  1. This months newsletter is based on the 1984 dehli genocide of sikhs. i would like to thank the sangat and communtiy for the help and support. please keep sending us valuble news , so we can educate all our community about the current climate affecting our community. united we stand , divided we fall www.originalspuk.blogspot.com
  2. tell me what are we going to do ....... pointless post may b to you it is pointless, but to others, it is offensive and we can campaign to get it removed, where is the honour in viewing the video and then clicking on a next web page like nothing never happened. sikhi is about try, i alerted the sangat , now some that knows what they are doing can iad the sangat or lead the sangat in help getting it removed. Most apnas go to the police when there car gets scratched , now thats pointless, amrit 79 think before you speak bruv, someone calling the guru a mf is not a minor thing
  3. with gurus kirpa everything is possible, also the Original SP newsletter has been started , this project has been started in the memory of Sardar Nirmal Singh Ji Dhesy (a founding father of the SP movement). www.originalspuk.blogspot.com
  4. Panjabi criminals, who sell drugs to others, who terrorise people and exploit our women are not SP. The whole movement was started to better our community. Please Satsangat Ji you are all educated, I am not going to write an essay discussing this issue, and we all have brains use them!
  5. History of Shere Panjab The SP movement started in the 1980's when Sikhs were under the oppression of the Skinheads. Also when a Sikh was killed on the streets of the UK, the police didn’t show much concern. In Southall a young Sikh boy Vijay Singh was stabbed to death in board day light. In east London a Sikh man and his pregnant wife was killed in a stabbing by the Skinheads. (I have just highlighted two cases but the number of racist attacks runs into it the hundreds). In the 1990,s the attention was turned to Islamic extremist gangs who target venerable Sikh girls and terrorised Sikh boys on the streets of the UK. Seeing the plight and fate of our community a family known as the Dhesy brothers (and a few more families from the Dhesy clan) started educating the community of the injustices committed on the Punjabi-Sikh nation. Together they came up with the intuitive and formed the Shere Panjab movement. This movement woke up the community and made people alert. This prevented our youth; from becoming a victim of a devious crime (such as deceptive grooming or gang beatings). The youth took part in self defence classes which in turn helped them escape racist attacks alive. A lot of time, money and effort went in to restoring the community confidence and honour. After the project seemed like it was a success, attention turned towards a new project the Sikh youth services. This project focused more on getting people into their faith, Sikhi workshops and Sikhi camps were started. Today there is over 15 branches nationwide making a difference in the religious development and social development of Sikh youth nationwide. So the SP project was shut down in a formal meeting and people went to focus on their individual projects. However looking at the plight of today’s youth, who do not have much of a clue about what is going on, it has been decided by all the original members to start up an awareness (educational) project under SP. I salute all the old school SP activists who woke up a sleeping community, because of all the hard work the SP legacy still lives on and instantly we remember the good old days were the community had a sense of community spirit. The list of legends is too big; you all know who you are! A lot of people have misused the SP name and brought a disgrace to it, they know who they are. But the real mans know the deal. Sardar Harry Singh Dhesy (one of the founding fathers of the SP) still teaches Sikhs self-defense to this day. Harry Singh spent 10 years in China, learning Martial arts and the art of herbal medication. He also learnt the art of Herbal medication and traditional chinese remedies. With the blessing of Waheguru he continues to be a devoted sevadar of the Sikh nation to this day. Unfortunately Sardar Nirmal Singh Dhesy who was a founding father of the SP and SCYS is no longer with us. He passed away from cancer, R.I.P Nirmal Singh! Sadar Nirmal Singh Ji (RIP Brother we miss you so much, but your legacy lives on) Sardar Nirmal Singh helped plan many camps for Sikh youth, putting the lives of others before his own needs. He spent most of his earnings serving the Panth.
  6. wjkk wjkf Valid points singh, we are taking it back to old skool, before all this stigma, SP was a registerd charity and involved the whole community from elders to youngsters. It was a movement of mentality and about education and creating awareness. Our main concern is about eduacting families and the youth about the dangers facing our community. Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave us the roop and spirit of a lion, roam free with out fear. But these days alot of sikhs are scared when they walk around becuase they have been victimised, we need to rehabilate these victims and show them mental support. If you look at history our women chose death and even got their kids killed in front of them by the mughal opressive reigeme. But now days our girls are running away with people , whose ancestors were the mughals. There is a big change in mentality. it is the duty of every Sikh to educate our people , who ever , where ever, what ever organisation, please spread Sikhi and the Khalsa Spirit of love and rightousness amongst the people. The original SP member used to get attacked by Islamic extremist gangs and all they did was defend themselves, that is why no Original SP member got taken to court for a crimes other then self defense and most of the time they were released due to legimate reasons.
