  1. If it's not taking place in a Gurdwara, and Anand Karaj is not taking place , who cares ? Why make posts like this without full details ? First find out if any beadbi is being carried out, I.e: is an anand karaj ceremony taking place ?
  2. In other news following the beadbi and vandalism at the former Gravesend Gurdwara site carried out by the youth football team of the Gurdwara (all non Sikhs). Who also filmed themselves laughing and celebrating while they caused the damage and shared the footage on snapchat. The Gravesend Gurdwara commitee along with the Kent Police decided an appropriate punishment would be that the youths should issue an apology... That's it nothing else. No charges pressed... Ridiculous let off for blatant vandalism and disregard for property. Note the Gurdwara commitee originally tried to cover up this event and prevent it from becoming public knowledge. Probably because they were guilty of leaving Gutka sahibs and other materials in the building without proper care, many of these were thrown on the floor by the vandals and we're damaged. Pictures can be found online of the Gutka sahibs and other materials which were recovered from the building by sewadars. http://www.kentonline.co.uk/gravesend/news/teenage-temple-vandals-told-to-100944/
  3. It's a sad day when Singh can't even tie his nala properly . This is why Singhs have bana, kachera with a nala and a kamarkasa. So much for tyar bar tyar, this clown can't even stop his pyjama falling down.
  4. Get real you clowns... Your kidding yourselves if you think modi doesn't have a problem with Sikhs. Go and read what Hindu nationalism is. Modi belongs to a right wing fundamentalist Hindu group. Their objective is for all non Hindus in India to be converted to Hinduism.
  5. Why rely on the Gurdwaras ? Seek out the best teachers and go and learn from them. The Gurdwara management committees unfortunately are mostly not interested or are made up of freshies with no foresight or vision on what the community needs.
  6. Iodex one I've heard a few times before. College girls put iodex on bread and eat it for cheap nasha. This was an old story thoug. The sheer easy availability of hard drugs in Punjab now means there's no need for these other "make shift" nasha.
  7. The druggies in Punjab are not on cannabis that's a minor drug, they're all on nastier harder stuff like heroin, crack , cocaine, amphetamine, LSD, opium aka pheem. The ones that can't afford proper drugs are hooked on drugs meant for animals like horse tranquillisers etc. Dodgy pind doctors also sell synthetic drugs to amlis to get rich quick greedy fools.
  8. Mass and muscle has nothing to do with being an effective fighter. Skill, technique, agilty speed wins every time. A wrestler vs an eskrima guy in a weapons scenario not even a contest. The wrestler gets cut to shreds before he can lift an arm up.
  9. There's nothing wrong with wrestling or grappling , ground work is a very useful skill to have in your repertoire. It's just not very useful in battlefield situations. You know Singhs and their enemies wore chainmail right, and armoured plates. How would you wrestle with chainmail on ? Or jump around like gatka baaj do with a 20 kg khanda.
  10. How exactly will kushti help you when you've been disarmed or lost your weaponry ? Without knowledge of range, striking , disarming etc. This is why eskrima has an unarmed version called panantukan which handles open hand combat against bladed weaponry. Also why the Russians have systema, the Israelis have krav maga. Having physical strength and size like wrestlers is not a good attribute for martial artists, being flexible and fast is more useful. A body builder physique is not advantageous. Anyway back on point shaheedi degh. Yes cannabis in certain quantities has medicinal and health benefits, yes nihang Singh Khalsa did use it in historical times. Just as they jhatkad and consumed goats.
  11. Leamington Gurdwara is not the only rebel Gurdwara still carrying out sham anand karaj ceremonies, there are still others. Hounslow Alice way, is another one...
  12. It seems you have a fascination with Nidar, since you keep mentioning him. From the clown gatka demos I have seen with silly stunts on tv performance shows like bir Khalsa or whatever they were called and all the gatka demos I've ever seen on not convinced at all, there just ritualistic co ordinate bhangra dancers. Hence my view is that learning it is a waste of time . Your better if learning silat, Kali, eskrima which all cover edged bladed weapons in a much more effective manner. What's the unarmed system in gatka called ? What do they do if they get disarmed ,?? Exactly they have no unarmed system of combat therefore it's an incomplete art cannot be used on the battlefield..
  13. Have a read of the below link : http://tisarpanth.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/shardai-akalis-ally.html?m=1 Also have a good read of suraj prakash and panth prakash as well as accounts from the British which confirm the usage of cannabis aka sukha aka sukhnidaan amongst the Khalsa fauj. There is also a video on YouTube by Chardikalah jatha explaining the 5 leaf recipe recipe and it's origins. There are lots of examples of historical paintings where you will see nihangs Singhs using a salotar to do "ruggarah" grinding the cannabis leaves to make sukha.
