  1. Brother Jacfsing2, in my humble opinion, the second translation(in blue above) you provide is the correct one. Because, we must bear in mind, the body of any Guru Sahiban, Gurmukh, is not the real Guru, as it also one day has to pass away. And as Firist Patshahee, has Himself said: Shabad Guru surat dhun chela ..... So, that Power, that level of Supreme Consciousness, which is also known as Naam or Shabad, is the Aad Guru, and the real Guru, in the sense it never undergoes any changes, and it is this Swaroop of Guru jee, which takes ashore to Sach Khand, whosoever aboards that Jahaaz of Naam. But we also love the physical temporary form of our Guru Sahibans, because we are very much to love by hugging and or just seeing the Beloved, though by hiding ourselves sometimes .... and Wahiguru Jee, knows about this our uncompleteness, of our imperfections, thus spiritually blind to see His real Swaroop of Jot, so whenver He has came, He has allowed us out of His bountless Grace, to love Him, to adore Him, to have His darshan, because after all, even the physical form of Guru jee, is a manifestation of His Shabad Swaroop...though limited for a limited time of period. That is His mauj, which we can not demand. But rather pray at His Lotus Feet : Deen Dayal Sachay Patshah, allow this moorakh to love You and meditate on You, so that one day with Your Grace, I can have Your darshan and hug You, just as a child hugs/embraces and loves his father or mother, and then never ever leave You. Sat Sree Akal.
  2. Crying while praying, is mainly letting off your emotions. It could also mean, you have intense longing and love for our beloved Wahiguru, you feel the pangs of separation from Him, this is known as "preet". And indeed, it is a blessing from Wahiguru. It is this intense longing for the Beloved, which washes our sins sooner, then even many years of bhajan bandagee. The purpose of devotion is that, to make us "nirmal", pure and soft as wax, in order to blend in that Ocean of Love, namely Wahiguru. Sat Sree Akal.
  3. Well brother, as almost all of the friendly posters here have said, speak out whatever you have inside,so that you can get a mature answer. When we go to a doctor, we just do not say it pains me here. In order to facilitate the doctor´s job, we have also to tell him since when we got it, or how we got it, if it was by falling down, or getting hurt with something hard or whatever it could be. It is only you, who knows what for you get emotional... so please do not feel ashamed, we are all brothers and sisters here, to help each other; speak out, and you will surely get help from the sangat. You are growing up, so it is just but natural to ask, until you reach a certain age in maturity. But then too, it is always good to share one´s queries. Sat Sree Akal.
  4. Excuse me, I know not much about this what you ask. But my heart tells me, there is no wrong in what you do. Because those who trade with His Naam, are moorakh manmukhs, and on the other side those who look for His mahima, His Bani, are far superior, as they are His lovers. Wahiguru and His Bani should be free and available to all, just as water and air are for our being alive. Raagis and keeratnees, are gifted with a beautiful voice by Wahiguru, so that they may generate love and devotion in the hearts of the sikhs for His Lotus Feet, that also, not as something as a bread earning, but as a sewa in His dedication. Sat Sree Akal.
  5. Whenever we see a dish of food on the table, we know someone has definetely made it. In the same way, if we see any form of life, we should also understand, it is because, it is going through destiny karma, of previous lives. Otherwise, if, the soul was with God, it would not come back again. We do bhakti, and love Wahiguru, in order to become free once and forever of the mayavee creation, by merging ourselves with Him. Because, doing the bhakti of others (gods, devis, devtas, prophets) apart from Wahiguru, can at most lead us to heaven, Swarg, Baikunth, Shivpuri or even Brahamlok, but within certain time, when our shubh karmas are finished, we shall once again fall from those regions or planes into the wheel of eighty four. So Wahiguru does not create any new souls and pushes them into Maya, otherwise why would He through Gurmat, tell us via Guru Sahibans, to do the Bhajan Bandagee, to achieve real freedom, and as said above, by becoming one with Him. it is clear, He wants us to go back to Him, not that, to some He calls back, and then creates more souls for replacement and sends them into creation. Human ignorance has no limits .... Sat Sree Akal.
