Tell me, is Guru Jee also anti Gurmat here for asking Vaheguru for protection and was Vaheguru wrong for fulfilling Guru Jee's ardas? See you Kala Afghanis are now stuck in a paradox. Brother Auzer Jee, I'm not pro India in any way, but how was the stand off a victory for Pakistan? When India's parliament was attacked(which I supported by the way), India deployed thousands of troops on the border not to invade Pakistan but to scare Pakistan. The Pakistani army was leaving everything they could and started to deploy their forces across the border near India. I remember reading interviews of Pakistani soldiers at the time of how they all expected war to begin. It was Musharaf who began to give speeches assuring India that cross border terrorism would stop. After Musharaff's repeated pledges, India finally accepted Pakistan's word and agreed to end the standoff. India lost 789 soldiers, Pakistan till date has not released it's casualty figures. Years later, Pakistanis began to claim victory over this standoff for some unknown reason, actually both sides claimed victory to the stand off. One thing is certain, if there was a war, the only real losers would be the people living near the border in both India and Pakistan. Lets hope for their sake there is never a war between the two. I think most of you are being a little too harsh on Auzer. You guys always post to him with the utmost hostility with insulting or sarcastic remarks relating to his religion in everything he posts. Christians believe all 3 of these entities(God, Jesus, Holy Ghost) is God yet still claim to be a monotheistic faith. 3 does not = to 1. 3 can only = to 3. Sikhs only beleive in one God. In fact our scriptures start off with the word Ik Oankaar which literally means One God. Vaheguru is without any equal, He does not have any partners which we can say are also God.

Our state of mind is such that we always try to find some excuse to not follow the commands of the Gurus. So some times we make one excuse other times another excuse. In Rehras Sahib it is written that our only Goal in taking human form is to follow Gurmat and worship Vaheguru. All other works/things are useless and worthless. This life is temporary and will not last long. When it is over we will regret why didn't we do more Naam Simran, Do more Paath, keep more Rehet. At that time all of our Sehs Sianap manmat thoughts which have guided us away from Gurmat will be no more. In the end only the commands we kept of the Guru will help the soul because in the end that is the only real Dhan(wealth). Sikhs who keep accumulating this wealth(of naam, simran, rehet) will go away from this world as spiritually rich people. Those who don't are Jamma da maal. Sometimes we come under the pressure of family, society, some special girl and don't want to keep our Kesh, but remember when your life is coming to an end and the terrifying Jamms come for you, your family, society and that girl because of whom you did not follow Gurmat will not come to your aid. At the time one greatly regrets why they abandoned Gurmat coming under worldly pressure.

N30 Singh Veer Jee, I can't speak for others but I tend to agree with Singh559 Jee. It is not up to me to confront an elderly man with accusative questions. He has made inaccurate statements and Singhs here have rebutted his claims. Now the onus is on the followers/students of Baba Hari SIngh Jee to ask their Ustad to answer those rebuttals keeping in mind Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee's statements and his flawed logic of saying that it is an insult to the Gurus if they have an unworthy son.

True, that argument by Baba Hari Singh Jee is inconsistent with Sikh history. We have so many examples of the Sikh Gurus whose sons were unworthy, yet how is that an insult to the Gurus? We are literally seeing Sikh history being changed before our eyes. But it's good we have veers who can stand up to distortions. God bless the man who recorded Sant Gurbachan singh Bhindranwale which is the greatest proof of how some of Sant Jee's former students are using his prestigious name to get public recognition yet go against sant Jee on on religious matters.

The reason I ask is because I've seen pictures of Baba Sri Chand jee since childhood and they always show him as blue. Why? I can understand that Hindus depict Raam and Krishan as blue because they were avtars of vishnu who was probably blue. But why is Baba Sri Chand ji blue?

In regards to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, his grand father or maybe great grand father is from Afghanistan and were ethnic Hazaras. His people were persecuted in Afghanistan because of which a great many of them had settled in India at the time. Nusrat's family had settled in Jalandhar. That's why Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan sort of had that chinese look to his eyes.

We barely have Arayins amongst us. Some castes in Punjab almost all it's members became Muslims. Arayins are one of those castes. Zia Ul Haq was also an Arayin from Jalandhar if I'm not mistaken. Almost all the Rajputs of Punjab had also become Muslims, while Rajputs of Hoshiarpur became Sikhs and the Rajputs of the Punjab hills(Himachal and Jammu) remained Hindu.

only 5 veerjee's post and understanding of the udasis is based on Gurbani, Bhai Gurdas Jee and Sant Gurbachan Singh Bhindranwale Jee's interpretation of those scriptures. Then how is only5 jee a protestant? if he is a protestant then so are his sources(Gurbani, Bhai Gurdas Jee, Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji). Only5 jee has systematically shown that Sant Hari Singh Randhawa Ji is in error in his interpretation and they contradict his own vidya ustaad Sant Gurbachan Singh Bhindranwale.
