  1. wjkk wjkf meeting happened in guru ghar, everything was aired from both sides, sangat had chance to answer questions. all i can say is things happen and spiral out of control. on a poistive note, the academy was used for the seva when 11 saroops were burnt in an arson attack in bow, the kids learnt alot, it was there for a reason, and for whatever reason it is gone, it is the gurus will, if guru ji still wanted to be there he would have some how. It is baana, and it all happens for a reason. the meeting went in circles, but mahraj was there and everyone is accountable to Guru ji (so thats settled). on a positive note the loans will be payed back to the sangat, so if you given a loan get in contact with the sevadar team of the acdemy. (better later than never :biggrin2: ) Everyone has to move on, sometimes things dont work out , thats just the way life goes. The sangat in east london has been spilt abit over the issues about the academy and right now it is a sensative and emotional topic cos a guru ghar has been shut down. word of advice , please think relistic and make sure you have finances covered befroe taking on big projects , it is heart breaking to see a guru ghar shut. But everyone has to move on and get closer to waheguru by improving their jeevan and Sikhi with Gurus kirpa. Evaluate yourself and see how you can be a better person. This needs to stop and end now , life is too short for tension, just jaap naam and move on everyone. i forgot to mention, all of sangats money (doantions) is in hands of sevadar team of academy and will be payed back if not used for another asthan! (thats what was said in the meeting)
  2. people r saying yesterday meeting was kangaroo court lol this is my last comemnt on the academy issue, for those that dont know who this is , im malkeet singh from east london aka killa sikh unit : i was heavily involved, and this is my verison of what happened : kangaroo court lol that is bs, there was no judge there no lawyers, lets stop the penji penji talk, moe the owner, lives in slough he put his house down for two years in 2008 out of the goodness in his heart, he got the piss taken out of him with bs and broken promises , he was in the right and any man would have done the same if there house was on the line, it easy to type of stuff on the net, but why dont u sell ur house ? etc, he done nothing but good for the community and now everybody playing the blame game and wants to use him as a scapegoat for their mismanagement, end of the day all the loans were collected from sangat by management committee and they are responsible for the repayment! god knows the truth and the management team which is a one man band really - should do decent thing and put his hands up and take some blame, if he dont , it is pure ego. all i keep hear is this 5 singhs talk and lets have another meeting, there was 25 to 30 there yesterday, where ever 5 singhs r - guru ji said he is, (thats what is said in the academy khalsa club aint it) sandeep u can believe all the pakhand stories with no substance, the academy was managed wrong, thats not the onwers fualt as for keep ing it open no one else put their money where their mouth is, the owner might have to take the biggest, hit, plus the academy was stripped to a naked shell when management left, all that just for trying to build a place for parchaar in a town he dont live. waheguru knows the truth and god will will hold people for their deeds and accounts. End of ! no more commnets from me, i have made it clear where i stand, i dont trust the management, all ive seen from them is broken promises. and unpaid loans. Im not going to entertain this topic no more, ive made my stance on what i feel is the truth. the rest is up to the sangat and they can do what they do, i dont really care no more, got a life to live. p.s the police where there from start to end sent by rupi lot - so he knew about meeting, there was many neutral people there, ! all games bro! u got to be pretty naive not to see through this, i aint saying rupi has pocketed money , i knw he aint like that! i can almost vouch for that , but it is just crap management and broken promises . not organised paper work etc, it was like a cowboy job in management - anyway no more comments from me, peace
  3. If maharaj wanted to be there he would, no one can move maharaj, gurdwaras have burnt down, and still re opened, this is the first guru ghar in uk to shut down, when the sangat griefs, maharaj aint happy, too many broken promises - singhs shud live by their words, (im a karehati but im on about real singhs) it was sad to see it shut after helping making the academy from scrath , but this is what happens, when their is no unity and love amongst supposed brothers.
  4. intresting meeting , how suprisingly more people that broken promises were made to about the repayment of laons turned up lol , and expressed their griefs, the mangaement never turned up but the police did on their behalf, they were told that gangsters etc were going to be there to cuase trouble lol, there was kids and women and uncles there. Any way onwer presented his facts, and evidence. so many dirty polictics going on - typical punjab bs
  5. I just got this text on my phone: ****Mata Sahib Kaur Academy - Open meeting called by owners of the property at 7pm tuesday 29th january 2013 to preesent facts around the closure, debt, and running of the msk academy. all sangat who contributed to mska requested to to attend and find out truth. meeting at 8 oaks lane, newbury park, ilford, ig2 7pl. this will be the best way and if any one who is concerned should turn up , if you dont you have no right to spread anything about anyone or make assumptions after this meeting, there should be no gossip or slander on any parts, end of the day it is not a good day that the gurdwara has been shut, but being over optimistic is like taking a massive risk and it back fired, everything was done for the sangat and run by the sangat .....many families got their lives changed from the academy. the academy sevadaars are still continuing their seva of parchaar etc so things are not going to stop, which is positive. however this needs to be put to closure once and for all, so the onwers, the sevadaars and the sangats minds are at peace about any speculations , and to bring a full stop to a chapter full of both postives for childern who gained something and negatives due to the disunity and infighting etc .......
  6. the academy was started by singhs from diff places of uk, and it was started to create unity , i was heavily involved in the seva, it was a great start, the kids etc everyone learnt so much, the place was bought for 1.3 million, but only a few singhs with the money got involved in financial side. tbh the singhs bit of more than they could chew, as mortgage repaymenst etc was depedent upon the money riased by the golak, the finacial pressures cuased split between the singhs , and it has been back and fourth he said that he said that etc, i tried to help slove it, but didnt get no where, and when i saw finacially this was not going to work, as in loans were not being paid back to people that money was barrowed from, i stepped out and stopped doing seva there, becuase i knew it was going to come to this, finaically it was too much of a burden and if the singhs had unity they would have closed it without being childish and bickering and just said to sangat that we all tried etc, i dont see why it got this far the disunity that is . the academy sevadarrs have made statements on their fb, they are down sizing , which should have been done a long time ago, .....the academy singhs have made statements about the reaons of shutting down and future plans, the owner and singhs doing the seva have fallen out, the singhs will blame the owner and the owner the singhs vice versa, but bank statements tell the truth, instead of making allegations, and playing back and fourth games, concerned sangat and singhs should set up a meeting and bring closure to any matters and everyone should move on and continue with what ever seva, otherwise rumours etc spread and people get tarnished, --- where there is money problems and punjabis their is polictics, -- singhs get excited when their is abit of unity and bite of more then they can chew, it is best to be realistic and set realistic aims when buying builidings ...... that was the mistake made by singhs involved. the academy fb page ..............http://www.facebook.com/msksa.youths

