  1. Baba Jarnail Singh Ji attained Shaheedee in June of 1984. His Shaheedee has been accepted by Sri Akal Takht Sahib, and by all active Kharkoo organizations (Babbar Khalsa, Bhinderanwale Tigers Force, Khalistan Liberation Force, Khalistan Commando Force), including Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochahal. There is nothing wrong with calling Baba Jarnail Singh Ji a Shaheed - as he has earned it. On the other hand, denying his Shaheedee is meaningless and petty.
  2. SIKH CHANNEL (UK) TURNS ITS BACK ON SIKH COMMUNITY http://www.panthic.org/articles/5358
  3. Yes, Baba "GoliMaro" jee, You are right, while her dear guru was hanging around with theses babays, the Sadhvi must have been visiting her Durga worshiping UK Nangs. I assume you think the Apollo moon landing video is also fake, and Bin Laden is still alive.
  4. "GoliMaro" jee, There is more than what meets the eye in both of those videos. I would not be too hasty and blame things on video manipulation. I assume more videos will be coming out from both sides of this controversy and so will the skeletons in their closets. This was not a 10 minute event, as Panthic.org states, the videos clips were recorded during different times at the nimala home and everyone was present there. I see the guru of the sadhvi you called a 'nutcase woman' clearly sitting next to the Sikh babas. This swami guru guy seems to be with her everywhere, he is in many of those RSS rallies where she is threatening and spewing hate against minorities who mess with India. If he is a man of god he would not allow her to spew all that poison against others. It is clear all these holy people are used by government agencies. They criticize things only upon government agencies request, the rest of the time they stay silent - whether it be mass rapes of women, children, or burning of innocent babies. These Sikh babas have no reason to be in the company of these dangerous elements. If they did then like Baba Nanak they should have called a spade a spade and told the Sawami and the sadhvi to stop spewing hate against minorities. If they are not willing to stand up for humanity and "sabat da bhalla" everyone keeps parroting the they have no business being Sikh parcharics. You can keep defending them all you want, but the truth will come out. Some RSS/VHP information on the Swami, clearly indicating that he is intimately involved with right-wing Hindu miltants and they consider him their guru: http://vhp.org/vhp-a...arma-sansad-10/ The Session was inaugurated by lighting a lamp at the benign hands of Yug-Purush Swami Paramanand Maharaj. Speaking on the occasion, Vishwa Hindu Parishad General Secretary Parveen Togadia rejected the idea of a mosque at the site and said a temple will be built there with the blessings of saints. http://www.indiandef...299/index5.html "With the blessings of saints, Ram Temple will be constructed in Ayodhya and mosque is not acceptable," he said. He also demanded a total ban on cow slaughter. VHP International President Ashok Singhal, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi [ Images ], MP Navjot Singh Sidhu, were among others who complimented Swami Paramanand on the occasion. Modi said, "Guru-shishya parampara established by Swami Ram Krishna Paramhans and Swami Vivekananda is being kept up by Yug Purus Swami Paramananad Maharaj and Sadhwi Ritambhara." Swami Paramanand is playing a vital role in inspiring the youth towards spirituality, he said. "The land of Ram Janam Bhumi cannot be divided and the Mandir movement will reach its conclusion only with the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya," the RSS chief said at a function in Vrindavan to mark the 75th birth anniversary of Yug Purush Swami Paramanand Maharaj.

  6. khalistan_zindabaad ji, what seems to be problem here? It is clear that Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, Baba Kartar Singh Ji, and Sant Jarnail Singh Ji also believed it was wrong to mix Hindu Aartee rituals with the recitation of the Bani known as Aaartee. Are you stating that views of these Gurmukhs are the sole property of the Taksal, and no one else can reference them? Either you can agree with this sanatan ritual or disagree. We need to learn to separate fact from fiction. It is no secret that UK and Canadian Taksali youth are being brainwashed by the Sanatanist UK Nihangs. There are plenty of photos on the Net of Nihangs and Taksalis performing this Sanatanist ritual. This is something very new, it was never done in the past. Taksali Singhs of the past never participated in these rituals. Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, Baba Kartar Singh Ji's bachans are proof that these rituals are off-limits to Sikhs, so why are the Taksali youth following this Sanatani bandwangon? Similarly, Nihang Santa Sinh was an enemy of the Panth who openly ridiculed Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji. Many modern Taksali youth now revere him just because he believed in Sri Dasam Granth. Truth belongs to the Almighty, let's learn not to suppress it, but to share it so we can all learn from it.