  7. If anyone wants to help, email spuk@live.co.uk they will email you the promotional leaflet, also we have to prevent our youth from falling into the traps of our predators, so please download the threats to our youth pack and distribute. also creat awareness of the site. Thank you, in advanced from dass a dog of the Punjabi-Sikh community United we stand , divided we fall SP 4 LIFE
  8. Shere Panjab Aim A strategic movement of mentality designed to bring back honourable principals and high morals within our community. Our main concept is self preservation, to preserve the identity, honour and dignity of the Punjabi-Sikh community. How An educational movement which will help provide our community with the knowledge of our roots and our history. We will also educate people about prevention skills; which will help them avoid tactics that are used by our predators (groups/gangs that want to harm the Punjabi-Sikh community). Principles of the S P movement • Belief in One God (the immortal soul and creator of all – WAHEGURU) • Reject any caste system what so ever! We are all equal children of Waheguru! (The caste system is a part of the Hindu religion not Sikhism). • We treat every religion, race and creed with love and respect; however we will speak out and make a stand against anyone trying to attack our religion and community. Sikhs are never attackers, but only defend their rights. • We are working for the welfare of the whole of society, but in particular we will be working with Punjabi-Sikh youth to get them out of the bad elements of life. Such as drugs, tobacco, alcohol and the many other pitfalls of modern day society. We want our community to be represented in a positive light towards humanity, so all of us have a responsibility to act as good role models for the upcoming generation. Who are the members of the S P? Our spiritual parents are Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji & Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. Our father is the Lion of all lions and our homeland is Panjab. That makes us all the lions and lionesses of Panjab, as it is in our bloodline to roam free with the honour and style of a lion. The Sahibzadas are our brothers they showed us to never give up our identity, no matter at what cost! The Punjabi-Sikh community is like one big family. We are all apart of the SP, the weight of our honour and pride is on the shoulders of all our community. This responsibility is not given out to a chosen few; we all have a role to play. You can either bring shame on our community by doing negative deeds or you can bring pride into our community by doing positive deeds. Glimpse at the problems facing our youth: • The lack of knowledge of our roots and history. A lot of our community do not even know the names of our Guru Sahibs (But we know the name of 11 football players and of Bhangra Stars). This in turn gives individuals a sense of No belonging; making it easier for our people to be targeted for conversions etc. Only if the youth have a vibe of pride about their faith and community will they refuse to turn their back on the Guru and the community. S P along with other organisations will provide resources that will educate our youth about their faith and history. • A lot of young women complain at the way our own men treat our women, with no respect etc. Adultery and divorce rates amongst our married couples are at an all time high. How can we complain about our women running off to men from different backgrounds when we abuse our own women (that makes us hypocrites). Guru Ji gave Sikh women the name kaur (warrior – Princess); however women you need to think do you have self respect? If not how can you ask for respect of others if you don’t respect yourselves! Your dignity is in your own hands, ask your self this, would you let your daughter dress and do the things you do? If not why? • Disunity – Sikh on Sikh beef is at an all time high. We are too busy arguing over differences instead of working together on common goals. We need to end all this beef and come together, let’s wake up! The Importance of Unity! Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, the true King was staying in Anandpur Sahib. One day Guru Ji, told the Sevadaars to cook a lot of rice. When the rice was cooked they were piled in a heap, then Guru Ji asked the Singhs to bring some deer. The deer were brought and allowed to eat the rice from the pile. All the deer ate some rice each and went away. The Singhs asked Maharaj “what does this mean?" Maharaj told them he will explain it tomorrow. The next day Maharaj asked that a few dogs be brought to the same pile of rice. When the dogs were brought to the pile the first one took a mouthful and the dogs started fighting, the pile of rice was ruined (they were all over the place drowned in blood) and the dogs left injured and hungry. Maharaj was laughing at this scene. Daya Singh asked: “Maharaj, what is this? Yesterday you fed rice to the deer and today to the dogs, what does this mean? Maharaj said: “Singhs I have given you instructions for the times to come. If you act like the deer in a united manner, you will find satisfaction and success, but if you fight like the dogs did, you will get bloodied and beat up and will not get anything" Visit our blogspot and download the new 2009 SP soundtrack, and SP packs (We are dedicated in providing knowledge to our youth). 9. A lot of Gurdwaras in the UK are committing Anti-Gurmat activities, there needs to be a legitimate committee set up who has the power and support of the Akal Thakt. The committee should go to Gurdwaras across the UK and look at safety regulations such as fire and theft prevention. The state of Suckhand should be checked to see whether it is in a respect manner. Security issues, such as CCTV, and security guards etc should be looked at as Gurdwars across the UK have become targets of racial abuse. The Gyanis that work and serve the UK sangat should be regulated by this board, due to the soaring increase in the cases of sexual assault on women and kids by gyanis. These are normally swept under the mat and the gyani is moved on to another Gurdwara in a next town. The sangat there will have no information on the dangers posed by the gyani, until is too late. Every gyani working in the UK should have a I.D card and must have a written report or references when moving from Gurdwara to Gurdwara (like we do when we move jobs or schools) Why is the Sikh Community in the UK so behind and not using common sense to safeguard our future? These are just small minor deterrents and principals to help us. In the UK we have made money but lost our Sikhi, the Gurdwara for most has become a formality. Violations of the Sikh code of conduct within Gurdwaras are increasing at an alarming rate.
