  1. Why are people so against Bir Khalsa displaying the Indian flag?
  2. There is no 'Going to Hell' in Sikhism. Heaven and Hell are state of mind on Earth. Please stop frightening the kid.
  3. 'mona paath karda gurdware ch' Heaven forbid...
  4. Isn't there a higher award that could be bestowed upon this saviour of humanity?
  5. Hindu justice. 'An Indian person, frustrated by widespread corruption has broken the law, chi chi chi, I got an idea, lets express our sadness by rioting, looting, physical attacks etc against the fifth largest religion on Earth. THAT will teach the lawbreaker a lesson!' I can't wait to come across the next Hindu shoplifter.......
  6. Of course he looks like acting, Indians are nothing if not melodramatic! I blame Bollywood... But, his protest is valid.
  7. Absolute rubbish. This is one man standing up for himself, if you look at the reaction of the viewers you will see empathy. Like the Iraqi shoe thrower, he fights against tyranny the only way he knows how. To try and score cheap political points achieves nothing but undermines this brave man's stance.
  8. I don't feel they have gone far enough to properly recognise this saintly man's contribution to Sikhism, Punjab, India and indeed humanity in general. Why not have a bronze statue of the great man erected in the centre of the main cities of Punjab or if that proves too costly, we could mount one on a trailer and have it touring the state. The people deserve nothing less.
  9. Freemasons don't have any interest in Sikhi or indeed any religion in particular, membership to freemasonry only requires a belief in a supreme being. There are offshoots like Knights Templar which are Christian orders but none try to exert any influence on religions.
  10. I was speaking to them some time ago I asked them how much out of every pound donated went to the needy and they stopped talking. With all my heart I wish there was a Sikh charity that I could put my faith into.
  11. Just as TuheeTuhee says, my family are foregoing Christmas presents this year and are asking for cash instead and with what we have saved over the year, we are going to India and hopefully set up regular long term donations to aid as many as we can to improve their lives. I had originally thought of donating to a Sikh charity but I'm worried about what percentage of donation acually goes to the needy. It is the first time we are doing something like this and we are quite exited and the whole familly is involved so should be quite an experiance!
  12. You continue to confuse race with caste, are you doing it deliberately? With your attacks on Jatts and your personal attacks on me, you are goading me to breach the posting guidelines, this saddens me as I expect more from a Sikh. Just because Guru Nanak showed solidarity with low castes doesn't mean that he wanted you to hate all that weren't. But yes you have a far greater understanding of Sikhi than me, happy now?
  13. Is that your idea of debate? Thank you. Without freedom of thought there can be no such thing as wisdom, and no such thing as public liberty without freedom of speech; which is the right of every man as far as by it he does not hurt and control the right of another: and this is the only check it ought to suffer, and the only bounds it ought to know
  14. I am sure someone must have come up with this idea before now, but what about launching civil actions against these filth?
  15. It depends if you can be sure that the item was actually abandoned and not simply lost.
  16. All I can say to you brother is that if you want to change history, then do so with your own race, why do feel the need to change someone elses? We are happy and content with who we are and I pray that in time, you can be too.
  17. RSS Fascist. Is that your new buzz word for people that don't share your narrow viewpoint? You used the term four times in your short post, the nazis believed that if you repeat a lie often enough people would believe it to be true. I have never researched Sikh 'Castes' as they don't interest me, why if you people believe Jatt is just one of your castes, do you put so much effort into researching it? I am sorry that you people can't accept the fact that I believe my race to be different to yours, but that is my view and it is not at odds with the fact that I am a Sikh There are white and black Sikhs in the world, why don't you try telling them they are the same as you?
  18. All the more reason why people like you shouldn't concern yourselves with it then... How Jatts feel has nothing to do with anyone else, no-one is stopping you from doing a 'Put Chamara de' song, go for it bro. I don't want to offend anyone as I know how fragile the feelings of the admin of this site are, but constant attacks on Jatts are allowed on here.
  19. Exactly the same heritage as Sikh/Hindu Jatts. What they don't have is caste system obsessed neighbours that feel insecure and intimidated.