  11. LHM is a community welfare group which looks at the dangers facing our youth in a current day climate. bare things r happening on the streets, schools etc our peepz seem to be living in fantasy world in a bubble of naivety. we always seem behind of every one else and clock on to things when its too late. we make a bit of noise then go back to sleep. but the upcoming generation need to be thought about tings otherwise they will make bare mistakes and may end up tarnishing their lives we have put a threats to the youth pack together we feel the knowledge in their is vital it is all real issues etc email us : lionheartz@hotmail.co.uk we will send u one, please pass it on aswell www.lionheartzmovement.blogspot.com

  13. der seems to be too much bitchhing going on in our community. i am a lhm sevadar, History of sp - started in the uk - handsworth first to tackle racist attacks by white, then moved to tackle islamic extremists. Then due to bitcthy politics it was disbanded as an orgnaisation, but certain groups in birmangham and southall, gravesend still used the name - they are not fakes, they have had brothers or themselves have been apart of the sp in their lives. yes it is true sp has got a bad name due to making the papers for some mad things, some of them unjust. before lhm we did restart the sp parchar wing - like making community aware of current affairs, our sole aim was to do parchaar, to be sucessful you need gurdawaras and sangat backing you up. we didnt get that due to the fact we were operating under the sp banner. alot of the youth were specktical and parents didnt let kids help us out etc, but some singhs in bham are still operating under sp in birmingham and doing parchaar. lhm are just focusing on awareness, we aint involved with gurdwaras or politcal things. we got nothing against no other org etc we just doing our own ting and concentrating on the bigger picture, their is youth out there that are lost, the whole panth needs to stop bitching about eachother and just focus on their own tings. any programme that brings sangat to a gurdwara is good, all the jathas and orgs seem to do is these days is to impose their view on another,, so much infighting, but our sister and duaghters are snooging ali, imran khan etc in the park while we diss each other. yet we walk around in honour, we imitate real singhs like sant ji, when we are just lil girls and cowards or drinkers and smokers etc by the way this is a first time that people have done a programme for sant jis shaheedi - bare patths have been held for that across uk lol why is sant ji shaheedi or not shaheed cuasing a big issue thats an indivaul thing and everyone entiltled to their own ting. p.s everyone needs to stop believeing rumours etc, phone people up directly - hear tings from horses mouth as they would say