  10. the movement started in 2005 and has always expressed real life sitautions and views in a real manner - dealing with life day to day. The artist attempt to lyrically draw a real picture of modern day Sikh related issues. please check em out and pass them on if they do sumthing for u, sorry in advanced if we have wasted ur time take care people. wjkk wjkf www.sikhunit.co.uk
  11. we spend so much money on things like this, to most it is just a day out, i mean we pay thoushands of pounds but the money should be used for the shaheeds families etc they are suffering. Singhs in jail dont even have tooth brushes. we should get lawyers back home and fight cases, becuase most the singhs locked up are innocent. have we even convicted any culprit. we waste so much money in the uk on nagar kirtans , melas etc, every one gets pumped for ine day and then goes sleep. if all the oldies had a clue about what to do, things would have been done by now. its all turned into a pump thing, a rally on the year of 1984 even 1985....... but if 25 years on and all we can do is rally ..... and not get things done , like heal the wounds of people, help our own brothers who are locked up for no reason. we are the victims, the panth needs to get organised on a united front, theres so many splinter groups, and organisations seeking justice, every one goes to there own programmes etc that aint gonna get u nowhere. thats why for 25 years we have gone backwards not forwards. Sikhs are still seen as terrorist by world media. atleast in 84 enemies of sikhs were getting licked , that aint even happening now but we still get called terrorists we been screwed to next levels, we are like ants in a glass jar , one trys climbing out and the next one pulls him down, the ants can only get freedom id the all move together to the top of the jar
  12. must watch by all real Sikhs, www.truesikhi.blogspot.com pass on the link
  13. yeah we shud help, if u read the posts abve mans r going on like that he might be arrested under bruts laws etc, the immagration authorties aint police, yeah we can protest, but its up to them who they let saty its there country. they looking to get us all out soon, not let more in. lol times will get real bad in Uk. in few years bnp will win, and roits willl kick off every where
  14. sikhs have been presecuted from the very existance sometimes by words sometimes by voilence. Sacrifices and struggle can never be avoided for a sikh that is our identity. 84 had nothing to do with sant ji, india government hated sikhs even b4 sant ji made a stand. in 84 they attacked 37 other gurdwaras was sant ji there too? guru gobind singh ji made gurdwaras into forts and kept guns in gurdwaras and cannons and an army. so did banda singh bahuadur and bab deep singh ji. Guru ji fought many battles from a gurdwara, what better place is there to die and prepare for war. if you codmen sant ji then u are codemning guru ji, all sant ji did was follow in the foot steps of his guru and portect sikh identity , honour and pride. listen if u want to avoid getting mugged , dont walk the streets lol u cant be a coward u live and do what u have to, and when the day cums that sumones brings beef to u, u either run and hide, get beaten up and call the police or teach the **************** a lesson. real singhs dont die their spirit lives on and avokes us to do the same.
  15. if u read the news properly he aint in jail, he has not been questioned by police, he has no charges pending. The police cannot arrest u just becuase u been kidnaaped by the taliban lol infact they would go around his house and ask him questions there about his ordeal. His aslyum got refused thats why he is in a immigrant detion centre not in jail or on remand. people make sumting out of nothing, its becuase we never get facts right and pumped up then weeks later we find out it is sumting else, thats why people dont even bother looking at these threads, its like if i see a thread sikh boys hair cut by force, i just think yeah the boy made it up cos so many do nowadays.