  6. Dear CanadianSingh, my experience tells me, that is is always better not to depend on what others believe or not. Neither should we make our lives miserable in trying to convince others. It is better to get satisfactory answers for oneself to strenghten one´s faith, because ultimately, each and everyone is responsible for one´s destiny. The path leading to Him,is of devotion, and has to be walked alone. It is not like here in this world, for example like going to picnic with friends or family. One comes alone, goes alone, and walks there alone also. Maybe in sub-spiritual planes there are souls, with whom one can meet .... But when it is coming to Him, even the sole soul, gets dissolved in Him there. Sach Khand vasay Nirankar. Ik Oankar. This clearly means, there where He is, there are no doubles, triples or multitudes . But only one, and that One, is none other than, Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Sat Sree Akal.
  7. No no. Do not feel sorry for asking questions. Just ask, to quench your curiosity. The thing is, it is said you keep asking same questions, with different words in different forums, but has anyone stopped to see why you do so? It is just because, you have not got satisfactory answers to you queries. No two people have same level of maturity or consciouss levels. Different people need different times to grasp the meaning. Some understand in a minute, others even in a lifetime do not understand. Again, nature has made everyone as they are. But in any case, one has to be sincere and give one´s best in anything, and then leave it. We can not force anyone on anything. What one sees as white, others may say, no it is red or black, do not take this literally but as something which one perceives as one´s level of awareness. Going back to your questions for proofs of soul, god or life after death, etc. Only that much I can tell you, that, for material things one needs material instruments for their analysis, but for subtle existence in subtle dimensions, one needs a different instrument which allows you to enter there and experiment it by yourself . This is not like soemone going to America for example, take pictures and show you, or even bring souvenirs, gifts for you. Physical organs of perception are limited to the material universe. Second Patsahee says: there one sees without eyes, walks without feet, hears without ears , works without hands ... So, to enter those spiritual realms and experiment whatever the Bani says, you have to do the regular practice of the jugtee of Naam Simran, then you need nobody to tell you anything on these issues, because you yourself will have the gyan of it. This is easily said, but needs a lot of will power, determination, to enter there, and above all His Grace. May Wahiguru bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  8. Jigyasu jee, as you are with a guest name, and have no profile of a member yet, it is difficult to know the gender of the person to whom one is talking to. Anyhow Penjee, you are most welcome. You are definetely our sister, as Wahiguru is our True Father, as souls. Do not worry, as Pen jee simran345 is saying above, you have done nothing wrong. To those whom you have asked for forgiveness, and they do not do so, in that case do not worry at all, as you have done your duty, now the case is between them and Wahiguru, you are out of any fault. You yourself stick to Dharam, which means righteuosness, do not see what others do, or how they react, as at the end of the day, each and everyone has to pay for his/her deeds. To your question of Dhun, do pay attention to Naam Simran alone, when your Simran is good enough, Shabad Dhun will be natural outcome of that Simran, and you will be automatically pulled towards that Dhun within, so make sure you are fully absorbed in Simran. Pen jee Jigyasu, and Sangat in general, how nice is being here among so lovely people, on one side Jigyasu is asking us to help her with our two little cents, and in return, she is asking Wahiguru blessing us. This is Sikhee, selfless goodness at its highest levels. Truly, this is Sikh Sangat. May Wahiguru bless all, with more love at His Lotus Feet. Sat Sree Akal.
