  1. No offence to anyone but in my opinion that quote from Yogi Bhajan was bull$hit at it's very best...
  2. Spot on...we shouldn't be debating meat. The hukamnamas from the Akal Takhat have cleared up this matter and have further endorsed the Panthic Maryada. SRM - Article XI a. The reading of the whole Guru Granth Sahib (intermittent or non-stop) may be concluded with the reading of Mundawani or the Rag Mala according to the convention traditionally observed at the concerned place. (Since there is a difference of opinion within the Panth on this issue, nobody should dare to write or print a copy of the Guru Granth Sahib excluding the Rag Mala). The keyword here is may be concluded. Therefore the Panthic Maryada is not forcing any jatha to read RagMala. So there's nothing to discuss here either. All the people who try to 'nick pick' on the Panthic Maryada have there own agenda. I believe they wish everyone to follow their own interpretation of Reht and if the Panthic Maryada doesn't support or endorse it they start acting like renegades 'nick picking' at the Panthic Maryada or they start doing Nindiya of the Akal Takhat and it's Jathedar.
  3. How the xxxx, is havan innovative?...people have been practising that for centuries!
  4. I'm sure there are Gursikhs that the Akal Takhat can recommend. Hopefully a debate that won't result in a punch up.
  5. Here a vid where he's anti-Kamlesh Ahir...which I think is a good thing. Ok.. how about this one...presented by Tiger Jatha UK...Grrr... [shiny red shirt?...someone call the fashion police]
  6. Remember with archery you can potentially cause yourself damage to your intercostal muscles if you're not fit or you're muscles aren't warmed up properly. Not such problem with one of these machine guns... Fires a million rounds per second.
  7. Hold on a minute...a growth hormone is a protein, and when you eat it the HCL acid in your stomach breaks it down...so it won't have an effect on your growth....not hormonally anyway. Genes first and then a good diet determine your height. Simples...

    Pesh?

Thinking outside the box, what would be the case if you had to give a semen sample for medical reasons...for example diagnosing potential fertility issues? An exception to pesh perhaps?
  9. Let me just say that I've personally met the Akal Takhat Jathedar, Gaini Gurbachan Singh. He came to my house for lunch that me and my family prepared and through my conversations with him I found him to be such a nice man, always in Chardi Kala. Great personaility and very humble.
  10. How about in a clear and unambiguous response?...answering a question with a question is unclear and ambiguous.
  11. I got it from a google search...I put in Sarbjit Singh Dhunda. http://www.google.co.uk/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=Sarbjit+Singh+Dhunda&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&redir_esc=&ei=N2KJTry9PIO20QWt2dDoDw :biggrin2:
  12. That online bastion of quality journalism, panthic.org, has remained silent in it's commentary of Prof. Sarbjit Singh Dhunda.
  13. How much is the contract per month? The thing is, if you're wife's got a iPhone4, you therefore can share the same iTune account, and buy apps once for both devices. So you get a cost saving there. Also, the iPhone, (is a closed system) is more secure than Android, (anyone can write a Android and put it up onto an app store). So summarise, it's better to pick one system and stick with it, as you're making an investment into the system by purchasing apps, add-on, etc to the device. I hope that makes sense. I've personally got an iPhone 1 (original), and iPhone 2 (3G). My next phone will probably be the iPhone 5 or 6, (whatever one is an LTE phone). I'll purchase one unlocked and without a contract as it's just slightly cheaper and the SIM only contract (with my O2 loyalty discount) is an unbelievably good deal. (I also need the iPhone to have more than 32GB of space...my offline googlemaps app has a current map size of 6GB....and rising.) From what I've heard, (I could be wrong) t-mobile don't give you a loyalty discount if you've been with them for 3 years+...which I think is stupid. These apps are the reason why I'm an iPhone 'fanboy'.... 14. If you open you eyes and actually read my post, I'm asking you to tell them that you believe its civilised behaviour, not the other way around. You too chicken to be open about your beliefs? This punishment was sanctioned by the Akal Thakat, the seat of temporal authority...not by any other authority to the ruler of the land....not by a mob on the side of the road with his chittar being smacked by a baseball bat with his pung rolling around on the floor. You are so blind to differences. Case law?...LOL Yeah I saw the defendant have a right to appeal, and I saw the other defendants who got a beating too, have a right to plead their case...yeah all done in an orderly civilised manner on the side of a road...LOL If you ever have a wife and kids 'Only five'...I'll feel sorry for them....LOL If you believe the Akal Takht is under the control of the faithless therefore you are implying that the current Jathedar, Gaini Gurbachan Singh, is without faith. You have no respect for the Akal Takhat and such nindya of a Gursikh from you is unacceptable.
  15. You bought a Android phone instead of a iPhone?....Oh my God, man whats wrong with you!!!.....a new iPhone is going to be launched in October the 4th!! I'm sorry ...all the problems you have is because you bought a crap phone with a crap Operating System. In the world of smartphones, when will people understand that Java is dead and Xcode rules? Sorry JasSinghKhalsa...I'm just messin' with ya...my experiences of Android phones (via my friends) hasn't been a good one. Sorry I can't help.
  16. What is the definition of Bani? If bani is the Guru and the Guru is bani, then doesn't logic dictate that the writings within the Dasam Granth can't be defined as bani as the 'bani' in the Dasam Granth is not considered as Guru?....and if it is considered as Guru...then why isn't the Dasam Granth equal to the Guru Granth Sahib? Correct me if I'm wrong but the Nihungs believe that the Dasam Granth is equal to the Guru Granth, (they refer to the Dasam Granth as Guru Dasam Granth). That makes sense to me as any bani from any of the Ten Human Guru's is considered as Guru, (hence 'Guru is bani, bani is Guru' makes sense). I hope someone can clearly and unambiguously clarify this paradigm. Let me know if this topic can be discussed...not sure if it's allowed...I'd be happy to delete my posts if they are in volilation of any forum rules.
