Think of it like this,this has gone on for decades and has been like an underground music scene, once it becomes mainstream (ie happening to the white community) then it suddenly get noticed. The term "grooming" has only come into play in the last couple of years, they has happened for a lot longer. Just like the term "twerking" has become very famous since Miley Cyrus incident, did not know the word for something African American Women have done for decades, but when a white person does it suddenly it becomes a so called "new craze". Unfortunately if it does not happen to White Middle Class then the media don't pay attention. The thing about the Sikh community is that these things flare up, something is done (i.e smash a few heads), things quiten down and then we put our heads in the sand again. The Pak Muslims will go into "hudabaiya", wait for the next generation to come up and start all over again and they tend to get propped by the older males (cousin/uncle) who did the same things a few years earlier. This cycle needs to be broken.

Why does the Indian Government and establishment have no objection to Christian Evangelical Networks and Saudi Islamist Networks to try to convert the Dalits but have issue for parchar done by Sikhs. The Indian mentality is an odd one, if it comes from outside and can subvert their population which can be used as a fifth column they are OK with it, but anything which is "Dharmic" that does not fit into the Brahmin Hierarchy they are not happy with it. Even if they are able to profit from it (due to the mercantile mentality), ultimately they will be reconquered again and become slaves once more.

If we had a nation of our own, we could do what the Israelis did when they brought their lost tribes from Yemen, Ethiopia etc. A lot of Yemeni and Ethiopian Jews were being persecuted in their respective countries. If people are against the idea of Khalistan, this is an example how having Khalistan would be an advantage.

The common Pakistani muslim answer would be "It happens in all communities", but the question would back would be "How come it is proportionally much higher in your community, how come your community is over-represented?"

My father was also an alcoholic and I asked him why Sikh/Punjabi men when they get to a certain age start to drink heavily. The answer he gave me was "Because we do not wish to live!". I think a lot of Sikh men suffer from depression and try to kill themselves. I have seen relatives in India as well as UK where Sikh males have killed themselves through alcohol, I have seen our men drink around shop corners with the same depressed expressions on their faces like my father. There is a lot of anger, fustration and bitterness. They tend not to talk about these things and deal with these issues and it manifests itself with heavy drinking.

It will be interesting to see how Modi would react if the Shiv Sena and other Marathi parties declare that they want the Gujeratis to leave Mumbai.

I must say that it is a coup for the grooming situation to be on the BBC, considering the fact they tend to show a pro-muslim bias. It will be interesting to see if the islamaphobia card will be thrown in