  16. Miracles & SIKHI A lot of Sikhs nowadays doubt a lot of Sikh history because they think it was impossible for certain things to happen. A lot of people think Baba Deep Singh Ji did not fight while his head was chopped off. They also think Guru Gobind Singh Ji did not chop off the heads of the punj pairyea (even dough history says that Guru Ji pulled out his sword and asked for a head). If you doubt this then you are saying that Guru Ji deceived his Sikhs and are indirectly calling him a lair. Plus if you believe God cannot to miracles then you have not understood Sikhi. Below I have included some bani quotes which prove God can and does do miracles. nwnk BwvY pwrbRhm pwhn nIir qry ]52] naanak bhaavai paarabreham paahan neer tharae ||52|| O Nanak, if it pleases the Supreme Lord God, then even a stone will float on water. ||52|| ANG 261 SGGSJ pRB BwvY ibnu sws qy rwKY ] prabh bhaavai bin saas thae raakhai || If it pleases God, the body is preserved, even without the breath of life. 17. yeah ur right they do sum good tings check this my mate used to walk wid a knive to protect hiself from these local muggers, anyway one day they tried mugging him, he pulled it out they ran. about 6 weeks later he got cuaght with it , and then he was too scared to carry one, anyway a few weeks later a diiferent group of muggers tried mugging him, he refused to hand over his goods, and they stabbed him to death, so indirectly it was the police that didnt save his life, sri guru gobind singh ji said that every one has right to self defense , the police say u dont only they have the right to bear arms, what hyprocrits
  18. da police work for corrupt governments who are narrow minded, they beat up innocent protesters who make a stand for animal rights, human rights, justice and rightounessm they lock up alot of innocent people. they get involved with peoples bissiness, they unarm people by force, so that they cant protect themselves therefore cuasing vanerability to an individual. most have egos and they opressses our right of self presavation, the khalsa force is da best any amritdhari joining any other force is a sell out in my eyes
  19. why are some people whinning and moaning. they settign up to do sikhi tings the more the better init. in our history we have had different misls doing different things which had different visions and angles. in 84 we had isyf , kcf ,klf , etc who all had common goal. instead of codemning anyone join which ever or even both and make a difference for the panth, we should be encouraging bssf and showing them supprt as they are doing parchaar, not disheartening them. its like the more charity group we would have for collecting the money the more money we would get, becuase more collectors will be involved and more awarness created. therefore the more parchaar groups the more parchaar will be happening, this mean more people getting into sikhi guru kirpa, more gurdwaras and unis covered.
  20. damn the worlds ended, who cares man, u pluto internet freaks think this site the be end all of sikhi, ders a real big bad world out there and one day u papuuus will not be able to hid. the sikhs in dehli hided, but in nov 84 they were buthchered cos they did listen to sant ji and wre into this flower power ting of being accepted and liberal, but that got betrayed.
  21. Guru ji had shaster and guns the people of the times had labelld gur ji as a dhuku. the site aint attacking islam, its asking a questin to muslims it is a well know rumourabout mohhamed and a lil girl. u diss dese boys for being in da park, how many of u were in da local gurdwaras to protect guru ghars on a high risk day. (anything cud have happened) are udam singh (who punished a mass murderer of skhs) , sant ji (who stood up for sikh dignity, bhagat singh , baba deep singh ji (who went to defend sikh honour agaisnt muslims) besti figures to u or heros, these lads done the same in principal. who cares wat others think, the police are a gang who opress others wid der views. the british government jus finished killing innocents arosss the east. goras think we bin laden and wanna kill us, who cares wat others think, that aint sikhi, got to b true to ur own heart. u name urself khalsa, but aint got clue bout our history and spirit. Sri guru gobind singh sent his own sons to battle wid knives, to defend wat is right. wat do u knw? wat do u knw. u comment agaist ur brothers who put their neck on the line, but have u comment agaibst the muslim gangs on their site. u jus a pluto singh who wud get his pug knocked of and jus stand there, even if u got a kirpan its probabely blant as hell. i respect blood and honour and feel sad dat i wasnt there to help em. If you desire to play this game of love with Me, then step onto My Path with your head in hand. When you place your feet on this Path, give Me your head, and do not pay any attention to public opinion. ||20|| guru nanak dev ji
  22. big up blood and honour gangto da fullest nuff luv 4 u manz from my heart for showing resistance. damn da haterz, they jus jealous cos they aint got the guts like u mans. u got to meet fire wid fire, but these planet pluto mans will never understand
