Don't let this event make you give up until you have spoken to the Panj Piare. And don't forget. Kaam is only one of the five enimies. Don't forget you have to keep a look out for Krodh, Lohb, Moh, Hankaar too! They could manifest themselves out of Kaam. I've read that the 4 others begin with Kaam. Get some advice, put the situation right, get back on track/Amrit, and then carry on with your life!

If I was a Women (Kaur) I would be so offended by Hard Kaur (everything about her on every level is wrong). When you look at what the Kaurs did in Human History, and look at what that lady, who calls herself 'hard Kaur', has done the to reputation of the name 'Kaur' it's very very very hard not to feel very very Sad !

To answer your question a Sant must be a very high individual and very knowledgealbe in Sikhi - as you say. I don't know the exact level or line an individual has to cross to become a Sant. However, one thing I am certain of is, as far as Sikhi is concerned, before any one can be called a Sant they need to be an Amritdhari who follows full Rehit Maryada and lives for the sole purpose of joining Sikhs to Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj and no other individual who calls themselves a Guru. Any deviation from this would make that individual a deviant rahter than a Sant! As for the question, Who has past that level in Sikhi to be called a Sikh Sant... you would have to ask a more learned Sikh about that,

Veer Ji, I saw your documentary. Like some other Singh's and Kaur's you are doing a great seva. I think we need to listen to the Singhs and Kaurs who have been telling us for years that the Punjab is systematically being destroyed by the indian govt. I know you say don't blame the govt but only the indian govt can police the pesticide levels, or actually put ROs in once the villagers have paid them, rather than disappear with the money. Only the govt can give back a fair percentage of the tax they take from the Punjab back to the Punjab for hospitals and clinics. Only the indian govt can stop reward or promoting the corrupt politicians and police officers in the Punjab. If the Politicians and Police raise their game they can police things in the Punjab. Only the indian govt can fine the factories that pour toxic waste into the rivers that flow into the Punjab. I have been donating. The indian govt will only listen to the Sikhs, if we listen to the SIkhs who have the best interest of Punjab in their hearts. We have to acknowledge the Politics problem against the Punjab before we can start to address, the politics problem of the Punjab. Believe me I really don't want to say this because you'll say I'm playing politics, but the above is only about politics, that's what's killing the people of Punjab, the Politics. Like I say I don't want to say this because you'll say I'm going off topic, but, Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindrawale warned us about all of this. But we didn't listen. Did you know indra Gandhi started off the Pesticide Policy in the Punjab back in the70's. She allowed higher levels of pesticide to be used in the Punjab. This is her dream legacy coming true! All the Singhs and Kaurs advising other Sikhs to stay away from the EDL are absolutely right !!! If Sikhs are seen at any EDL marches then all the non-Sikhs will think Sikhs are racist. All our 11 Gurus spread the message of love for all of humanity. Any Sikhs who are thinking of going to an EDL march should sit down and just think of all the acts of bravery, courage and love the Gurus and Shaheeds have committed for the good of all of humanity. Once you have thought of this then image how silly you will look standing next to a bunch of racists. You will be rolling your great history in the dirt. Go and pray in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at the Gurdwara and ask with your conscience, 'Guru Ji, should I associate with the EDL? You'll get a resounding No!!! Remember you are a Sikh and you have the capability to protect yourself from Racist, without joining a bunch of racists. Don't unwittingly become the EDL's disciple, be the Guru's disciple! Kaljugi - is absolutely right! Most of the EDL are Nazi Racists who would gladly attack any coloured people if they thought that they could get away with it. The Sikhs are more than capable of protecting themselves, and it's community, by itself. If we follow Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's instruction we are more than protected. And as tax payers we are allowed to seek help from the law/police of this country. Do not attach yourself to the EDL unless, as Kuljugi says, you want to bring shame on the panth '!!!!

