PLEASE KEEP THIS TOPIC HERE SO ALL CAN SHOW THEIR SUPPORT TO THE PANTHIC LEADERS & JATHEBANDIA WHO HAVE DONE SO MUCH WORK OVER THE LAST 25 YEARS+ Most people in the UK will have watched tonights live discussion show on Sangat TV in which many Panthic leaders who have done sewa for the last 25 years+ came on live TV (along with many phone calls) to show how hurt and upset they were with the discussion show that happened yesterday on Sikh Channel - absolutely disgusting. In that show, members of the newly formed International Panthic Dal, some gurdwara committee members (Guru Arjan Dev Gurdwara Derby and stage secretary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara Leicester - not committee), old ex members of jathebandia (eg Raghbir Singh) and Baba Baljit Singh Dadu Wala (who has flown in to the UK from India especially to support Sikh Channel and attend Dastar Day) etc were all sitting there for two hours, basically putting down the drain 25 years worth of work of respected panthic leaders and jathebandia. This was not a normal discussion show, this was beyond civilised and respectful discussion where phone calls were set-up and every person was pretty much speaking against panthic sikhs as if they are enemies. The likes of Sikh Federation, Sikh Council, Babbar Khalsa Singhs, AKJ leaders, Bhai Joga Singh, Bhai Kuldip Singh Chaheru (brother of Shaheed Bhai Manvir Singh Chaheru), Bhai Amrik Singh Gill, Bhai Avtar Singh Sanghera, Jathedar Bhai Balbir Singh Babbar, FSO, GNNSJ and Bhai Sahib, Bhai Dabinderjit Singh, Dr Inderjit Singh, pretty much every single panthic Sikh and leader out there was called a traitor.... Okay, I don't agree with some of these people, but there is no doubt they have done good work for the Panth over the years in their own capacity. The Sikh Channel presenter (forgot his name?) basically sat there laughing and waiting for the panel and audience to speak more negativity and nonsense. They said that whoever does not support the Sikh Channel Dastar Day is not a Sikh at all. They said these Sikh organisations are asking for 3 years of accounts for Sikh Channel, but they ask them for 25 years worth of accounts from the jathebandia who have taken all the money (even the good ones!!!). This is what was said on a Sikh television channel and live to the world as well. Baba Baljit Singh Dadu Wala sat there listening and supporting them all. In the end he even said what everyone said was really good?????? Most of the things said cannot be repeated but the discussion show was disgraceful. A recorded broadcast was shown from India of Baba Harnam Singh Dhumma of Damdami Taksal who has supported Dastar Day, along with the traitor Jasbir Rode who has recently gone public and now openly supporting Akali Dal of traitor Badal. These recordings were brought by Baba Baljit Singh Dadu Sahib Wala from India (as he is close to both of them). Apparently an email sent from Mr Bal of Sikh Channel to Sikh leaders about Dastar Day was read out on Panjab Radio two days ago and Bal had said that no "anti-Indian element" or any talk of "Sikh Sovereignty" (ie Khalistan) would be allowed at Dastar Day (D-Day). What is this saying??? On todays Sangat TV discussion show the Sikh leaders cleared their points. Many phone calls sympathised with Sangat TV and the jathebandia about what was said at yesterdays discussion show on Sikh Channel. Some phone calls came in from people who were directly trying to speak against Sikh Channel and their presenter and those who were at the discussion show, but Sangat TV presenter Kulwant Singh had respect and did not allow this and even cut calls off. Hats off to him and Sangat TV for taking a more professional, civilised and Gurmukh approach. Callers, panel and audince on Sangat TV today were disgusted at Sikh Channels show and those involved (new to the Panthic scene, congress type people or those kicked out Gurdwara committees and jathebandia). Everyone was particularly upset and angry with so-called "Sant" Baba Baljit Singh Dadu Wala who has took one side and also spoke against panthic people and jathebandia (he supported all those who did this) and people asked why was here as he does not know anything about Dastar issues in UK/Europe. Someone also questioned his close links with traitor Paramjit Sarna of the Delhi Gurdwara Parbandak Committee who has also given a siropa to the grandson of the enemy of sikhs Lala Jagat Narain (he was killed by Sikhs years ago)...etc. Please all post, not to speak against Sikh Channel and those present in their discussion show as enough has been said now, but to support the Panthic leaders and jathebandia who have been and are doing a great job for the panth, in their own particular way - those like AKJ, Babbar Khalsa, Sikh Federation, Damdami Taksal, FSO, Sikh Council, GNNSJ etc. Also, if one does not support and attend Dastar Day, it does not mean they are not a Sikh but an Indian Government agent! That was a ridiculous statement as well!!! Most Sikh Youth in UK are clear on their stance! Have just been watching Sangat TV live discussion tonight and got great news that apparently after meetings for months, the UK Sikh Council and UK Sikh Federation after a final meeting yesterday with the Italian Embassy have already secured Dastar rights in Italy!!! Italy will be adopting the same system as the UK!!! A Sikh Council/Sikh Fed rep called during the discussion today and said both Sangat TV and Sikh Channel were told yesterday about this breaking news but only Sangat TV have reported it, Sikh Channel did not report anything (as their Dastar Day is tomorrow, but the Italy problem has already been sorted!!!). Apparently there are just a few formalities left and Italy should be formally announcing this on this coming Monday I think they said! This is months and months of hard work by these individuals and jathebandia (Sikh Fed/Council) finally paid off! Now what will happen is after "Dastar Day" happens tomorrow, Sikh Channel will try to take credit on Monday for work done by others (it is the hard work of Sikh Fed and Council and other jathebandia who have been campaiging for years, in particular over the last few months). Politics? This is what will happen and is the reality, just watch this space and see what will happen now.... BUT THIS IS GREAT NEWS FOR ALL SIKHS AND ESPECIALLY THOSE IN ITALY!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone from Sikh Federation or Sikh Council may want to give us more updates and news about this in this topic...........

