  1. Can you do us a favour, leave out these screenshots and videos and answer the question directly
  2. I think there are elements within our Sikhi which in one way is a strength, is also a vulnerability in terms of making us susceptible to the globalist manipulations. One of these double edged qualities is our "open-ness" Another of these double edged qualities is our sense of "egalitarianess" Another one is our sense of "social justice" and standing up to the oppressor and to "protect the weak"
  3. Someone please bullet point what muslims are doing right that we are not doing.
  4. Well we do have the temporal element in our Miri - PirI concept however I do not think this has been clearly defined. It does seem to be open ended (if someone can correct me on this, please do). Islam is after all a political doctrine guised as a faith and it is a system with it's do's and don'ts. It is clearly defined subject to it's interpretations.
  5. In the west, there is something called a "counter culture" which is an alternative to the cheesy mainstream culture. Maybe we need the same. Something that is counter to what is Punjabi mainstream.
  6. Norwalk. Quick Google is in Los Angeles County. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwalk,_California According to Wikipedia, the non Hispanic white is a minority but looking at the names of the Council, they seem to be Hispanic. 70 percent of Norwalk's population is Hispanic. California is a big state and there is vast differences between different areas. The Punjabi and Sikh population seems to be centred in the Central Valley area and the more Northern areas towards the Bay Area and Yuba City. The Southern California Punjabi Sikhs (the ones I know of) seem to be different from the Sikhs from other parts of California. They seem to have some animosity towards the Bay Area Sikhs for some reason. This Gurdwara would have no problems in the more Central and northern areas as the Sikh community as I think that the community is more established there . It seems the Sureno Hispanics seem to have an issue (my perception ) whereas Norte types may not. This is my perception not facts.
  7. I am not talking about the sport/activity, I am talking about the framework. Tiddlywinks is merely a vehicle like cricket or the entertainment industry is. If the opportunity is there for the government apparatus to exploit the situation they will.
  8. If playing tiddlywinks became all the rage in Punjab and Surjit Thumbwalla and Flippy Singh became household names you can bet your bottom dollar that the Congress and BJP will be courting them
  9. Like I said before, it is all perception Punjabis are generally a far more open people compared to people in other states. We tend to air our dirty laundry in public so it makes it look like we are perhaps more bigger drinkers than we think we are whereas people in other parts of India may do a lot more things on the sly and behind closed doors. At least that may be the mpression I am getting.
  10. It is perception. Typically as a more fertile agrarian state, there is a likelihood of there being a more diverse palette in Punjab. At least that is what it seems to suggest.
  11. Interesting chart to show composition of veg v non veg in each state. Punjab is more veg than Gujerati. Surprisingly, Rajasthan has the highest proportion of veg.
  12. Yes Punjabis drink but non-Punjabis drink more than Punjabis That is what is not told. Punjabis are more open about the drinking culture, other states not so much
  13. Depending on what statistics and reports you may read, Punjab may not even be the state with the highest consumption of alcohol. Apparently Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal consume the most alcohol Surprisingly, the southern states also consume high levels of alcohol.
  14. Not really a slur though. A lot of Punjabis (if not most) are non-veg boozing bhangra lovers There is nothing untrue about it.
  15. What you have mentioned here is very important. By alienating well meaning Sikhs (the silent majority) this has allowed a vacuum for the SJW Sikhs to fill the space. It's an own goal. They are ones who are dictating the direction and they need to be dismantled somehow before they become further entrenched. It is from the inaction from the rest of us that is allowing this to happen. If you notice that last few threads we have become to identify this particular liberal SJW cultural marxist type of Sikh as a menace within. Part of this problem we cannot control because it is part of a wider malaise that is impacting many non Sikhs as well. Something needs to change or the pendulum will need to swing. But when that change happens it will happen. Which then leaves us back to what we have control over.
  16. Not a fan of Ranger These are the only Rangers I like:
  17. Pardon my french: Big f'n deal. Who gives a sh1t Why do you people give credence to a court jester. I don't see the Irish give credence if Jedward decides to join Sinn Fein. The problem with the quam is that you follow a bunch of prostitutes who would sell themselves to the highest bidder.

  19. I think this is a script for some Bollywood film. But the media never let facts get in the way of a good story.