You not related to, Kwari suma aath (translated axe time 8) I do think you touch on a valid point because generalisation is not a good thing, as it does not acknowledge diversity. Sikhs were not allowed to list themselves on the Census as a separate group/ethnicity. This was important as the services central and local government provide are based on Census figures. Therefore no Sikh Pacific services would be considered as a result of the Census, by central or local government. Another time when generalisation would be bad is,For example, if Sikhs were more prone to cirrhosis of the liver from Alcoholism, and Muslims were more prone to Cancer from smoking, then it would be important to identify the particular group of people affected. , And, if a particular group of people were committing a disproportionate percentage of disrespectful acts towards women of a culture or religion different to their own, then it is important that the group is identified and that the public are made aware of that particular group of people. It may save other women from being disrespected. This would encourage the community leaders of that group to address the problem that was more prominent to their community. So you make a valid point. On a separate note all Sikhs should definitely disassociate themselves from the EDL. The EDL does have many right wing, Nazi racist that tag on to it. Those Nazis will come for other minorities once they have finished with the Muslims, or more likely, failed with the Muslims. Every culture and religion needs to be aware of all racists and Nazis. There are racists in every community and there is no community that is free from attack from these racist!

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Pyara Veer Ji, Please let me know which comments you would like me to remove from my posts above. I will happily remove them if it will benefit the Sangat that attends Dudley Gurdwara. My only aim is to make sure Sikh Children are given the best chance to stay in Sikhi and grow up to be good Sikhs. That is all Sikh Children..... regardless of caste, colour or creed. I have nothing against Dudley Gurdwara. When I say these people I am just referring to people who allow Alcohol and meat in Gurdware Halls/complexes, whoever they are. I think their innocent Children are as deserved of a Sikhi Jeevan as anyone elses children! With Alcohol and meat they are less likely to achieve this. When I pass a Amritdhari Singh who follows Guru Godind Singh's Maryada, I have nothing but the utmost respect for them, and that includes Ramgahrias - I look up to the Singh's/Kaur's Rehit Marayada - that's what makes them better people than me! Please let me know what you want me to edit/delete.

As you say this may seem like a little thing but obviously some anti-Sikh individual owns the account that is doing beadbi on Wikipedia of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's University/Jathabandi (and in turn doing beadbi of Guru Gobind Singh's Amritdhari Singh Mahaan Warrior Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji). How can we stop this individual discrediting the Taksal? Wikipedia is the single most widely used encyclopedia in the world, and some non-Sikh has hijacked it to discredit Sikhi (the Taksal). All around the world people are going to read lies about the Taksal on Wikipedia and think the Taksal is a bad organisation. I think we need an organised Sikh internet body or internet based SIkh Organisation to help us here. As Matheen says, lets try and contact as many Sikhs as possible to contact Wikipedia and get them to ban the liar who currently owns the account (please read into the lights', and Matheen's, posts above). Kaljugi - no Sikhs are endorsing any of those views. The non-sikh is just try give everybody the impression that he knows something about Sikhi. He is just listing the worst qualities he can think of generally, and attaching them to, or associating them to Sikhi. It's an old trick. He just wants to give people a false/bad view of Sikhi. (this liar is so transparent)

Dear Sikhs/Committee members of Dudley Gurdwara, I hear that you have done a great deal to help people on the path of Sikhi and done a great deal to help people remain in Sikhi. However, I humbly request that you do not allow any meat and alcohol in the Gurdwara Hall. Think of how you may be undoing the rest of your very positive hard work. I hope all the other Gursikhs come to your aid and help you keep the Gurdwara Financially strong so you can keep on supporting all Children. I would love for you to be able to hold your heads high within the community. Vaheguru bless for all the actions you have made with the best of intentions for SIkhi. I wish you a Gurdwara full of Gurmukh pyare in the years to come. Forgive me if I posted anything in anger previously.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Wikipedia had some lies posted onto it via an 'Article' posted by a non-sikh. A Singh corrected the Article a few days ago following the topic I posted below. However, some how the lies are back on Wikipedia. Is it possible for the same Singh (or another Amritdhari) to have another go at correcting Wikipedia's current Article on Damdami Taksal? It could be that the correct update posted by the Khalsa Singh a few days ago was reversed by Wikipedia due to the correct protocols not being followed (I can't say I know what those protocols are) Orignal Post below... Please note the misrepresentation on Wikipedia is not Wikipedia's fault. It's the fault of whoever posted the article to Wikipedia. Please read on.... Could anybody with a love for the taksal please look at the Wikipedia Article on Damdami Taksal. It seems to totally misrepresent the taksal saying it was not associated to, or initiated by, the Tenth Master Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Maharaaj. It refers to some conjecture put 'out there' by some individual called 'Oberoi' who almost tries to remove the taksal from history itself, by saying no Sikh work on religion, history, or society eludes to this body (he refers to the taksal as 'this body'). If there are any knowledgeable Sikhs out there who respect the taksal which Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Maharaaj entrusted to Mahan Warrior Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji, then please have a look at this article. Apparently it's just the 'world in general/anybody' that puts the information on Wikipedia. So if there are knowledgeable Sikhs out there, who are Techies too, then please re-write the article. There's an article on Sikhipedia which is truthful and seems to be much much more accurate and respectful. May be the Wikipedia Article should be much closer to the Sikhipedia Article. I'd change it myself but I just haven't got the knowledge on Sikhi like the taksali's have. So it's best a taksali changes it. This video is very confusing. At one point I thought the London Olympics 2012 had already started and the Track Cycling was on. Boy can he ride that bike. He was probably taking the daily takings to his bank account. The slow motion flick of his hair over his shoulder is very appealing.. I'm sold... I'm joining his dera. Was that other old con man drinking a pint in the background?