  7. http://www.panthic.org/articles/5342 PUNE, MAHARASHTRA (KP) - In a desperate bid to seek attention Ragi Darshan Sinh, the heretical former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has now began to question the sacred 'Bhagat Bani' enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and also questioned certain passages of the daily Sikh ardaas. Disturbingly, Ragi is orchestrating all these attacks against the Sikh Scriptures while under the protection of security guards, and commandos being provided to him by various agencies and anti-Sikh outfits. Ragi Darshan Sinh, who was ex-communicated from the Khalsa Panth in 2010 for challenging Sri Akal Takht Sahib's authority, was recently invited to Pune, Maharashtra, and Fresno, California by like minded heretics. He has continued to spew venom filled rhetoric against, not only against Sri Dasam Bani, but also questioned the sacred verses of Bhagat Namdev Ji's Bani, and called the mention of Sri Amritsar Sahib in the daily Sikh Ardaas a monetary based conspiracy.... (more)
  8. The sky is falling.......the sky is falling..... The public should follow Gurmat because it is Guru's Hukam. No one should be "frightened" into following Gurmat. The tactic of Gurmat is not hype and fright, but realization. Total world population is less than 7 billion as of most estimates, and not what he stated.
  9. Although this was a noble attempt to illustrate the jiwan of a Panthic Shaheed, it was not necessary for the author to tarnish the name of another. If the author is not sure of the facts he needs to speak directly to the family of the great Shaheed he indirectly maligns. The article stated: "It was due to Babaji’s statement that honour of Bhai Sukhdev Singh was saved ..." The author should note that our honor is in the hands of Akal Purakh Himself, not other human beings. Only Akal Purakh can save another's honor. GOI has tried to tarnish the character of not only Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar, but also of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji, Jathedar Gurjant Singh BudhSinghvala, and many others. In fact, questions the character of Baba Manochahal have been raised by none other than those who disagreed with him on the Shaheedi of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji. (Baba Manochahal along with Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar, Jathedar Gurjant Singh BudhSinghvala, and other Kharkoo Jathedars firmly believed that Sant Jarnail Singh Ji attained Shaheedee in June 1984.) It seems attempts to tarnish these great Sikh Generals, are still ongoing. ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਮੱਤ ਬਖਸ਼ਣ...

  11. That is good news. DSGMC has always been confused about Sri Dasam Bani. In the past they have criticized Sri Dasam Bani, yet is written on walls and gates of many historic Delhi Gurdwaras, and verses from Bachitar Nakat Bani pertaining to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib are read daily during Amritvela parkash. Also, the official DSGMC magazine publishes lot of articles citing Sri Dasam Bani verses. They seem very confused.

  14. The terms "Nihang Singh" and "Akali Singh" have traditionally been used interchangeably, so I don't quite understand why Brahm Dev ji makes a distinction. I have never seen any reference anywhere where it states that these 6 or actually 5 groups are required for a "Sarbat Khalsa". Today if a Sarbat Khalsa was called, to be valid, it would have to include every Panthic organization that accepts Sri Akal Takht Sahib's authority, not just the above named groups.
  15. Bhai Pinderpal Singh Ji attended the Sikh Missionary College in Ropar before spending time at Jawaddi Kalan. The Ropar college is independently run, but has similar curriculum to the Shaheed Sikh Missionary College in Amritsar operated by the SGPC.
  16. Of course, Fareedkotee teeka was NOT written by Brahmins, but by Nirmala scholars with some possible Udasi influence. Yes it is accepted by the Panth as valuable scripture, but this does not mean it is the final word or it is100% accurate. Just like other teekas (Prof, Sahib Singh Ji, Harbans Singh Ji, Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji) are all accepted, but not considered the final word or validated to be 100% accurate - since Gurbani is Agaadh-Bodh. Anyway, the original topic was about Fareedkotee teeka and Prof. Gurmukh Singh Ji, and not about Jeonvala and missionaries. Let's not digress.
