I was wondering if anyone here played WORLD OF WARCRAFT (WoW) for PC... waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!! i ve been going to it ever since i can remember but i dont think im going to it this yr i dont think it should be in y.c who is looking at sikhs there? there is only peach trees there. and people who are watching are the people who have "parking $5 " signs in front of their grage door. we should have it in sanfrancisco like was done one yr. i remember that when i looked down the street there was large numbers of non sikhs who were stopping other sikhs as they walked and asking them about sikhi and who we were. and shop keepers who stopped working and watched the nagar kirtan go by. that actually shed some light on who we are. but peach trees and tractors? its true that there are a lot of punjabi ppl in y.c and maybe thats why the choose to have it there.. but thats the only "good" reason to have it there. otherwise its just some greedy money grabbers who are thinking only of how many ppl will come and matha tek in their Gurdwara. HAHAHAHA how convenient!

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!! at my house i found a dvd called shudh santhea by Giani Thakur Singh (whos katha i really enjoy). the dvd has guide on oorra arrah (punjabi alphabet and numbers) and some guide on some nitnem baanis. I did not really get a chance to go through it but wat i saw seems pretty good. maybe if someone has seen the entire dvd they can let us know. it seems like they have done a good sewa, and they plan to release many more katha mp3 and dvds in the future.

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!! you asked does anyone know if kala afghana is amritdharee... well he wears a kirpan and seems to have uncut hair but this is probably just a costume for him to establish creditability. he would like others to think he is a sikh so whatever garbage he feeds you, will seem more authentic comming from a "fellow sikh" rather than if say he was a mona or somthing. he would love nothing more than to take away what has kept us going all these years (our sharda). hope that answers your question

im talking about AMRITDHAREES who have committed a bajjar kurehit (and had to retake amrit), they are usually not allowed to do sewa in the panj.

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!! actually... if someone has done one of the four bajjar kurehits then he/she is disqualified for this sewa. if you have done pesh for something else (non bajjar kurehit) and are not kicked out of the panth or something. you can still be a candidate for this sewa (provided you have the jeevan for it) -should also have a lots of simran in your "account" rest of your points are good waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!!

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!! you are talking about baba harnaam singh ji here is that story (summed up): ####################################### in the month of june it was really hot and baba ji was sitting in a hut doing mool mantar. when all of a sudden a singh with a glowing face showed up at the door. they both exchanged fatehs and the singh told baba ji that Guru Gobind Singh Ji is here to meet you. wen they both went outside Guru Ji was on his horse and baba harnaam singh bowed at his feet. Guru Sahib Ji only smiled and then turned his horse around and rode away and dissapeared. BHS was stunned and asked the singh with the glowing face that how come Guru Sahib Ji gave him darshan (and he was very happy because of this) but didnt give any bachans/say anything. the singh told him that Guru Sahib Ji was really pleased with Baba Ji but did not say anythiung becasue baba ji didnt used to do his jaap sahib. BHS told him the reason he didnt do it was becasue he had a very hard time reading it. the singh told him that anyone who doesnt do full nitnem wont get full kushi of Guru Ji as it is a hukam of the panjpyareh to do those required baanis daily. he said that some one who does the required baanis and more, only that person get full blessing from Guru Sahib Ji. so from that day on BHS made sure he did jaap sahib everyday no matter how long it took and after some while he memorized it. ####################################### BHS was one of the most chardikala singhs of our time

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!! some time ago i got a calender (year 2004) from my local gurdwara... a fews days ago i was flipping through it and on the month of november it had a short paragraph on the shaheedi of Baba Deep Singh Ji the part in question read "But enemies sword also simultaneously cause a severe blow to Baba Deep Singh and his neck was partially cut and head tilted towards one side." everyone knows that Baba Ji's head was cut off..but here it says differently. this smells a bit kala-afghana-ish to me (for those that dont know, kala afghana likes to promote the idea the Baba Ji only got a deep cut on his neck)..yesterday it was acknowleged that Baba Jis head was cut off, today his neck tilted to one side..tommarow maybe he got a little scrape on his neck cut . im not sure y the printers wrote history this way but its still wrong and needs to be changed especially since most of the time they just reprint the same thing over and over every year. i have already emailed them (NICELY) and asked them to correct their mistake. i ask that others do so as well. if they dont decide to change this then we know that they believe in kala-afghana mumbo jumbo and we can have our Gurdwara Sahibs stop recieving them. here is how to contact them: website: www.vancityprinters.com email: info@vancityprinters.com phone #: 1-800-385-8763 fax: 604-255-9001 VanCity Printers 1860 Powell Street Vancouver, BC.
