  2. Who can tell me which sant I can meet? I don't care for meeting someone who has read lots and can do lots of lectures. Which sant has actually got an advanced avastha? Which sant has actually had advanced spiritual experience?

    Help

vahguru ji ka khaksa vaheguru ji ki fateh dear sister i am so sorry to hear this. the solution is this: go to the panj pyare together as a couple during the next amrit sanchar, so that you can tell them what happened to get marriage advice as well your husband asking for amrit again.
  4. It hasn't broken your amrit as only committing a bajjar kurehit can do that, however you really should pesh infront of the panj pyare to be reconnected with Guru Sahib. This dhill is a very major one due to the length of time so you will probably find it next to impossible to get back on track to full chardikala without the blessings of panj pyare.
  5. Could we please compile a list of great Sikh sants who have now left for sachkhand? It would be a good reference list for names to search when looking for inspirational jeevanis and sakhis. I will start. Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji Mastuana Sant Baba Teja Singh Ji Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji Reru Sahib Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji Nanaksar Sant Baba Ishar Singh Ji Nanaksar Sant Baba Ishar Singh Ji Rara Sahib Sant Baba Mahaharnaam Singh Ji Sant Baba Harnaam Singh Ji Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji Bau Mal Singh Ji Bhai Dr Surinder Singh Ji Rangle Sajjan(multiple gursikhs written about by Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji) Bhai Sahib Bhai Rama Singh Ji Bhai Sahib Bhai Rajinder Singh Ji Dudley Giani Amolak Singh Ji Sant Baba Mitt Singh Ji Nihang Akali Kaur Singh Ji Nihang Sant Baba Puran Singh Ji Kerichowale Bhai Sahib Bhai Norang Singh Ji Sant Baba Sohan Singh Ji Jathedars of Damdami Taksal, eg. 6. dont worry im not asking personally, i am amritdhari. im just asking for information's sake is there anything clear from akal takht which can be shown to people to say that parkash is not allowed in a HOUSE where people bring in meat and alcohol.
  7. Can someone please post up all of the statements from akal takht regarding parkash of guru sahib where there is meat and alcohol. Just a question has it been stated that this applies to homes where meat and alcohol are kept?
  8. Yes, even though we have long moved away, have changed EVERY aspect of our lifestyle, have NO link to it other than our parents happened to live there once, we should let outdated, and now irrelevant controls regulate our lives. NOT. Laws are there to help people live happy, good lives, not to control them for no reason. If a law no longer serves a purpose, and is actually hindering people's lives, then that law is no longer a law that needs to be followed. Regardless, they dont even live there so its reduntant to them no matter what.
  9. Some short film made by some pathetic excuses for human beings from Chicago, called "What the pugg". Apparently the movie company is called "Eight Frames Films". This is absolutely ridiculous. What can be done about this? This kind of rubbish would NEVER happen in the UK. USA sikhs need to man up! THis is what they have written the movie is about: "What The Pugg is a laugh riot about a Sardar (Sikh) boy who is suspected to be a terrorist by his roommate and friends. He gets interrogated and humiliated by his friends and neighbors because of his appearance, that further causes chaos and confusion but the Sikh boy answers it all with vengeance." These pricks have the audacity to have him wear a kesri dastar! They are saying they suspect him to be a terrorist so it seems they are taking the mick out of our freedom movement aswell! these freaks should come uk and meet some real khalistanis lol. once again north americans sort it out. They just copied the name of the movie from akaamazings phrase - which is dumb as that is comedy between fellow sikhs, its like white people copying blacks making 'n**ga jokes'. This is the fb of the film: [Link temporarily removed] This is the film trailer: [Link temporarily removed] Mod note: I don't think we should promote such things on SikhSangat. If we promote it we might end up making it famous. It seems like a very stupid storyline and they don't seem to have much support.
  10. Would you please be kind enough to post a link to the entire book by William Ouseley? Also the article states that it is an Arabic portrait, yet the portion of Ouseley's book posted by the original poster calls it an Indian portrait, suggesting that this is not actually the original contemporary arabic painting,
  11. Agree completely with HSD about media picking complete freaks to represent Sikh and asian males in general. Sikh or not sikh you can just see from a mile off that this param is a serious weirdo! Notice how much bad rep the media gave the Sikh palace guard, yet they lap this guy up, bbc asian network have even called him for an interview. Remember guys, east or west, no one is our friend. Worst thing is he claims to be amritdhari and talks about sikhi (in a warped way), wouldn't have been half as bad if it was someone totally irrelligious who happened to wear a pagh.
  12. They may be bad, but at the end of the day, telling jokes is just that, telling jokes. This guy is a freak with the appearance of a Sikh, more importantly, he is active in 'parchar'.
  13. When that BNP supporting 'rajinder singh' was going to do our besti, I know that akal takht said they would excommunicate him if he did anymore, do you think that Akal takht should do something similar in this scenario?
