This is because the smagam organisers delayed the bhog because of the so called "technical" issues...and kirtan was done instead for 1 whole hour while they "sorted" the "technical" difficulties out!! Maharaj ji's hukamnama after the bhog said it all.....

FYI - the sikh channel do not pay for the live broadcast..this was payed by the smagam organisers to the company that film it and send to the sikh channel...and yes it was a lot of money!

Getting video content isnt an issue - and to improve quality of sound and video is also no issue...its all about getting to play them on the channel!! As someone has mentioned before..money talks! Everyone knows they are making a stooopid profit...which maybe being pumped into other ventures we do know! If we ar e going to start talkign bout copyrights etc...then Sikh channel currently are playing an Immortal Productions kaveeshri bout the Chaar Sahibzaade which they have no permission to use or air???!!! The main problem being...either they do not have dharmik advisors to advise them properly or they are being used in politics! (as we all know the channel isnt owned by amritdhari people..!!)

I personally know how much money has been payed by the sevadaars to bring this smagam to the homes of all sikhs in UK and Europe and as to why is isnt even being advertised to its full potential (as they have done with previosu programs...with the countdowns to live....ad every hour etc ect) is beyond me! And only to find that the ticker that runs across the bottom fo the screen was only updated today with the barsi details and half heartedly aswel...half the information is missing and no inclusion of who is attending to sing the praises of maharaaj and do katha veechaar!! its kinda annoying now!

They say it is a "Sanjha Channel" ?? Is it though?....if they are pushing their own agenda or if they are pushing the agendas of those who sweetens the palm of their hand with the green? but then again... Sri Dasam Granth bhog will be live on Sikh Channel (dont be fooled by the sikh channel making out they are bringing you these live programs..... it is in fact the individual organisers ..ie. manchester akj smagam organisers..leamington gurdwara /sangat etc or are paying a huge amount of money to bring these live programs to our homes!) If they are willing to bring the bhog live...does that mean they are no anti?? its kinda confusing...or are they just confused themselves?

As far as i am aware it will be exactly the same as last year - the sehaj path has been started and the bhog will be carried out on 23rd dec 2009 with sri dasam granth parkash obviously. Then a mahaan kirtan katha smagam on the life and bani of Dasmae patshah sahib sri guru gobind singh ji

The sevadaars will eb working very hard to bring you the higheest quality of recordings Please try and attend...nothign better thanbeibng htere...and spread the word!!

VJKK VJKF Can we ask the organiser if it possible to incorporate www.chaupaisahib.org into the event... maybe do a Chaupai Sahib paath in sangat form and do a head count and submit the number completed on the website?
