(hope i tell it right ) there was this singh (some time around 10th Guru Jis time) who was in a war and was abt to kill this muslim guy..he had him on the ground and was gonna finish him off, when the muslim spit on the singhs face. the singh got really mad and raised his kirpan with anger but then stopped himself and said to his enemy "at first i was gonna kill you as my enemy, but if i do it now..it will be outta anger and if i kill you out of anger i will probably have to be reborn in the next life to pay for the bad karam that will cause" so the singh spared his life and the muslim guy was so taken back and inspired he joined the khalsa fauj and later took amrit. singhs did battle with bir rass and not anger bhulla chuka di maaf WAHEGUROO JI KA KHALSA WAHEGUROO JI KI FATEH!!

WAHEGUROO JI KA KHALSA WAHEGUROO JI KI FATEH!! this story was told to me by a singh.... (pardon if i forget any pieces it has been a while since i was told it) a singh was in india, and boarded a bus. on that bus he saw many pictures of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. however to his suprise the driver and owner of the bus was a muslim. the singh became really curious of why this was. so he asked the muslim guy why this was so. but the muslim guy got offensive and said he wont tell why he has pictures of Guru Ji lined in the bus. but the singh said that he was not trying to cause trouble and was asking sincerely. so the muslim guy became quiet and said "ok if u really wanna kno then come to so and so adress tommaro and i will tell you if you show up. sure enough the singh showed up there the next place and the muslim guy narrated his story. this muslim guy (lived in india) and he got a disease and became a korree (i think its called being a lepper in english ) anyway, the people in his village and his family made a small home/hut for him way out in the middle of no where. and everyday someone from his family would come to drop off some food near his home and later he would come out and eat it. this continued for some time and after a while only his mother did this sewa of bringing him food. however, after a while even she stopped doing this. by now his condition was really bad and was almost fully crippled from his disease. so after few days when he did not get any food in a desparate attempt, he crawled out of his hut and just began to crawl, not knowing where he was going. he crawled for some while, until he heard some noise and began to crawl his way in that direction. the noise he heard was comming from a nagar kirtan. no one really paid much attention or noticed him. he kept crawling and came to some nihang singhs :nihungsmile: with some horses (these were horses from the same blood line as 10th Guru Jis horse and are taken care of by nihang singhs). so when this guy got there he couldnt crawl any longer and just lay there. one of the horsed took its hoof and put it on that guy. amazingly somehow how in a few days or so this guys disease left him and became almost perfectly normal again. and not long after he became a sucessful business man (the bus business). so he told that singh, now i have many buses in my business and in each one of my buses i keep several pictures of Guru Gobind Singh Ji . the end. bhulla chuka di maaf WAHEGUROO JI KA KHALSA WAHEGUROO JI KI FATEH!!

i am reminded of this one speech of Baba Jarnail Singh Ji he talks of Bhai Taru Singh Ji n said that Bhai Sahib Ji used to take parshadeh and langar and give it to the singhs. when the muslims learned of this they asked Bhai Sahib if it was true and Bhai Sahib said yes, they told him to stop feeding the singhs and Bhai Sahib declined. Bhai Taru Singh Ji accepted the punishment of getting his khopri removed but refused to stop doing langar sewa for the singhs

Here is the part of his story... ####################################### Before the start of samagam, Giani Harbhajan Singh Chaminda and myself expressed our desire for partaking Amrit. Bhai Sahib said, "Well, take full bath and be present before the Akhand Path starts and listen to whole of the recitation." We did as instructed. After Bhog of Akhand Path, keertan of Asa di Vaar was over by about 10.00 a.m. Panj Piyaras assembled in a room in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib for initiating new Khalsas. Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Jee, Bhai Attar Singh Jee, Bhai Surjan Singh Jee Gujarwal, Bhai Parbhakar Singh Jee Lalton and a Singh Jee from Phallewal served as Panj Piyaras, and Jathedar Ram Singh Jee was in attendance to Sri Guru Granth Sahib. First Giani Harbhajan Singh appeared before Panj Piyaras. He was asked whether he was married or not to which he replied that he was married. He was asked if his wife is also with him and ready to partake Amrit. To which he replied that he has come alone. At this he was told that both, he and his wife, should be present together. He alone cannot be administered Amrit. Bhai Harbhajan Singh came out very dejected and weeping, he went straight to a manger (Khurli) in the courtyard, threw himself in it and started wailing uncontrollably. I tried to console him and find out the reason for his grief but he could n ot utter a word. Then the Panj Piyaras called me; I went inside, bowed before the Guru and stood up with folded hands. Thus proceeded questions and answers about my marital status: "Are you married or not?" "I am married." "Then you can not be administered Amrit in the absence of your wife." "It means that if my wife does not agree to partake Amrit I will have to die without coming under the umbrage of Guru. I do not need a wife I need Amrit. Please find a way to administer Amrit to me." "You will have to pledge in the presence of Panj Piyaras and Guru that unless your wife partakes Amrit and she is married to you as per Gurmat traditions by performing Anand Karaj, you will not consider her as your wife." As I had married as per Hindu rites. I agreed to this condition. Bhai Sahib again said, "The pledge you are going to take before the Guru is difficult to keep. Give a second thought to it." I thought for a moment and replied, "I consider Panj Piyaras as living image of omnipresent Guru. When in the presence of Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the living image of the Guru, Panj Piyaras bless me then I will be able to face any difficult situation and all problems would be solved." "All right bow before the Guru, you will be administered Amrit." I was very much attached with Giani Harbhajan Singh. I requested on his behalf, "Harbhajan Singh is very upset. He is weeping and wailing and can not be consoled. Please consider him also under similar condition."