  9. Sat Sree Akal EKOANKAR Jee, indeed a beautiful question. Dasam Dwar means the tenth door, and so, there are 2 dasam dwars at different levels. One is the at third eye center, or the point at center of the forhead. This is called so, because, to enter the first spiritual realm known as Astral Region, we have to close the the other nine bodily apertures or doors, such as the mouth, 2 ears, 2 eyes, 2 nose nostrils, and the lower 2 apertures. Closing these apertures does not mean to lock them somehow, but it means we should withdraw our attention from the outer world, because it is through them that we communicate with the outer world, so the thing is to withdraw our attention and concentrate at the third eye center, with the aid of Wahiguru Jaap or simran for example, and thus be able to enter the real Harmandir within ourselves, by His Grace above all. The second Dasam Dwar, is located in the Causal Region, which is above the Astral one and still subtler than the former one, and here is also some how a Tenth Door, which one has to pass through it, cross it, then reach the pure spiritaul region known also as Parbraham region, and from there on, direct non stop to Sach Khand. Of course this not possible by any ordinary being, not even gods or godesses.... but only those blessed wadbhagee Gurmukhs, with the kamaee of Naam Simran alone. This is an act of true bravery, of a true sikh, who, by His Grace has defeated mind and Kal with the only weapons of love, faith and faith in Wahiguru, become spotless with the Amrit of Naam, and is thus entitled to become one with Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Sat Sree Akal.
  10. Too much of ego, thus there is more noise then actual nuts, in reality. The topic is, of why other dharmas like christianity and islam are allowed by god to sacrifice animals, but not sikhi. Thus the topic is not of attacking vegetarians, just because one is a meat eater, and so to justify one´s sense of guilty, it is better to divert the attention on the other side. Anyway, NavdeepSingh74 gives an explanation with solid foundation, thus is much more credible and valid, than sheer empty words. A positive person sees goodness, almost in all; while a negative person just vomits the negativity contained within, and sees faults with almost everyone. There is no doubt, there is a lot of potential, but in the end it all depends on how we use it, whether in being humble, good and helpful, or, egoistic, negative and destructive. Sat Sree Akal.
  11. Dear gsingh12345, thanks a lot for sharing this lovely sweet voice of Bhai Veer Singh Lucknow Wale, which till today I never came through. Hope you enjoy Gurbani, with these fantastic god gifted melodious voices. Sat Sree Akal.
  13. Prophets, gods, devtas... are just to bring righteousness in this world to an extent only. But if we ever want to know what God wants to tell us, it is only by Bhagats, Gurmukhs and Guru Sahibans, that we can get direct and accurate information or gyan from God, untill we grow spiritually wise and become one with God.... till then we have to rely only on Gurbani. God can never ever forbid somethings to some, and allow others to do the same. This is all manmat, moorakhta, agyanta. Of the islam I do not have much knowledge, so I can not quote anything to prove the the Truth on this topic; but from the Christians, we know from their Ten Commandments, one of them is : thou shall not kill. And killing is not limited to not to kill humans alone, as it is nowhere specified, but killing in general is forbidden. It is just that, to satisfy the taste of the tongue, the weak humans commit sins and then justify it, by saying, oh, it was done in the name of god...stupid people At other place is said: as you sow, so shall you reap. If one plants pain, cheating, killing, robbing ....the very same shall we get in return. The nature is made in that way. Every action has an reaction. Not that God is bad, but it is the bad done by us, whenever it maybe, which returns back. Then the foolish cry and pray : Oh God if you are there, why don´t you listen me? Why do not you take away my pain? How can you be so unjust? And blah blah blah .... Always God is blamed ....foolish people. They come here in a alien land for a limited time, and do sort of nonsense by not respecting the laws of Nature, thus they bind themselves almost perpetually. You see, if it is here in this world where we do bad or good, naturally it is here where, we have to come to pay or collect payment. And to come here, means, again we have to come in a mother´s womb, means, chaurasee ka chakar goes on and on, nonstop. The force and accuracy of karmas can never be understood fully, they are quite complicated from our actual state, but anyhow, there is no unjustice in it. Though we may not understand