Its funny how Hindus do the same, if anyone can provide proof of an historical reference to this matter other then the fact Hindus do the same I would be surprised. Fateh.

I doubt there is an historical reference to this matter and it’s a more a case of a later influence. Hindus pour milk on their idols and also give thoof to idols aswell and I think this has probably been bought in to Sikhism aswell.

i take it that the name Kirpan was given by our guru's as people also call the kirpan a "tulwar" so what is the diffrence am i rite to say that the guru gave the name kirpan?

I agree, hygiene was taken as a high priority by our guru’s and its hygienic to serve food without any jewellery, go to any fast food place and observe the strict practice imposed on staff, if fast food joints have this much basic knowledge people who do seva should also do the same. Fateh

Yes I agree Sikhs should protest against 7/7 to show the public we are Sikh not Muslims and this will give us the opportunity to promote Sikhism with banners and leaflets to show people who don’t know. If people see that the UBA is present and there is no violence between us but there is harmony this will be a blow and a shock to people and will help them understand that we are not muslims.

I walked past the skin heads at Trafalgar Square and abuse was shouted, from my knowledge it was the BNP (British national party) that tried to act separate from the National Front, and the NF were just being raciest and anti social, if Sikhs protested with the NF it would get the point across that we are against the terrorist Muslims but at the expense of losing community relationship with law abiding Muslims, so it’s a no win

TV crews were present at the Kent Gurdwara today because the gang who threw the fire bomb were caught yesterday night in a pub, police made the arrest last night and a friend of mine was at the gurdwara today while the pardaan was interviewed by the TV crews which was recorded today but I don’t know what news channel or what time this will be on the news, but I hope this also will explain to the public that Sikhs and Muslims are different.