  15. With all due respect I don't think you need to facebook group to legitimise or confirm a public vigil. I think it's an important idea and regardless of who confrims or cancels I personally see no harm in all being there on Saturday 6pm. Even if it's just for a short period of time. true i agree bruv.
  16. wjkk wjkf on his facebook group it says the event on the 16th has been cancelled can anyone shed any light on this? http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=266801382287&ref=mf
  17. wjkk wjkf I knew the Singh personally, he was always smiling and willing to help. Once we did maharaj di seva together, it was my duty to get the water like a flop i forgot and when one of the singhs said to me that where is the water, he rushed to the kitchen and got it. This was the humble character of bhai sahib, he took the seva from me even dough i am younger then him, he could have screwed at me, but he just went and got it. That is really deep and an unusual thing in this day and age as well. He was like a innocent naive type of person ( the type that are too good for this corrupted world). He was brave but we will never get him back. I cant really say nothing else really, no matter what happens to the people that done , it will still not bring our brother back! Personally i think he should have just left the bag, the women was in no danger, he was too valuble to loose over a bag, the women could have got another one, the panth aint going to get sukhwinder singh back. A great loos to the panth. his brave deed and the sakhi i told you guys tells u a lot about his character. there is a programme at barking gurdwara on the 30th of junaury 6pm to late - contact upkar singh from seven kings gurdwara for more details or click on this link http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=266801382287&ref=mf i heard the vigil on saturday 16th has been cancelled i dont knw why but just go and pay respects at any time - flowers and candles etc shud be done soon as road is open again 16th would have been too late anyway
  18. wjkk wjkf we have had so many emails on how sangat can get involved in seva, in the old days there was membership forms, letters were sent out etc prior to an event and the newsletters were posted out. nowadays we dont need to go through all of that as technology has advanced. To keep up to date please join our twitter, it is not as open as facebook and is simple and to the point. it takes 2 secs to join twitter. we will update the sangat of events , newsletters and major news and seva opportunities from there. i was looking at the old membership list which has 10, 000 people - we was going to write to all of them, but thats just long. the list is from ten years ago lol but lets start from scratch lets see if we can beat 10, 000 this time. (i doubt it dough) Can you please subscribe to our twitter to keep up to date with seva opportunities and vital information that we will pass out. We are only going to twitter people if it is really important or to inform people of a upload of the newsletter (www.originalspuk.blogspot.com) etc twitter is not as exposing as facebook and takes 2 sec to join https://twitter.com/sherepanjab our site www.sherepanjab.blogspot.com

  22. wjkk wjkf well done to the organisers for their hard work for a panthic cause. Sikhiroots sevadars put alot of effort and planning into it. it was a good programme with a nice vibe, all Jatha bandis were present. Young Sikhs from all backgrounds were present! Unity was shown and it is the way forward, divided we cannit achieve nothing at all, the sikh community has been divived for such a long time now, thats why we have not progressed. lets always talk about things that will take our community forward thanks again to the sevadars for everything and may guru ji keep blessing you with more oppurtunity for serving the panth.

  24. Most of the Sikh Community will be aware that last year sardar Nirmal Singh Dhesi passed away. Nirmal Singh Ji started many projects one of them was to trace our role and heritage in world wars 1 & 2. He made massive break throughs and made sure the sacrifices made did not go unrecognised. The Sikhs played a vital and pivatol role in the freedom movement against nazi's. Lets all attend this years remembrance day and show we care and are proud of the courage shown by all soldiers that fought but in particular our Sikh brothers, because that made that vital difference between victory and defeat (this fact is also stated by many Non-Sikhs of the time). Remembrance Sunday (Poppy Day) gathering will take place in Centenary Square, Broad Street, Birmingham City Centre on Sunday 8th November 2009 at 10.30am. We request a mass Sikh gathering from our local Gurdwaras and other organisations on Broad Street, in front of the Lloyds Bank and old registrar office at 10.30am. The aim is to show solidarity of the Sikh community, which recognises contributions made by everybody including the Sikhs in World Wars. Wreaths will be laid on this occasion by the Sikh community and wider communities, in memory of all. We need to remember our War veterans and show support for the millions of servicemen and women who lost their lives in the World Wars. Over 1.5 million Sikhs fought in the Sikh regiments of the British army, and over 80,000 lost their lives. We need to show our respect at this event. Preferred colour is dark blue on this day, so gentleman please come with blue Turbans or Patka and ladies please cover your heads with blue headgear. If you require a blue Patka, please obtain one from SCYS UK on 348 Soho Road, Handsworth. For further information please contact D S Dhesy on 07960 777 295 or 0121 523 0147.