or even agree with it, but in the end, there is a touch of Grace of Wahiguru in the law of Karma, that also for our benefit as souls. Following is an example, of how mysterious and complicated can be the karma theory for us. We all know Dhritrashtra was blind from birth. Once in the company of Krishna, he told him, with my the tap of Yoga, I have been able to go 98 lives back, and in none of them can I see myself doing any such thing to be blind now. So Krishna, with his power, took him still 5 lives back, and showed him how in that life, while he was a small boy and was playing near a pond, how he was taking out the eyes of a worm with something sharp pointed .... From this we learn that, we do commit all sort of karmas, but we do not have any clue as per how they act or when they unfold the reactions... it is totally out our understanding, but nevertheless are our very own sown seeds. If we sow chillies, naturally we are not going to get potatoes, howsoever we may shout, cry or pray. Nature is perfectly executed as designed by Wahiguru, we can not bribe or alterate Nature. Only by respecting the laws of Nature can we be at peace here and hereafter. Some may say, we are mentally and emotionally poor, how can we know what is good or bad? Or how to respect the laws of Nature and not interfere its course? For this, there are two options. One is to, keep Sadh Kee Sangat as much as possible, in order to learn from them being virtuous. And second, by doing as said in the Bani: Saas saas simroh Gobind. Because by meditating on Wahiguru, we become pure, and we learn to stay in His Bhaana at all times, thus staying in His Bhaana, we can never do anything wrong. it is a pity, Sikhee is so simple and complete by itself, but alas, we have adulterated it, and this has made us gone astray. Then we ask ourselves, why sikh youngsters are going into islam or here or there... You see people in general are not stupid, they want logic answers to strengthen their faith, which they do not see, because there is lot of ritualization and a lot of theories, when the fact is, Sikhee is to discard everything else, and only to pratice one thing : do His Bhajan Bandagee, through His Naam Simran. The Bani says: Prabh ka Simran sabh tay oochaa. Because if ever there is anything which washes away our impurities, or karmas, past sanskaras, the filthy mind, fight and defeat Maya, yam doots or Kal Purukh himself, that is only His Naam. And Sangat jee, not only that, but it is by boarding the jahaaz of Nam, that we can surely and safely reach our True spiritual Home namely Sach Khand, which we once left long long ago and since then we have been wandering aimlessly in the mayavee creation. Not once did we hold the "pallav of His Naam in all our past countless lives. We have done all sort rituals, pilgrimages, moortee pujas, worship gods, godesses, prophets, fastings, bathing in so called holy waters and a big etc...... That is why the Bani tells us: Bahut janam vichuray teh Madhao, ehe janam Tumhare lekhey... Ninth Patshahee also tells us: Gun Gobind gaayo nahee, janam akarath keen. Here Guru Jee is telling us, if we do not sing His glory by repeating His Naam, we have wasted away our lives. So we can see, we may take any Ang from the Bani, it is nothing, but only the wadeayee of His Naam, of that Ik Oankar, Aad Niranjan Prabh Nirankara. Brothers, we may continue like this for a long time, going on tasting the rus of the sweet Bani of our beloved Guru Sahibans, and never even then getting satisfied, but on the contrary, wanting it more and more, such is the hunger an thirst, for the Pure Paviter Bani.... Sat Sree Akal.
  14. There is no doubt, as per Gurbani, (we) any ordinary person can become one with God. This is the difference between what Gurbani offers us, in comparison to other paths or philosphies .... And that too, not only after death, but right now while alive. For that , we need two conditions : 1st) His Grace, and 2nd) putting into practice Gurbani/ Gurmat/ Sikhee. And so, what does the Bani says or how does it confirm the above assertions: Following are the most beautiful words I have ever read: Jin Har japeeya, se Har hoeeya. The Bani says: whosoever repeats His Name, becomes one with Him. And this means, we merge our surtee in Him, our single ray of our soul, in our origin, the Sun. The rays emerge from the Sun and come out for a certain time, but in the end of the day, the Sun pulls back that ray in itself... In the case of Guru Sahibans, Brahamgyanis, they behold the Light of Wahiguru while they are present with us, without any perceivable outer signals, but with the perfume of Naam, which only some wadbhagee noses(jeevas) can smell. This is the greatness of Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Wah wah Sachay Patshah.. Sat Sree Akal.