  17. GPS Ji, I have no idea what "Singh Sabha Canada" has written, nor do I use them for reference. What I stated is a pretty well known fact that Prof. Gurmukh Singh decided to NOT participate with the compilation of the Fareedkoti teeka due to the Vedantic angle being presented by the other Gianis. Here is a short excerpt from Jathedar Kartar Singh Jhabbar's biography that also details this same incident: "Differences had cropped up in the Amritsar Singh Sabha on the point of Baba Khem Singh Bedi sitting with a cushion in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib. Kanwar Bikram Singh and Bhai Gurmukh Singh objected to this practice. This led to opposition against Bhai Gurmukh Singh. During this period, Maharaja Faridkot arranged translation of Guru Granth Sahib by Mahant Sumer Singh of Patna Sahib. The Mahant would interpret Gurbani in the hall. On hearing Gurbani explanation, Bhai Gurmukh Singh found it based on pristine Hindu tradition which was against Gurmat and requested the Maharaja not to have it done by the Mahant, for he found the latter incapable of understanding Gurbani." (Jathedar Bhai Kartar Singh Jhabbar -- The Life and Times, by : Bhai Narayan Singh MA, Published by : Dharam Parchar Committee, SGPC) There are others that mention it, I don't have the references in front of me. I do know 'Punjab deean Leharaan' also mentions this exact incident, but most importantly the original records of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Lahore also contain chronicle this incident. Also, I did not state anything about any teeka during maharaja Ranjit Singh's reign - I just stated that Bhai Vir Singh Ji indicates in his book that interpretations given by Gianis during that time were of Santanist/Vedantic nature. There was plenty of manmat that was going on during maharaja Ranjit Singh's reign, please understand that Akali Phoola Singh Ji was not at Akal Bunga all of the time, nor did he control the manat that occured in Ranjit Singh's palaces. There was a concerted effort by the Dogras and others to keep Akali Phoola Singh Ji and Hari Singh Nalwa at a distance from maharaja Ranjit Singh. That is one reason so much manmat flowed in the royal palaces and other centers of raj. We can talk about that at a later time. One of the darkest times for Sikhi was after maharaja Ranjit Singh's demise, in terms of loss of Grumat, rehat, and personal character of Gurdwara caretakers. It did not happen overnight. The Vedantic images painted across the Sri Dabar Sahib complex and the Brahamic rituals that began to crop up at Sikh religious centers are a testament to that era.
  18. It was Bhai Gurmukh Singh Ji of Singh Sabha Lahore, not Giani Ditt Singh Ji. The Fareedkoti Teeka was compiled under the aegis of Raja Bikram Singh of Fareedkot and Baba Khem Singh Bedi. Baba Khem Singh Bedi was a pro-Sanatanist who sat on a gaddi (dias) parallel to Sri Guru Granth Sahib, as he traced his family lineage to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Raja Bikram Singh of Fareedkot was a admirer of Baba Khem Singh Bedi, and sponsored the compilation of what is now known as "Fareedkoti Teeka". At an assembly organized by Raja Bikram Singh, several Singh Sabha Lahore sewadars, including Bhai Gurmukh Singh came. Mahant Sumer Singh of Patna Sahib, Giani Badan Singh Nirmala and many other Gianis of that time were also present at that meeting. Upon hearing the Sanatanist/Vedantic slant that was being presented by the rest of the Gianis, Bhai Gurmukh Singh became discouraged and told Raja Bikram Singh that these Gianis will not be able to provide the proper interpretation of Gurbani and are not worthy of compiling a teeka. Bhai Gurmukh Singh and the Singh Sabha Lahore sevadars refused to participate in the compilation of this teeka. The above incident is documented in the records of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Lahore, and printed in various books on the Singh Sabha Movement. Bhai Vir Singh Ji's reference book "Sri Guru Granth Kosh" also states that the interpretations of Gurbani had taken a Sanatanist flavor during the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Despite the Vedantic leaning interpretations, the endeavor taken by the Fareedkoti Teeka compilersis still appreciated by Sikh scholars.
