Vaheguru Ardaas goes out to the three Gursikhs and their families; I knew Harvinder Singh aka “Hevvi” quite well, he was like so full of energy and was brilliant at Gatka, he would be at the forefront whenever there was seva to be done, it’s a sad loss And also Satvir Singh The 1st and last time I saw him but can’t forget it, we drove to a local smagam together a few weeks ago, he had just received Amrit a couple of days beforehand, he was soooo boosted, literally vibrating, I could feel his new found love, it was so overwhelming, it brought tears to my eyes and left me tingling with goosebumps, such as amazing soul. The way he talked about youth and what he would like to see change and how his peers perceived him etc was just amazing to hear While it is a sad loss to the panth and especially the sangat of Wolverhampton, because there is no doubt in my mind that these guys would have gone on to reach greater heights in terms of seva etc, we have to accept Hukam, they came, they did what they were here to achieve, and now they have left us, let's pray that they are united with God, where they deserve to be.

:umm: Vaheguru samrath bakshash karn we can all try and make a difference, it may be a small one but can help in the long run for example my uncle is flying out to india in march to organise and pay for a wedding for a girl from a shaheeds family; we could do this for girls of poor backgrounds, its seva on our part, and a lift of a "burden" on her parents' also if i am blessed with baby girls i'm going to make suchhh a big hoo-hah, give mittha to everyone and anyone, buy presents for all the extended family members even, do everything they do each time a boy is born! it may sound dopey lol but at least it will help in changing peoples perceptions!! everytime some one in our family has a girl all the auntia are like "aw chalo koi na next time kush khabri au gi ta vadayiaan deva geh" wt*??!??!?! :lol: i remember when my mom was pregnant with my baby bro and she was like in hospital about to be induced and someone said if its a girl she can go back now

:umm: hehe soooo i thought we could share any desi remedies that have been passed onto us! or most likely forced down our gobs especially with the winter fast approaching!! beats going to the docs hey!! well as some of you may know i have bust my ankle; and i am in paaaaaaaain sooo a few remedies i have been told to try ... make a huuuuuuuge roti, like a thick one, cook it partly on one side, and wrap it around the ankle; put some haldi on the ankle; add salt to warm water and soak your foot in it rub vix onto your ankle and the last one.....my dad just massaged oil into my foot and leg that's made from frying alive lizards!!! :D :'( :D he failed to tell me beforehandddd and thought it would be funnier to tell me later!! poor lizards!!! well at least i never had a lizard urinate on my hand hey _K_ :lol: oooo another famous desi thing - SOND i meannnn everytime u moan about something mom's like sond peela chungi aa