  15. It is not that simple to judge anybody´s consciouss level, or let us say spiritual heights, when we ourselves are nobody, means no authority. We do not even know what is going to come next in our minds the next second, and we are judging .... This is human nature, we see all / everything, as per our square limited perspective Well anyhow, from what we have seen and heard from the Bani, which is supreme Truth, we can say gods, prophets, angels, devtas, etc ..... are nothing in comparison to the Bhagats mentioned in the Bani or even our very own Guru Sahibans. The difference between these two categories, is that, while the first ones, come to establish righteousness in the world; the second ones, come for the liberation of the jeevas from the mayavee creation, in order to reunite them with Wahiguru Akal Purukh, with the power of Naam or Shabad.. Thanks to Gurmat, we understand and accept even the former ones, as they have a role to play in the creation; in a way we become conscioussly mature. Because nobody can come or do anything, except by His Hukum. So even if we do not follow them, or believe their teachings, because we have the Bani with us, we do not fight them, or demean them, it is wrong to do so. Because, they are just functioning as per how they were designed to do, by the Supreme Master Director Wahiguru Akal Purukh, of the play of the creation. We are not all aware, of how lucky we are, by being under the shelter of Gurbani. We have to be firm in our faith, but at the same time tolerant, and feel pity, not krodh, nor slander, for those who are not in sikhee or Gurmat. If by chance we speak or talk of sikhee with those who have no clue of this path, we should express ourselves in a natural manner without trying to impose, because, what matters in the end is His grace, not anybody´s attempts; and then just leave it. If He wants, that person or people shall be pulled and will come to the path, not per our wishes, but as said before, when their time to become reap, comes. There is nothing in the whole creation, as our beloved Guru Sahibans. They are the doors, through which we reach and merge in Satnam samundar, Wahiguru Akal Purukh. They are the source of all Light, Bliss and Gyan Sat Sree Akal.
  16. Jigyasu jee, you know what,we are all dull, and He is the True Master, He can use anybody as His tools. The gyan, the prem, thepyaar, the budh it is only His Daat. We are nobody. Of course, as per my understanding there are very good and noble souls here among us, I am just amazed of their purity, and believe me, they themselves are not aware of it..... so God bless them. But brother, we can at most try to inspire you, to get up, and stand up on your feet, and devote yoursel at His Feet, but in the end, it is only He who can satisfy your hunger and quench your thrist. It is all His mahima, His wadeeayee. On your other question about missing His Jaap.... Just tell me, how much does it cost to do His Jaap? The Gurmukhs say: Tu mere pran adhaare. He is the sustainer even of the pranas we take to survive, so, is it too much to remeber Him with love? He who has given us so much. Khaatey peetay chaltey phirtey, sowaat jagaat bisar na jaat. Even while eating, drinking, sleeping, or moving around, such should be our love for Him, that we should not forget Him even then in all those states. But to remember Him, is not just to have some thought of Him here and there. No. But we should conscioussly remember Him, by repeating His Name at all times. Does not the Bani say : Saas saas simroh Gobind. We should remember Him with each inhalation and exhalation of oxygen. This is Gurmat in essence. So to say: sorry Sachay Patshah, today I was so busy, that I had no time to dedicate You... I think to say something like this, is showing uncosciouss disrespect to our beloved Wahiguru Jee, and certainly, He does not deserve this from none of us, but only more and more pyaar. The day we spend without His remeberance, He will never tell us anything, but missing that day without devotion towards Him, is a penalty by itself ... Yoiu see, mind will never like to meditate on Him, it is impure, it will not like to do His jaap. But nevertheless, it is the only antidote to sudue it, and the sooner we realize this, the better for us. You see, the sportsmen who go to any championships, train daily for 5 to 8 hours to just get a perishable piece of metal .... And we are so naive, that we want to get the Master of the whole khands, brahmands...just like that? I think it can not be more shameful from our side. We are really "besharam". Laziness and ignorance have no limits... Brother, we are all sick, but if we do not take the daily dose of the medicine of His Naam, how can we ever expect to become well? Of course never. So, is it wise to give useless excuses? Is it much to start doing His Simran even for 15 minutes daily? There is no such fixed time, do it at night before going to sleep, before waking up in the morning... Any time, is subh gharee for His chintan So brother cheer up, do not let the mind to cheat on you with excuses, we are also no less, we are His sikhs, and being a sikh means, being His lover above anything in the whole "kaynaat". Sat Sree Akal.