  14. Very soon the pro vegetarian anti jhatka anti Sukh nidaan modern era post Anglo Sikh wars non authentic jathas will arrive on this thread to vigorously deny Sikhs ever used cannabis and poppy seeds.... They will be most angry with they're blunt kirpanas, they may even attempt to hunt you down for suggesting Sikhs ever partook in such activities...they may even try and beat you up with their spinning in the air coordinated bhangra stick dance aka gatka
  15. Admin need to delete all the off topic posts on this thread, nobody cares about your superiority complex or French. What has that got to do With the actual topic off non Sikh security hired at Leamington Gurdwara By the committee to cover up sham inter faith anand karaj ceremonies ?
  16. Leamington Gurdwara cost a lot on lot of money to build, sangat put in some huge donations. The remaining money is loaned from the bank. Like a lot of buddhay old generation Uk Gurdwara committes in the UK unfortunately they are not very savvy and skilled when it comes to ideas. They're only idea to raise money to cover loans is interfaith marriages and booze up party halls...
  17. Leamington Gurdwara commitee and others tried to form a splinter group recently and back track on the agreement Uk Gurdwaras made with the youth and Sikh Council Uk, that interfaith marriages would no longer be allowed in Uk Gurdwaras . This group were interviews on Sikh channel a few months ago. The youth groups agreed to stop protests for a Sikh month period as the Gurdwaras had already taken payments for wedding bookings. They agreed no further interfaith marriages would be booked. The 6 month period has now passed. Leamington Gurdwara hires these outside security firms when they are carrying out inter faith marriages to prevent protestors from stopping the weddings. This is also the Gurdwara where the committee wanted to build a party hall on-site for booze up parties...
  18. The 5th Takht was a political ploy by the SGPC mahants to undermine the authority and position of Buddha Dal. The anti panthic SGPC and it's control over Sikh institutions is a direct result of the short sighted British backed Singh Sabha crew thinking that the voting system is better than the traditional Khalsa system of selection.
  19. Why are Sikh channel and Sikh federation campaigning so hard for Sikhs to vote to remain in the UK? See the recent Sikh channel press release and Sikh feds Twitter page. Personally I think the business people involved in "Falsely" claiming to represent the Sikh community are scared at losing their cheap EU labour.
  20. Did anyone watch Reggie Yates programme on the BBC not so long ago called extreme Uk About Gays in the UK . Anyway in the programme he went to w night club in London on a gay afro Caribbean night. He mentioned upstairs in the same club there was a gay desi night going on, but they wouldn't let him film it. While he was talking a Singh with a dastaar and beard walked past him in the club. Reggie Yates actually stopped talking and said something like "there's a Sikh Guy in here who just walked past". There's also a gay night club in Birmingham called DV8 who apparently do a desi night once a month. Although I hear a lot of straight people also go there, I've heard the stories of Singhs wearing dastaars kissing in the club etc.. Should we be surprised? This is kaljug. There are probably lots of gay sardars who due to family, community scrutiny hide their actual sexuality...
  21. From what I hear of the Luton case, was the the case not dropped ? I.E he was never convicted ? That case was heavily doctored in terms of what the Sikh community was told, i.e: they never told the community that the attacker was known to the girl, and was actually her boyfriend ,it should have read "another Punjabi bimbo here herself into a situation, then cries to the Community she turned her back on help, when caught out". I also hear she was with him after the case, but this might just be hearsay... The protest turned out to be pretty pointless... They should have carried out a Shere Punjab brand of justice... They knew who the perpetrators were
  22. Why would you need an automatic weapon to take on a fat guy with a stick and a couple of other Street clowns ??Knowledge of unarmed combat and maybe edged weapons and salotar would have been enough. These guys are clowns ,if Singh would smashed the first guy out that came near him the others would have ran away. It is true though, these opportunists pick on the weak and easy targets. Therefore don't look weak, build your physique, walk with confidence , don't go into areas where you know you might run into trouble. Learn the fighting arts carry shasters and be knowledgeable..in their usage.
  23. It's not justice until the people responsible are tried and punished for their crimes. Such is the scale of the cover up I don't see it happening. UK law allows rogue police officers to simply retire and avoid any legal action against them. How often have you seen the police and people in power ever held accountable. How many police officers and social workers or council bosses have been found guilty of failing Rotherham grooming victims and allowing the abuse to continue ? Despite evidence of a huge cover up ? How far has the enquiry into British involvement in the 1984 harmandar sahib attack/blue star gotten to ? Nowhere it's been white washed and covered up.
  24. They probably have not paid their content provider to maintain the streaming service or have had a fall out with their IT guys who maintain the service. They definitely have enough money, take the sangat matrimonial website for example thousands of members being charged £75 a year. Ching ching all the way to the bank ..
  25. People misunderstand the usage of sukha/shaheedi degh in purataan times you couldn't go to the pharmacy and buy a pack of paracetamol or nurofen. Yes there is misuse the days of sukhnidaan with excessive amounts of cannabis which is purely for nasha, this needs to be addressed. There are however certain segments of the panth whom for some strange reason seen to be hell bent on distorting and rewriting Khalsa Puratan history. Puratan Singhs were jhatka eating, sukha/cannabis using nihangs .... Get over it . The evidence is there from Puratan texts, oral history go and speak to the jathedars or elders within any Puratan samprada they will confirm this.