  14. really good! though one humble suggestion i think sikhelodeon would be better than akaalodeon, both because I personally think it sounds better (its closer to nickelodeon) and I'm not sure if its good to use one of vaheguru's names from bani like that. Please keep up the great work!
  15. Its been going around that the infamous 'Param Singh' of projectnaad and City Sikhs (Both organisations notoroious for being totally against the most basic principles of sikhi, eg. projectnaad used to have a link to RSS website, city sikhs has outings to bars), will be appearing on the low-brow dating show, 'Take Me Out' on ITV, this news has been going around the sangat and was also on the Singhrow facebook page earlier today, which mysteriously has now been deactivated! If you look at the city sikhs facebook page, you can see he is INVOLVED IN PARCHAR to NON-SIKHS! This guy is as far as I am aware amritdhari, and takes an active role in 'parchaar'. His old projectnaad site used to be full of lots of anti-sikh parchar, such as promotion of bhangra dancing as something spiritual, infact he has been photographed wearing a chola while dancing on a dance floor, his site had a link to the RSS website as 'alternative views of sikhi', he promotes homosexuality. He flaunts these proven accusations on his now defunct website with a mocking joke towards gursikhs. I personally feel this next step is very bad, I mean going on a dating show, wearing a dastar and presenting yourself as a parcharak?? What do you all think about this? HE HAS ADMITTED IT ON HIS FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/param.sikhi THIS IS WHAT HE HAS WRITTEN: "Oh wow! The girls from the new series of Take Me Out are in the latest copy of the OK! Magazine UK ! How on earth did I manage to get an opportunity to win a date with one of these Gorgeous 30 Ladies??!! Lucky Me! I'll be on ITV1 this Saturday 5th Jan at 8.45pm" This besharam has even opened a twitter account dedicated to it, looks like he is out for cheap fame https://twitter.com/Param_TakeMeOut here are some pictures of projectnaad members, including this param singh
  16. And that's being used as a justification for police shooting him to death?
  17. its strange, its got lines from different shabads mixed together like one shabad :S
  18. Great text I been getting from some akj singhs: FWD:Attention true Singhs and Singhneeaa of Akhand Keertani Jatha! While the banee of our father, Sri Dashmesh Jee, is being foolishly disowned by manmukhs, you are humbly asked to fulfill a request. Each Gursikh is requested to pledge to sing at least one shabad by Sri Dashmesh Jee during your keertan slots. Lets love our father's baani and proudly carry on the legacy of Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Jee a true lover of Dasam Banee. Plz fwd. Sevaks of Akhand Keertani Jatha.
  19. 'Consciousness' Ji, as you did not write this post, and neither are you Bhai Kulbir Singh, can you please post the links where you find articles by others from in the future. This is because I have seen quite a few posts of yours which are direct copy pastes of Kulbir Singh Ji's works, but with no link, as if trying to give the impression that you are Bhai Kulbir Singh/the writer of the article. Thanks.
  20. Do you think that someone who puts guru sahib in a suitcase (this has been eye witnessed by many singhs from caifornia) can have guru sahib's blessings? Do you think someone without guru sahib's blessings can ever do any good for the panth or anyone for that matter? And please tell me what the 'point' of progressing the panth is? I thought the point of the panth is joining with the guru's feet, if we have oursleves disconnected ourselves from the guru's feet, 'furthering the panth' is pretty pointless isn't it? In fact who are we going to join to the panth if that is our own state?
  21. Interesting post by the ADMIN of this forum: Read my post here: http://forums.wahegu...post__p__204098 . Also read that thread regarding harinder started going global. This guy is total toxic. I would probably wash my hand thousand times if I meet him again. If you want to talk about it then let me know via pm. Why Toxic: 1. Against Sri Dasam Granth. I don't need to explain more. 2. Against Ardas (Modified it). In 90's camps they used to say "Guru maneyo Panth...". That was their first mistake. They probably don't do that again but you will hear them "We are panth" over and over. 3. To them Meat is okay. Mostly 95% of their camps serves meat on their menu. Amritdhari camp goers eat meat regularly. Their official secondary youth sewadar in written admit and all california know that he eats meat openly while wearing kirpan. I can give names but i won't as it will get me in trouble. 4. Guru Granth Sahib ji Beadbi: To them it is certainly a book and they clearly have no respect. They still take guru sahib jee in carry-on roller bags from local gurdwara sahib to camp site. 5. School Syllabus: Sold and still selling their sunday gurdwara school syllabus with countless mistakes (mainly Ardas) and so on. You can find about that online. Bay Area (San Francisco) largest gurdwara sunday school teachers protested for more than one year and finally gave them ultimatum to put their school materials in garbage. Though one good thing out of all bad is that they are pro-sikh movement. They are in together with insaaf and sikh coalition and recently with khalra organization. Other than that they should be really avoided at all cost; especially his interaction with youth or kids.