  17. Jigyasu Jee, all what you ask about, is just the mind playing tricks on you, to shake your faith so that may not do dhyan on Wahiguru. This is how the mind with the aid of other tricks also, cheats the jeeva, the soul...as in this way it ensures the continue of the creation. But with Wahiguru Akal Purkh´s grace, we have to remind ourselves by looking at the "kara", that this is how our Guru Sahibans wants us to become strong as, when dealing with faith and devotion in Him. One has to tell one´s mind, hey look, I am no more going to listen to any of your nonsense. I have given myself to Wahiguru, all the past countless births have been in a waste as I have danced to your tunes, so beware, this birth I am going to give it in the dedication of devotion of my beloved Wahiguru, do what you may, I am not going to leave His "pallav", His Name. Even if you threaten me by making me feel my life is in danger or useless, but nevertheless, I know I have placed myself in His lap, so there is nothing to fear, and I warn you, if you trouble me, then my Rakhwala will also make you pure, and take you also to Sach Khand. So think it seriously, do you want your creation to go on or not? It is your choice. Any how by the way, Wahiguru is my only choice. Bahut janam vichurey teh Madhav, ehe janam Tumare lekhey. Jigyasu jee, sometimes we have to be brave and talk with our mind, in order to contol it, otherwise it just bullies us with ignorance or agyanta. Jigyasu jee, it is for this very purpose of our self defense, that the Guru Sahibans have left the pure paviter Bani for us. So brother it is just to be wise, to use it for our benefit and spiritual uplift. Karmas have terrible effects on us, and we know it is all our fault somewhere though we are not consciouss of it, and the purpose of these effects on us are just to amend us, for our betterment. I know how hard it is, I believe someone in your state, I believe even myself would do so, that preaching others is very easy, but going through it is very difficult. But brother, that is why it is said, remember Him in your good times, then bad times if ever, can be faced cheerfully. This is like, if we learn to swim(His chintan), then if by chance we fall into a river, we can swim and come out with some effort. But on the contrary, if one does not how to swim and falls in the river, and one is told to swim, how can that person ever float and come out(His chintan/His dhyan)? This means when one is going through tough times, and one is told to pray or devote ourselves to Him, it will be very difficult, as the the mind is already restless and unable to concentrate on Him ... That is why it is beautifully said said: Simran se sukh hout hae, simran se dukh jaae, jo sukh mein simran kare, dukh kae ho hoe. . You see, with one´s love and faith for His Lotus Feet, one´s destiny may not change, but one definetely gets, the help, the support from within, to face those karmas. As once destiny is designed even much before one´s coming into life. So brother if ever I can suggest you anything, it is nothing but accept yourself as you are, know your plus and minus points, it means your limitations and slowly try to overcome them, and above all keep your dhyan at His Charan Kamal, through His Naam Simran in all circumstances. May God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  18. Dear LifeIsbeautiful, the best prayer is that, which reminds us of Him and makes us remain in His bhaana too, at all times. Because only by staying in His bhaana, can we have peace of mind and bliss in heart. And so, what is that , according to the Bani, it is His Simran. His Simran, is like calling our Friend in our need. And by repeating His Name constantly with love and faith, He comes and abides within us. Outwardly, in eyes of the world we may still appear to be paupers, but inwardly, due to His grace,we are one with Sachay Patshah. That is His mahantaa, His wadeeayee.... Wah Wah Sachay Patshah, Oouch Apaar Beant Soami. Sat Sree Akal.
