  1. WJK WJF Could someone please explain to me the references to the soul bride in Gurbani? The english translation sometimes just don't do it for me. Ex. Saje ek, Eko prab thakur. In the english translation, it says "there is one bed, and one God". Sab sohagan, maneh ralia, ik dhevo raath morari. "all other soul brides celebrate and make merry; please bless me with one night of bliss" What did Guru mean by these references and other references to soul brides?
  2. WJK WJF, I have 300 dollars to buy whatever and I'd like to get Sikhi related things. Do you guys know any nice shirts/poster etc. you can recommend for me? Thanks WJK WJF
  3. You can contact them and ask directly Johnny
  4. Ah, whatever, this guy seems to barely believe in God. He only keeps his beard likely because of his parents. He says he used to be religious but stopped when he supposedly lost faith and decided to follow what was 'fun' for him. all his status updates are about girls. No need to promote him here.
  5. Why aren't there proper protests? Letters won't sway this corruption as well...
  6. Majority? No, same as for the guys, majority aren't Kesdhari, many are haircut and quite a few drink. It kinda makes me sick, calling them Sikh girls. Just call them brown girls. They don't deserve Sikh, just being born into a Punjabi family that goes to Gurdwara once a month doesn't make you a Sikh. Can we just call them brown girls?
  7. Lol, you put all your trust in the governments stories? You know in the 1970's, us tested biological weapons over their own city of Tampa bay, they tested drugs on inmates by giving them diseases first, and they hired ex nazis to work for them.
  8. Good place to start is here. Ill post short but im sure others will have longer posts than mine. When we began, we started by listening to Shabads. Try it out, type in Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji into YouTube, or look through RajKaregaKhalsa channel on youtube
  9. LOL, you don't need to bump right after you comment bro . Anyways, yeah, it's weird what happened, but one things for sure, the story were told is edited by the government. Little known side note too is that day after 9 11, 5 Israelis were found with a van full of explosives on a new jersey bridge. The US government planned things like this before in order to go to war. A 2005 investigation into the Gulf of Tonkin incident states that the incident never happened, though the US had it as their primary reason to go to war. In WW2, many governments informed the us of an impending Japanese attack, but the US let it happen so they could get public support to join the war effort. The US government had plans to attack their own civilians with planes and gunmen and blame it on Cuba so they could attack them during the Cokd War. They may have used the same tactics on 911
  10. Ive wondered about this too before. If someone kills another person, they may think it's alright to do so, but that means their brain wasn't set, so who are we really to punish them? God is the master judge, he decides what to do with us. I'm not saying we shouldn't punish people, like someone doing beadbi should be beheaded, I'm just saying how can we decide how much punishment someone should get if we don't know what they're thinking?
  11. Sorry, guess I wasn't clear, I meant that AFTER those people receive a bachan from a mahapursh saying they must do this paath for however many minutes a day, how many days would they have to keep doing that paath which is told to them in order to reach God themselves? Could it even be a year? Thank you
  12. Anyone please? It's real important to me.
  13. WJKK WJKF Just a quick question. You know how some people go to mahaprushes in India and they may receive a bachan from them about how much paath to do? Well, I was just wondering how long those people have to do that paath for to reach God? any stories along with an answer will be greatly appreciated, thanks WJKK WJKF
  14. WJK WJF I was wondering about the age that many saints come into brahmgian, and I don't really know too much about recent saints so I was hoping you all can help. It seems to me that age 40 is when many saints become saints, but I'm likely wrong. I know as children, many saints have experiences and are already blessed, but can you give me an average age for when those great ones like Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji, Sant Baba NAND Singh Ji, Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji, and Sant Baba Thakur Singh Ji achieved proper sainthood? Ps: is it just me or can we tell who's posting just by looking at their display pic because ppl don't seem to change it too much here :D
  15. WJK WJF We may know of the grip of Maya, but it's bliss is nothing to the Anand of God, so could you please try to describe the Godly bliss to me? Thanks , WJK WJF
  16. So Waheguru being sung in a rough voice by an Englishman to a hip-hop beat would give you the same Anand as Waheguru being sung in a Gurdwara by a Gursikh? PUH-LEASE!
  17. Look at the good. Tariq said positive things, and he even greeted WJK WJF near the end of the video at 11-ish minutes. I can't even tell what was the bad thing you were hinting at in the video?
  18. WJK WJF, There is a popular youtube show in the states, not sure if its as big in the UK. Well, the show used images of Sikhs and said they were Muslims protecting a mosque. Anybody with twitter, please tweet. You can tweet to the shows host, PhillyD, though he's less likely to see it due to his popularity. I'd suggest tweeting the shows editor, @matteatsmochi. Maybe something along the lines of what Jimmy Khaler wrote: http://twitter.com/?...ime/jimmykhaler or what Deep Singh wrote: http://twitter.com/?...ealtime/sikhill This is a golden opportunity to let ourselves be known, not only in the UK, but in the US as well. It takes 10 seconds to make an account. Make more than 1 even, we have to ask these guys to clear this issue up in the next episode.I know it says Sikhs at the side, but it says it after Muslims. People wont pay no mind to it.
  19. Earn more? LOL, what a joke, but let me tell you something, you're saying we should integrate because basically, we stand out. Well, that's fine, as it'll be fine if the door to Sachkhand is locked on you. There, we'll be in the majority, and no people like you and friciton will be there to bother us if you're not allowed in.
  20. Our personalities? Hah! He's not ours, Gursikhs dont follow the Godless. We look to God, ask our Gurus for help, praise our Sants, and honor our Shaheeds. Sant Thakur Singh Ji supported Sant Bhindranwale Ji, but apparently you know more. The Damdi Taksal was happy with Sant Bhindranwale Ji, and the first Mukhi of the Taksal was Baba Deep Singh Ji, and I'm sure he keeps a watchful eye on the Taksal and thus supported Sant Bhindranwale Ji, otherwise he wouldn't have let him become a Mukhi. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji supported Baba Deep Singh Ji, and the Guru was supported by God. Thus, Sant Bhindranwale Ji was approved by men of God. But that's fine, you praise friction. Beg him for help, and ask him for salvation. We however will keep under Gods Sanctuary, atleast He loves us back.
  21. Derbyspolice twitter says minor damage to pub being renovated into a Gurdwara
  22. Apparently it was the pub that was being converted into a Gurdwara, but maybe it was a good thing. Hear me out, should a place that ever housed alcohol and illegal actions and lustful thoughts and swearing ever be used to house the Supreme Granth, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj? Sometimes God does good things that we don't think of as good. No saroops were hurt, no people were hurt, just the process of the pub being converted was. BHUL CHUK MAAF JI I'm not condoning any attacks, just looking at this one from a positive perspective. Also, please ignore the above if it was NOT the pub that was attacked.
