I don't think its as painful as it looks- she had a lot of natural cushioning on her. Acxtually I'm surprised she even managed to fall through the gap.

It is true if there is anyone with the drive to inspire new people into Sikhi, it is the 'Western Sikhs'. They know how lucky they are to heve been given this gift, while we are too busy taking it for granted, and hence this difference in actions.

I see Greek mythology as a primitive science devoid of facts. Rather than a science of facts, it is a science of understandings, and thus interpretations have been made of the world by the Ancient Greeks. In the absence of facts, such a science has found it a neccesity to rely on super-natural figures to explain things, hence the existence of mythological Greek Gods.

Sometimes we really do take these things for granted, especially in countries like the UK, where any institutional racism is inherently sneky and hidden in most cases. The article just serves to show us how lucky we really are.
