i think you need to calm down. Thats not PTC it music india or something. The contract for darbar sahib is finished with zee tv. And ptc have the rights but they dont have a channel prepared in the uk, yet. So in the mean time they are thankfully playing it on some third party channel that has welcomd the short term contract, until ptc set themselves up here in the uk. Personally its good for the wider audience to get anand and darshan, and if the manmukh wants to watch bollywood after, thats his choice not yours, we should consider ourselves lucky enough to get darshan through this channel.

The scary thing is that the amount of effort they are putting in to slander the event, why if you don't agreewith it don't go, like some people don't agreewith 84 they don't go to protest either, but they don't go to the extent of slandering the event. While I understand your frustration that so called leaders and jathe were slandered, it wasn't as if sangat was not doing it either. In fact they started it off. They thought we will bring big names down in terms of jathebandiya and get them to tell the sangat we are nit with dastaar day and sikh channel should have approached us first etc etc. After a few days of bashing sikh channel live on air, trust ive been watching, sikh channel have decided to retaliate. I think the jathe and so called leaders found out really what people think of them and they felt hurt by that, why? Because maybe people are fed up with jathe and committees and leaders because all they are remembered for are causing trouble and splitting up the panth with their own views and opinions. And this dday is a classic example of what jathe and leaders are about because they are not getting recognized for it they go agianst it. It's all politics and the average sikh gets confused at what do and say. Before you say that the members form sikh channel that day are badal fans take a closer look at joga and co they are fans aswell, they're all fans both sides. As fir the youth stance I know alot of youth from the midlands are preparing thier own coaches with the sangat help and support and no matter what you do and say DDay is going ahead it's gonna be a success with mahraaj ang sang.

So far what I have learnt through this mess is that scuk and sfuk are the leaders of our panth and we have to obey what they say. Ok we do need so form of leadership. But like ruling parties in any government, everybody has a term of leadership then the other party wins and so forth. Scuk are new on the scene that have alot to do before they establish themselves as a genuine party that can do things for the panth as half the sikh community dont believe or recognise them. Sfuk have been around so long they're getting stale. They have done probably alot underground or in the background but the fact is we still ain't got justice for 84, we still ain't got khalistan, we have identity issues, we have 5k issues we have meat and alcohol issues in the Gurughars and the list goes on.... My point is our leaders and jathe have worked Hard but havent really achieved anything significant unless you guys can enlighten me. What's wrong people getting up from the own backsides and doing something ? Well sikh channel have and looks were it got them. If the people against were really Sikhs or cared about panth they would feel we need to join them and not to make the community look stupid on the day with mixed messages to the authorities and next time we should cooperate and work together. Firstly singh211, I can't comment on something that I haven't seen wether it's for or against. Secondly there was more than one thread started about sangat tv jealousy or actions over the past week the admins locked the others ones and merged intoi mine and 50 plus replies speak for themselves. Thirdly if your going to all these private meetings with these jathe and prabsndaks your either one of them or also a sangat tv chela. It's singhs like you today who don't give a sh€t about the panth because " it's not germany beadbi is happening it's in india" attitude to why the panth is in a state. Most you german singhs are the ones that ran when 84 was happening so for all I care stay in germany and keep your noses out o the panthc business because if your not gonna participate then keep quiet. Please don't seperate rana from sangat tv they are one and the same, any tv channels viiews have to come through the presenter, but only if the presenter agrees with them, all what's happening is happening through the trustees go ahead, and if you think that rana is dirty then you'll be shocked or may be not, about the trustees, earlier I found out that they tried to force sant ranjit singh to cancel a programme so that he would only attend their anniversary programme all day, so much for it being the sangats channel.
