Bhai Sahib, I have a question for you. What is the difference between Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji? why do you ask me this question if you know the answer? or should i say how do you know the difference? i know what i think, is there a point of writing a long arguement over this? NO it still stick to my answer i gave before. as a sikh with kesh i feel very sadden that mona sikh get discriminated by these taliban thinking sikhs who have no gyian in them also you have no right to decide whos sikh and whos not.

one mistake that maharaja ranjit singh made was he should off left the Panj Piare in charge of punjab, since they were not corruptible like the spgc, providing good leadership also the dogras would not dear to kill them off.

well you shouldnt listen to what spgc have to say or these taliban sikhs. if a person consider themselves a sikh thats the first step, and the next would be practice more about their sikhi, and not by being forced into something.

when someone says this Guru said this and that one didn't say it. I get a cramp in the back of my neck and I can't refrain from telling the Truth. I asked you a simple question to show that your statement is flawed and you couldn't see the light in it. You proceeded with your statement again probably for the sake of not being proven wrong (which has ego written allover it) or you just didn't know the answer or like i said clever tricks. Whatever the case the Truth is out and the cramp is gone. :D no nothing to do with flaw in my statment, i didnt want to argue with you. anyway you were sitting with guru nanak or did he tell you who is considered a sikh? what about the people who didnt keep kesh in those times? they werent consider sikh by guru nanak? people like you and spgc would like a make rules saying that mona's arent sikhs bend the rules to ur will and what you find suitable?

well if a singh says your not a sikh cuz you dont keep kesh, dont listen to them, first they need to look at themselves first and its true it will discourage mona sikhs.

I think Guru Gobind Singh said that only to people who wanted to become khalsa and his singhs. Before that we were Guru Nanak sikhs. whats the difference between Guru Nanak Dev ji and Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji? my point was Guru Gobind Singh said you must have hair and weapons if you wanted to become khalsa, but Guru Nanak didnt ask his sikh followers to keep hair and weapons to be considered a sikh.

the dogras were the main reason the khalsa army lost the wars when they were about to win it, such as hiding the guns and ammo from the army, giving plans to the british and not letting the khalsa army attack the british when they had the upper hand by holding them back from attacking.

yes he was, he able to unite the sikhs to form one nation, called sarkar Khalsa. He was feared by the british, muslims and hindus, only when he died that the goverment start to crumble, during his time no one could defect him. Wow, just think if guru nanak was alive, who would he consider a sikh? wheather if they had kesh/dhari or not? <_< Im getting <Edited> of with this attitude towards mona's not being Sikhs esp amritdhari's sikhs thinking they are only the gurus sikhs and they are higher then all. If Sikhs get khalistan, then what? Kick all mona's out? treat them like 2nd class citizens? Dont get me started about SGPC, they sold out the sikh nation.

Attended the programme, over all it was very good and interesting esp the english Katha. The guy made alot good points about sikhs in general, the punjab situation, amritdaris and translated the Katha well. I hope we have more of these programmes in the future, our youth need more knowledge about sikhi, not only at park avenue also at havelock road too. :rolleyes:

It so true, im not trying trying to bash amritdhari's, nowdays some of them have no gian inside, its all for show they wont come to some ones aid. SP were nothing compare to the Holy Smokes (Southall), not only they protected Sikhs from the National Front but other communities as well. Yes they did drink too, I guess that's what the youth do when they are young. Also I don't hardly see any singhs at my gym but go to the gurdwara they are all out of shape like you said and women in general don't get me started please don't come half naked.

Im proud of the sikhs roles in the world wars, I had family serving in the British Indian army

Lets remember our brothers Beant Singh and Satwant Singh who delivered justice for the Sikh nation by finishing off the tyrant (Indira Gandhi) who sent the Indian army to attack the golden temple and killing so many of our sisters and brothers.