Thanks for letting me know. I am new to this site but if you know any Singh's who can correct the Wikipedia post please ask them to rectify the lies Mrs Oberio's partner in crime posted on to Wikipedia. We need some Singhs to get on to this pretty soon. Or a Sikh internet body.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, I haven't taken Amrit yet. But I have to say, going by my own experiences, the closest I have ever felt to being next to one of Guru Gobind Singh's Singhs, is, when I am in the presence of a Taksali. I am not joking. Their respect, love and knowledge of the 11 Gurus, Sikh history, Gurbani, Shaheeds is really unparalleled. The Nihang Singhs have a brilliant presence about them too! Obviously, the members of the other Sikh Jathebandi's are much much better than me, and deserve alot of respect too. But, when you're looking for 'best of the best', the Taksalis are just so far in front it's amazing! (If anyone comes in a very strong second it's the Nihangs, their place in Sikh history will be there forever!!) The Taksalis just seem to be so close to the Amrit that Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave to Baba Deep Singh Ji (but that's no surprise as Baba Deep Singh Ji was the Taksalis first Jathedar). Obviously, as far as Maryada is concerned, Baba Deep Singh Ji went through the same Amrit Sanchar that the first Panj Piyare received from Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and which Guru Gobind Singh Ji then received from the Panj Piyare. I'm sure, that, if, Baba Deep Singh Ji could fight with his head in his palm, and write 4 Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, one of which was in Arabic, he could also make sure that he could keep a Jathabandi, as given to him by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, going for ever more, with the correct Maryada intact. Baba Deep Singh's Saroops of SGGS Ji are still at the takats and in one of the Arabic Countries today!!! I'm sorry, I not doing any Jatha bashing, but I have to speak my heart, even if it's just to find out if what's in my heart is wrong. So please feel free to tell me. I am here to learn. The last confusion I have in my heart is why do some Jatherbandia praise of Baba Deep Singh Ji and then try and rival, or laugh at, Baba Deep Singh Ji's very own Jathabandi (the taksalis). Why do some Jatherbandia sing the praises of Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and then do nindia/slander of Raag Mala and the Tenth Guru's Dasam Granth . The Raag Mala is clearly in the Adi Granth for all to see, and carbon date, even today. The paper, ink, hand writing and binding is the same for the Raag Mala as the rest of the Adi Granth. Many copies of Dasam Granth have been around for hundreds of years longer/before than the a relatively recently formed Jatherbandis, so how can the modern Jatherbandi override Guru Gobind Singh himself? I would definitely only ever take the Amrit of Baba Deep Singh Ji's Jathabandi, as Baba Deep Singh Ji took Amrit from Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself, and therefore knew the exact Amrit Sanchar for his Jathabandi. When I am deemed ready for Amrit, it will be the Taksalis I go to!! To the modern Jatherbandi, don't stop though, keep going for the rest of your lives. It's better you worship 99.9% of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and see 99.9% of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as perfect, than none at all! I think the person who started this post is very honest.