If that is true then Manmohan Singh could indeed be a 100% sell-out and agent of India/Sarna. No doubt this rumour which has been floating around in UK Sikh circles for years could be true! I have also heard rumours that Dadu Sahib Wala Baljit Singh is very close with Sarna and is in regular contact with him - do you have any info about this?

Dal Khalsa to release such a statement is not a good idea. Do not agree with this move at all, personally. Sikh Council I can understand issuing a statement, but why one-man groups like Manmohan Singh of Dal Khalsa? Why cause more friction and stirring? Why take extreme sides? Dal Khalsa, well supporters of it on this forum anyway, are supposed to have a panthic image to support Khalistan and anti-India (I 100% agree with that). But according to Chaheru on Panjab Radio last night, he read out an email from Mr Bal of Sikh Channel which said that there should be no "anti-Sikh elements" at Dastar Day and no talk of "Sikh Sovereignty" i.e. Khalistan. This is obviously the signs of a pro-India channel and person who is against Khalistan. So the question is, why would some one like Manmohan Singh and Dal Khalsa (forget them actually, in particular their UK youth supporters) want to support such an event and channel that is pro-India and anti-Khalsa Raj??? In fact, it must not be forgotten that until Sangat TV came, Sikh Channel never spoke ANYTHING political about Khalistan or against India or anytihng about Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindan Wale at all, not even a photo. It was Sangat TV who first played speeches of Sant Jarnail Singh, so I have to rate them GREATLY for that! (I am not against Sikh Channel in anyway and neither am I for or against Dastar Day, it is just an interesting question one can't help but to wonder).

This is a very good move by Dhadrian Wale Sant and a very sensible plan. I have heard Amrik Singh Gill of the UK's sikh federation got the support of sangat for this as well at last weeks International Sikh Conference in the Midlands where all the large gathering of sangat that was there put their arms in the air to support this idea. osingh makes good points. Sant Samaj leadership has been infiltrated by people who have just stuck "sant" in front of their name but have no principles. The true ones have distanced themselves from Sant Samaj which was once a respected organisation for years and years. The likes of Harnam Dhumma, Randhave Wale etc have all shown their true colours of how people go back on their word and prefer to take the benefits of working closely with corrupt governments like that of Badal. Then we have Jasbir Rode who I once respected? What happened to him? He is now working openly and closely with the Akali Dal of Prakash Singh Badal!!! He has shown his true colours as well and only God knows what has been happening behind the scenes all these years with these traitors to the Panth. It is saddening to see what has happened. Dhadrian Wale did good by rejecting Badals SGPC seats and staying away from the corruption that has shown its colours in the so-called leadership of Sant Samaj. Hope he stays away from them. I think Dhadrian Wale says in that diwan that the Jathedar is in the UK and the jathebandia and gurdwara's need to speak to him then and write letters. I wonder if any sikh organisation questions the Jathedar when he was in the UK? There is no doubt everyone is aware that the Jathedar is a puppet of Badal, but there will be no harm in him issuing such a Hukamnama as it is nothing political, in fact, it will make history for him and the "balle balle" will be for the Jathedar without any hassle whatsoever, so he should have no problem in it and neither should his masters like Badal. At least it will stop the beadbi issue (or go a very long way in doing so at least) and this is all that we Sikhs want. Should work hopefully, Jathedar gets "balle balle" free of charge lol!!! My opinions on Baba Baljit Singh Dadu Wale have changed from a few months ago. He has been heavily involved in creating the new international panthic dal with the backing of shady characters like Raghbir Singh of uk (ex worker of Awaze Kaum) and the well known Jasbir Rode who has recently openly joined forces with Badal after 20 years of (pretending?) to be an enemy of Badal and Indian Government. What was the need for the international panthic dal when there are so many jathebandia doing good work out there already? This was an obvious move to create more splits and friction. Dadu Sahib Wale is still 100% with Sant Samaj as he is 100% with Jasbir Rode who is 100% with Badal, it is all one big chain all linked together. There is corruption everywhere. Those who are doing good shine in the panth anyway, the fakes are just interested in getting their photos in the paper every week. Sorry to go a little off-topic.