  19. Jigyasu Jee, stop pitying yourself, better like yourself. Do not look to your past, howsoever it may have been, just look forward with hope and be cheerful man.... Your self esteem is very low now, so whatever you may try to do, your mind will only project negativity. First of all accept yourself as you are, there is no such magic stick which can be waved and change you instantly. Then, stop dreaming for fantasies ... You have to create your wn destiny and face it cheerfully. All of us in Sikh Sangat, can support you as friends, but it is you ultimately, who has to walk, and show us that, you have respected our faith in you. There is a famous saying:God helps those, who help themselves. In one of your posts above, you were asking if Wahiguru was annoyed with you? Well brother,Wahiguru can never be annoyed with us, fortunately for us He is not like we stupid humans, because if He were to sit and judge us, then there would be no place as a shelter for us in the whole creation .... Just as howsoever a child is bad, the father never condems the son, but that does not mean, that as per laws, police will come and catch his son and the judge will send him to prison .... Even in the worst of the cases, the father will wait with open arms for his child to come back in order to hug him, expecting at the same time, that he has learnt from his mistakes, otherwise he will have to go back to prison .... In our cases, it means "chaurasee ka chakar", if we do not control our impure evil mind by tightly holding to His Lotus Feet, and according to the Bani, this devotion is referred as His Simran. Prabh ka Simran, man kee mael jaae. Prabh ka Simran, garb na baseh. Prabh ka Simran, sabh teh oochaa. You say you are alone, you have no friends.... To an extent, take it as His blessing, as you have all the time in the world to dedicate yourself to Him with utmost prem. No wife,/husband, no children, no friends, no job .... So naturally, it is only time you have, and time is most useful when dedicated to Him, that goes in our account and is our wealth when we will have to leave this world. You see, all happiness, all misery, all sickness...absolutely everything is due to our past karmas, nobody can change the course of those karmas. Be bold, and tell yourself you are going to get out of this temporary situation as nothing is forever. Then slowly and slowy get strong, and try to find whatever little or big job to support yourself; for spiritual progress is not possible, if one lives not on one´s hard earned money. Do not just close your eyes and cry and get sorrowful. Be brave and face reality, and you will eventually see that the hardship was only in your mental frame. Once you become brave, and start helping yourself, you will automaticlally see things changing favourably in your direction... So dear Jigyasu, do not feel alone or loose hope, we are all with you, sending you our best wishes by praying to Akal Purukh. God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  20. Hats off SheikYoBooty, your thoughts are noble, postive, just, and compasionate, whiich are the base for spiritual maturity. You are a true sikh. Keep up these values through out your life. They will take you far away, towards your goal. May Wahiguru bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  21. Simran jee, this video is just too much, the voice in the kirtan, the Shabad, the katha of the gyani kartar.... everything, is just too good. Thank you jee, for sharing it. Wah wah. Sat Sree Akal.
  22. Hi Kira Jee, the only answer to this your question is that, you must be aware, that you are talking about the normal mature people, or we could say, mentally balanced, who will pay attention to the post in a thread... But in this gods huge creation, there are other type of people also, who proudly go the other way round, and do all that, which any normal person will not ever think to do .... as they see and perceive things which in reality do not exist, they live in the bubble of their own delusion. So these people should be pitified, rather than getting into useless debates with them., they just want disharmony, confrontation, troubles, confusions... They are so poor and miserable, that they enjoy with all this negativity.... Technically, they are like virus or worms on the net, so we should have the antivirus of His Naam activated on always, and update it daily with regular devotion, in order to wipe them away, without us getting affected with their nonsense .... So that is it. Sat Sree Akal.
  23. Brother Big_Tera, if someone for some reason is standing in the Sun and gets hot, isn´t it but just natural to give that person a shelter and a glass of spring water to get cooled down, or are we giong to give that person a glass of hot milk? After all, to get angry is to get under the influence of the vikaar of krodh. And when one is under the mental turbulences of anger, our chit gets clouded. So is the case with the remaining vikaars also. Gurmat, tell us to overcome them, not to get carried away by them. Once we overcome them, we are the ones to benefit ourselves, as we will be the masters of our minds in all situations. Not only that, but we will be turned out to become gurmukhs from manmukhs. Then as the mind is subdued with all the vikaars, everything is His Hukum, everything is His bhaana, and we are at peace with ourselves, which is the key to the ultimate True happiness. So brother, what wrong is it in telling someone to act according to Gurmat to gracefully face negative situations, by engaging oneself in His bhakti, and thus gradually overcome the vikaars? Sat Sree Akal.
