Sorry i dont understand what you mean. Because, the Khalsa is a Strict way of life. Its enjoyable but its strict hence its distinct. Also, the Khalsa is an army, the Army of God hence the reason you pick up arms at the last resort. Hence Sikhs are born Warriors. when i was ill last, i was so bad that i cudnt get up outa bed but still had ishnaan even tho like evryone in the house said no!! Sikhi doesnt stop because we are ill, like fair enough if we strapped to the bed but still even then still keep as much as you can!! I had a singh doc and he goes jst keep on as normal, keep doing paath etc and try best for everything else. He said amrit vela is choice, whether or not u can actually get up. Like i said, i was really bad but i made amrit vela!! (mainly coz was throwin up so was till able to do amritvela!!) but yeh dnt slack it! I went to the Gurdwara and i felt soooo much better. when i got home again i felt crap again but when i went to see Guru Ji, just that 15min of his darshan jst made all pains go away!!! (i make a point of going to see him once a day so if i was bed ridden i still made the efforts to go). hope helped?

Those shastar are meant to have sharp tips. The purpose was if you have a decorated dhumala with shastar it scares the enemy on the battlefield. The way in which you arrange helps too! makes you look more fierce! Also the purpose of sharp points is use of under head stabbing, so like if you duck something and smash ur head under their chin, that shastar, nice and sharp, goes thru it!!!! so a nice BIG SHARP TEER goes best at the front!!! The other reason they arnt meant to throwing is coz they are mainly nakka, claws. therefore look at the design of them, they are hand held concealed weapons, used for close quarter combat. U can get balanced and sharp but if u do, go india and get custom made. I know people dnt like niddar but have a look at the nakka he has!! its GORGEOUS!!!!!! customer made, super sharp, balances and special blade design for maximum damage!!! The ones we get now, well they are designed for show unfortunatly... The panj shastar you put in ur kesh, they arnt there to use anymore, its Nihang Rehat to keep panj shastar in ur kesh therefore you do.