This fight over Dastar Day is not doing the Panth any good at all!!! Those who want to go should go, those who don't want to, they don't have to. Simple. I can see where both sides are coming from, in particular the jathebandia, but there is not much that can be done now as it is too late and it seems from this topic and info that Mr Bal will not cancel, so there is no point creating such a big media hype about the controversy, it is just damaging the reputation of Sikhs to the wider community.

DEFINATELY!!! You must meet Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale at their Gurdwara in Punjab and listen to the Sangrand diwan at least but there are always regular diwans everywhere in India. I have been to Parmeshar dwar once recently and met Sant Ji a couple of times in the UK - they are the ULTIMATE! So young as well! I think their PURAATAN style parchar speaks for itself and so does the amrit sanchar. True brahmgyani with such a high avastha. All sants, the real ones anyway, are all worthy of satkar and a lot better than any of us. People have mentioned many in this thread. What you learn from them about sikhi you cannot learn from anywhere else. The true ones have the utmost respect for the king of kings Guru Granth Sahib Ji - that is one sign of a true brahmgiani as well.

If you go to a Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale diwan anywhere, there is Simran recited with THOUSANDS of people. Diwans can have sangat of up to 250,000 people sometimes in the really big samagams, but still even about 50,000 people in the smaller diwans. On Sangrand at the Gurdwara in Patiala where Sant Ranjit Singh lives they do Nitnem in the morning within thousands of people. Not sure about Sukhmani Sahib. You could also go to some PURAATAN sanstha where there is a lot of bani or samagams by AKJ where they do a lot of Simran and maybe Taksali nitnem events in Punjab. But have to say that Dhadrian Wale diwans are the ULTIMATE for sangat and simran and katha and everything SIKHI!

I believe Sant Ji are in Italy now for a week or two for parchar, Amrit Bani were broadcasting a live diwan from there earlier and they were saying how it is the third diwan in Italy for the day - 3 diwans a day!!! PANTHIC SEWA or what hey? I have the utmost respect for Sant Ji and their PURAATAN type parchar.

As long as the other channel does not have messed up anti panthic views and both channels do not fight and play politics to disrupt any chance of ekta, then I see no reason why there shouldn't be another Sikh channel - the more PANTHIC and PURAATAN type views parchaar happening the better! As long as both are PANTHIC though!

GOOD POST Singh# - I 100% agree with you, but sometimes the issues are so extreme where black is attempted to be made white and white into black. Sometimes, the bad must be pointed out from the good if it is so clear. Take the Darshan Laal issue as an example or Babbu or doing nindya of certain Sants who obviously don't deserve it, or Dasam Granth Sahib Ji??? Babbu Maan, commonly known as Baboon Maan (due to similar looks and characteristics) - sings dirty songs every day, takes drugs and alcohol, has ruined the lives of thousands of Sikh youth in Punjab and elsewhere with his filth, made a film called Hawayein on 1984 for publicity where the start was good but the rest was all biased against the jujharoo Singhs to make them all look bad, makes filthy videos, promotes anti Sikh and manmat ideas, sings looking like a Baboon in pubs and clubs and makes people dance with him - THEN he makes a so-called religious album which is controversial anyway - BUT THEN carries on exactly as before anyway! Should we give him a gold medal, treat him like some saviour of the Panth and call him good?

The Dhadrian Wale Sant Ji diwan was very good. But hope they do play the WHOLE diwan again very quickly on a weekend.

Everyone was so angry about Sant Ji's diwaan getting cut off when they were about to talk about 1978 and Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale. But Sikh Channel said it was because their contract was only until midnight in India and they have recorded the whole diwaan to play after. I hope it's in the weekend! IT WAS SO GOOD!
