before the king of the town of Sambhal, she related the whole episode.170. ਪੂਜੰਤ ਦੇਵੇ ਦੀਨੇ ਦਿਖਾਇ ॥ ਤਿਹ ਗਹਾ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਸੂਦ੍ਰ ਰਾਇ ॥ ਗਹਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਦੀਨੀ ਸਜਾਇ ॥ ਕੈ ਹਨਤ ਤੋਹ ਕੈ ਜਪ ਨ ਮਾਇ ॥੧੭੧॥ पूजंत देवे दीने दिखाइ ॥ तिह गहा कोप करि सूद्र राइ ॥ गहि ताहि अधिक दीनी सजाइ ॥ कै हनत तोह कै जप न माइ ॥१७१॥ She showed the worshipping Brahmin to the king and the Shudra king getting infuriated, arrested him and giving him the hard punishment, the king said, "I shall kill you, or you abandon the worship of the goddess."171. ਰਾਜਾ ਸੂਦ੍ਰ ਬਾਚ ॥ राजा सूद्र बाच ॥ Speech of the Shudra king : ਨਹੀ ਹਨਤ ਤੋਹ ਦਿਜ ਕਹੀ ਆਜ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਬੋਰ ਬਾਰ ਮੋ ਪੂਜ ਸਾਜ ॥ ਕੈ ਤਜਹੁ ਸੇਵ ਦੇਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਤ ਆਜ ਤੋਕੋ ਦੁਖੰਡ ॥੧੭੨॥ नही हनत तोह दिज कही आज ॥ नही बोर बार मो पूज साज ॥ कै तजहु सेव देवी प्रचंड ॥ नही करत आज तोको दुखंड ॥१७२॥ O Brahmin ! throw away this material of worship in the water, otherwise I shall kill you today; abandon the worship of the goddess, otherwise I shall chop you into two parts."172. ਬਿਪ੍ਰ ਵਾਚ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੋ ॥ बिप्र वाच राजा सो ॥ Spech of the Brahmin addressed to the king : ਕੀਜੈ ਦੁਖੰਡ ਨਹੀ ਤਜੋ ਸੇਵ ॥ ਸੁਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਸਾਚੁ ਤੁਹ ਕਹੋ ਦੇਵ ॥ ਕਿਉ ਨ ਹੋਹਿ ਟੂਕ ਤਨ ਕੇ ਹਜਾਰ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਤਜੋ ਪਾਇ ਦੇਵੀ ਉਦਾਰ ॥੧੭੩॥ कीजै दुखंड नही तजो सेव ॥ सुन लेहु साचु तुह कहो देव ॥ किउ न होहि टूक तन के हजार ॥ नही तजो पाइ देवी उदार ॥१७३॥ O king ! I am telling you the truth; you may cut me into two parts, but I cannot leave the worship of the without hesitation, I shall not leave the feet of the goddess."173. ਸੁਨ ਭਯੋ ਬੈਣ ਸ਼ੂਦਰ ਸੁ ਕ੍ਰੁੱਧ ॥ ਜਣੁ ਜੁਟਯੋ ਆਣਿ ਮਕਰਾਛ ਜੁੱਧ ॥ ਦੋਊ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਸਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਸ੍ਰੋਨਤ ਚੁਚਾਨ ॥ ਜਨ ਕਾਲ ਤਾਹਿ ਦੀਨੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ॥੧੭੪॥ सुन भयो बैण शूदर सु क्रु्ध ॥ जणु जुटयो आणि मकराछ जु्ध ॥ दोऊ द्रिग सक्रुध स्रोनत चुचान ॥ जन काल ताहि दीनी निशान ॥१७४॥ Hearing these words, the Shudra king fell upon the Brahmin like the demon Makraksha on the enemy; the blood gushed up from both the eyes of the Yama-like king.174. ਅਤਿ ਗਰਬ ਮੂੜ ਭ੍ਰਿੱਤਨ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥ ਉੱਚਰੇ ਬੈਣ ਇਹ ਹਣੋ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਤਾਸ ਦ੍ਰੋਹੀ ਦੁਰੰਤ ॥ ਜਹ ਸੰਭ੍ਰ ਸੁਭ ਦੇਵਲ ਸੁਭੰਤ ॥੧੭੫॥ अति गरब मूड़ भ्रि्तन बुलाइ ॥ उचरे बैण इह हणो जाइ ॥ लै गए तास द्रोही दुरंत ॥ जह स्मभ्र सुभ देवल सुभंत ॥१७५॥ That foolish king called his servants and said, "Kill this Brahmin." Those tyrants took him to the temple of the goddess.175. ਤਿਹ ਬਾਧ ਆਂਖ ਮੁਸਕੈ ਚੜਾਇ ॥ ਕਰ ਲੀਨ ਕਾਢ ਅਸ ਕੋ ਨਚਾਇ ॥ਜਬ ਲਗੇ ਦੇਨ ਤਿਹ ਤੇਗ ਤਾਨ ॥ ਤਬ ਕੀਯੋ ਕਾਲ ਕੋ ਬਿਧ੍ਰ ਧਿਆਨ ॥੧੭੬॥ तिह बाध आंख मुसकै चड़ाइ ॥ कर लीन काढ अस को नचाइ ॥जब लगे देन तिह तेग तान ॥ तब कीयो काल को बिध्र धिआन ॥१७६॥ Tying the bandage before his eyes and tying his hands, they took out the glistening sword; when they were about to strike the blow with the sword, then that Brahmin remembered KAL (death).176. ਜਬ ਕੀਯੋ ਚਿਤ ਮੋ ਬਿਪ੍ਰ ਧਿਆਨ ॥ ਤਿਹ ਦੀਨ ਦਰਸ ਤਬ ਕਾਲ ਆਨ ॥ਨਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਚਿੰਤ ਚਿਤ ਮਾਂਝਿ ਏਕ ॥ ਤਵ ਹੇਤ ਸ਼ੱਤ੍ਰੁ ਹਨਿ ਹੈ ਅਨੇਕ ॥੧੭੭॥ जब कीयो चित मो बिप्र धिआन ॥ तिह दीन दरस तब काल आन ॥नही करो चिंत चित मांझि एक ॥ तव हेत श्त्रु हनि है अनेक ॥१७७॥ When the Brahmin mediated on KAL (death), then he appeared before him and said, "Do not worry in your mind, I shall kill many enemies for your sake."177. ਤਬ ਪਰੀ ਸ਼ੂੰਕ ਭੋਰਹ ਮਝਾਰ ॥ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਆਨ ਕਲਕੀ ਵਤਾਰ ॥ ਤਾੜ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੁ ਕਰੀਅਸ ਉਤੰਗ ॥ ਤਰ ਕੱਛ ਸੁ ਵੱਛ ਤਾਜੀ ਸੁਰੰਗ ॥੧੭੮॥ तब परी शूंक भोरह मझार ॥ उपजिओ आन कलकी वतार ॥ ताड़ प्रमानु करीअस उतंग ॥ तर क्छ सु व्छ ताजी सुरंग ॥१७८॥ Then a dreadful sound was heard from the basement of the temple and Kalki incarnation manifested Himself; he was long like the palm tree; He had bedecked His waist with quiver and he was riding on a beautiful horse.178.