  19. We should avoid lumping everyone who has studied at a missionary college into a single minded group. Not all missionary colleges are anti-Panthic. We need to differentiate REAL Missionaries from the modern false ones. Original missionary colleges such as the Shaheed Missionary College in Amritsar (run by the SGPC) and the Missionary College in Ropar have produced many good parchariks. These colleges do not have an anti-Dasam Bani agenda like the Ghagga's Gurmat Gian Missionary College in Ludhiana, and Surjit Sinh's Missionary College in Delhi. Bhai Pinderpal Singh and Bhai Sahib Singh of Ludhaina are just two examples of successful pro-Gurmat kathawachaks who are products of the REAL missionary colleges. Anti-Panthic personalities such as Ghagga, Jachak, Surjit and others are actually PSUEDO-missionaries who are giving REAL missionary colleges a bad name.
  20. GPS Ji, since Punjab was under the control of the British, legally, BOTH of the Singhs Sabhas, had no option other than recognizing the British authority over Punjab. Singh Sabha Amritsar were no rebels, in order to join Singh Sabha Amritsar and complimentary Khalsa Divan under Khem Singh Bedi, one had to swear allegiance to the British. This is fully documented. As far as the British were concerned, a handful of people in Singh Sabha Amritsar believed in the "PIPE DREAM" of Dalip Singh's return. Singh Sabha Lahore viewed this as an impractical exercise that would cause more harm to the Panth and instead focused on stopping the direct threat by the Arya Samajis, and Christian missionaries, and ongoing Hinduization of the Sikh community. Just because Singh Sabha Lahor did not support the "PIPE DREAM" does not mean they were traitors. In fact, they were great visionaries, who though it was more important to fight the scourge of Brahamansim that had infected the Panth, and bring back Gurmat Rahit and philosophy. Rmember, Singh Sabha Lahore did 95% of the Sikhi parchar during the Singh Sabha movement. You may call GurSikhs such as Prof. Gurmukh Singh and Giani Ditt Singh Ji traitors, etc, but the Panth recognizes them as true heroes and scholars who stood against the Brahmanization of the Panth. Without them and their tireless efforts through the Singhs Sabha movement, Sikh would have continued to worship Hindu deities at Sri Dabar Sahib, and marry according to Bedi customs. Prof. Gurmukh Singh was a true Sikh scholar, whose sacrificed and persevered for the Panth. Scholars like Bhai Vir Singh, Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha, worked hand in hand with this gem, only they knew the real value of his "heera".
  21. Prof. Gurmukh Singh's excommunication was never accepted by the Panth. It was a political ploy by the Baba Khem Singh Bedi (pro-Sanatani Singh Sabha Amritsar) group to silence and limit the parchar by his associates who were known as "Singh Sabha Lahore." Being a direct decedent of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Khem Singh Bedi used to sit on a pedestal and his followers would bow to him like a guru. Even at Sri Darbar Sahib he would sit on a special cushion parallel to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Prof. Gurmukh Singh, Giani Ditt Singh and the rest of the Singh Sabha Lahore did not accept this, and challenged the pro-Sanatani Singh Sabha Amritsar on this practice. Khem Singh Bedi persuaded the masands and sarabrahs (caretakers hired by the British) to excommunicate Prof. Gurmukh Singh. The Panth never accepted the validity of the ex-communication. Gurmukhs such as Bhai Gurditt Singh, Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha, Bhai Vir Singh Ji, and the countless others continued to associate with Prof. Gurmukh Singh Ji, and never accept the validity of his ex-communication. Edicts from Sri Akal Takht Sahib must always be in accordance to Gurmat, and must be ratified or supported by the Panth, they can not be unanimously issued under political pressure or for personal grudge. Similar edicts have been issued against the freedom fighters aboard the KamaGata Maru, Babbar Akalis, and many others, but were never accepted by the Panth.

  23. I have no sympathy for the pro-Kala-Afghanis and others mentioned in this letter, but what proof does anyone have that this letter is authentic? It seems faked. It's sad that Sikhs have to resort to using such letters as ammo to defame each other. Why not just expose these people for what they are, rather than using these tactics? No too long ago, pro-Kala-Afghanis printed a similar letter by the RSS stating that many Panthic Singhs (who incidentally were promoting Sri Dasam Granth) were RSS agents. Agencies such as RAW don't issue such letters with everyone's name on it and divulge their "secret no." IDs, it is just too silly. Anyone can produce such a document with random numbers and names, I can print one stating members of this forum work for RAW. What weight would such a letter carry? Do you really think they are going to write the name of the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib as their crony and let such a letter leak out? Sad state of affairs.
