Well I think that if you dont go to a school where there are Sikhs then it might be difficult to wear the Bana to school. Like I couldn't imagine myself going to school in full bana, where there are so many ignorant people who wouldn't understand it. But if I had lived in a Majority Sikh area, then YEAH I would want to wear the bana everyday

I can totally relate to this when my mom told me to stop listening to kathas until school was over. I wasnt doing that good in school, and now I have a 4.0 GPA so my mom is pretty chill now. Except recently my mom asked me if i had found a GurSikh boyfriend who is making me change my lifestyle (which is a lie) until my grandma yelled at her. Well all I can say is Waheguru Ji always takes pariksha of his devotees.

You need to wakeup why do you think these Pakis are going out with the Sikh women ( who are blind) its to have sex with them or to convert them. Just because you have not heard of someone converting does not mean it will not happen or has happened. I ask all my Sikh brothers and sisters in America and Canada to be more proactive and become aware of these cases, and stop this problems before they occur. Just take the UK as an example. I think they do it because it "shapes" their face. Muslim women aren't allowed to do their eyebrows either because it will make them look "attractive" so maybe the reason why Sikh bibya do it is because it'll make them feel more attractive. I'm not sure why an Amritdhari bibi would do it. Its like take Amrit and stay in rehet or dont take it at all. This lady who is an Amritdhari told me that she has "Khula Amrit" where as she was taking Amrit she said that she wouldnt follow rehet properly. She told me you can take "Khula Amrit" and tell Guru Ji that you wont follow all of his rehet and you dont even have to pesh for anything. I laughed at this concept but I think this is why some Bibi's do it and justify it.

Personally I haven't heard of any cases of conversion in America but I know a lot of girls who have had Muslim boyfriends because they're "better looking." Another case that is common here is a Sikh girl will go out with a Sikh boy who has kes and eventually make him cut his kes. So many problems with youth today. Without proper knowledge we are going no where. Kaljug is truly kicking in.

I hope people dont get misled by watching something like this. Someone who doesnt have much background knowledge and is just trying to learn more about Sikhi could really go astray after watching this.

People who slander Sants like this, maybe they should try to reach that stage first and then can judge other people. A little bit off topic : Which Sant Ji refused to cut their hair for surgery and prefered death after an accident? Was it Sant Kartar Singh Ji Bhinderanwale?

edit- You can't really say a homosexual can or can't be a saint, what grounds do you have for this? The reason why I say that a homosexual cannot become a saint is because we as humans and as Sikhs need to fight the 5 vices. I dont think anyone has the right to judge anyone else, but one of the 5 vices is Lust. When a homosexual decides to have a relationship with another homosexual then its all Lust/Kaam. If someone who is a homosexual but concentrates on Waheguru and the teachings of the Guru and doesnt let Lustful forces take him/her over then yes they can become Saints. Since I dont really know a lot in depth about this topic, this is what I think from the basics.

Well personaly I think homosexuality is against Sikhi. Well we dont cut our hair because Waheguru Ji made us this way and we dont want to cut our hair and change the roop he has given us. We believe that every hair is there for a purpose. We are also born with a Sex, either male or female. So by becoming a homosexual we are going against Nature and God. My personal views. Waheguru! This is so inspiring. I used to wake up at Amritvehla everyday and then I got lazy and stopped. Then I decided to start again but I just couldnt. I would wake up at like 6:30 or something and realize that I missed Amritvehla. One day, my mom told me to wash her clothes, I decided to put an Alarm on my phone named "Laundry" set to 3:30 pm because I was out of the house when she told me and I was sure I would forget about it. The alarm rang at 3:30 pm and I recall deleting it from my phone. At night I did ardas and went to sleep. I didnt even set my alarm to Amritvehla hours and suddenly in the middle of the night my phone starts ringing loudly. I ran outside to the living room because I had left my phone there the previous night and I didnt want the phone to wake everyone up. And when I saw the time it was 3:30 am, and the name was "Laundry." I was shocked. It was Guru Ji's way of telling me to wake up. I never told anyone but my grandma and she agreed that it was a way of Guru Ji's kirpa. It is true you take one step toward Guru Ji and he takes several steps towards you.
