Im sure Virgin Atlantic has other vegetarian options. Surely they must have a lacto-vegetarian or vegan option?? I even remember seeing an option for a Jain meal. It must be tailored for specific Hindu dietary requirements, a lot of Hindus dont eat onions and garlic and whatnot.

In the time between my last post and this one ive been thinking about it and i think i get why only five Singhs can be Panj Piyare. Its about the keeping the essence of the first Amrit Sanchar and like you said the Panj Piyare must be symbolised in every way. I hope i didnt come across as rude in my other post Veer Ji.

I obviously dont know as much about this as you do but isnt it just circumstantial that the first Panj Piyare were male?? A woman is allowed to be a Granthi but the first Granthi wasnt a woman.

Depends on how you want your pagh to look really. Double patti is oldskool, i dont think its as popular with the younger crowd.

A Kenyan or African style pagh usually refers to the Ramgharia style pagh and Englandee is the modified version worn by everyone. The original Ramgharia style can still be quite big but are worn much higher and most are small either with hardly any point at all or an extreme point and it doesnt always cover the ears. You see some oldies wearing the really small pointy ones and it looks almost like a Brahmins topee. Anyway for the Englandee 5-6 metres not meters but metres sounds about right. :smile2:

Who is Rajoana to the world, who is Shaheed Bhai Jaspal Singh to the rest of the world?? The world doesnt care about a few people, to them they're just random people, its not enough to get their attention. We started to make enough noise and GOI realised the best option would be not to go ahead with the execution, why?? Because our cause would have got so much stronger. Many Sikhs believed that Bhai Rajoana Ji needed to become Shaheed, that he needed to give Shaheedi so that the Sikh qaum could awaken the world to their plight and to the truth. We can only educate the world about the anti-Sikh pogroms now because we have more of a voice then we did back then but dont forget how well its all been covered up, its not easy. If these attacks do happen we've got the capability to get the truth out there. We just have to go about it sensibly. Look at Syria, its all over the news, imagine if they had an overseas community like we do! Oh and BBC de golee maar...theres other ways.

This rubbish obviously shows whos the terrorists and what their real agenda is, i mean they've given a deadline after which they said they're gonna attack innocent people.
