What does the origin meaning of the 'thug' got to do with this discussion. That is just clutching straws. All the attacks are predominantly done by what is seen as the political left (your fellow white lefties) The kkkrackers haven't unleashed their full rage yet, and funny enough thank fully they haven't yet. But what do you think is going to think is going to happen? Do you want a civil war in your country?

I know many Sikhs on the east coast, lots of friends and families. The number of Sikhs and brown people that have been robbed, murdered, stabbed, shot at by blacks is a lot higher than the likes of GurjantGnostic (I suspect is a white middle class surburban liberal who lives somewhere around the west coast ) would realise. There are cities in the US, where blacks make up the majority population, the local politicians are black, the mayor is black, the Chief of Police is black, the police department has substantial number of black police officers. Yet all these problems persist. A lot of non American people seem to think that the US is like the UK or Canada but the US is more like a continent, there are differences and nuances. A lot of non US Sikhs have a black fetish with all the gangster rap and like to appropriate it though never having been to a black neighbourhood. People think it's South Central LA with NWA. What people don't realise is that LA does not have has many blacks (west coast in general does not as compared with other parts of the US) and it is full of brown skinned Hispanics and yellow skinned Asians. Those brown skinned Hispanics can't stand black people. A lot of those Korean business owners cannot stand them either.

A small minority of Indo-Canadians doing drugs and killings which are specific to other drug dealers and gangsters is not the same as looting and burning down neighbourhoods. Vancouver ain't New York, Surrey ain't Jamaica in Queens. SE Vancouver and Burnaby is not Baltimore or South Side Chicago. If you actually travelled in North America you'd see the difference.

I don't watch Eastenders. But some of the characters do fit into the BBC white middle class playbook. Basically, these are the brown people for the white people. If you actually knew how East Coast Sikhs see what these ghetto thugs in places like New York, Baltimore and DC, you'd understand why they may not be so sympathetic. I think it is an insult to Sikhs who lived through the 80's in Pynjab to be compared to these thugs. I did not see Sikhs rioting and looting Amritsar and Jalandhar and Ludhiana when some innocent Sikh got killed. How many black guys in the US went missing, never to be found again. Please explain which police forces in the US was doing what Punjab police was doing. Pure false equivalency. I think most people were behind getting justice for George Floyd. However, if looting and robbing and killings continue then people will lose sympathy. That's how most "unwoke " people will see it. I predict that there is going to be an increase in the black vote for Trump.

Black concerns are valid. If there is going to be an honest conversation regarding black life regarding specifically police brutality then yes. However, you are talking about black life then it is a bigger conversation. There are a lot of black voices who live in these neighbourhoods that are asking questions on black on black murders. The reality is the black murder rate is very high and they are killing each other,far more than cops killing blacks. If a cop kills a black perpertrator who has no choice but to defend themselves and kill that assailant (maybe because the black guy is a drug dealer and is armed ), then it is going to be seen as a racist killer and then riots will ensue. What results is that cops don't bother entering those neighbourhoods. Those neighbourhoods go downhill very fast. That is the elephant in the room. There are blacks that are asking these questions, we only hear from the race hustlers on the media because it suits an agenda.

Looking at these stats. The murder rate is very high for blacks in the US. 90 percent of blacks are murdered by other blacks.

Do you have any stats to prove that all black perpetrators that are killed by police encounters are racially motivated. Maybe some of them are not racially motivated.

This is the problem with the proposed solutions with 'policing'. For every bad officer, there are plenty of more good police officers. Been listening to a lot of podcasts and interviews regarding policing and there is agreement that there needs to be better training and better filtration of better candidates. The BLM are talking about de-funding police, but what does that even mean? If you stop funding for policing, there is no law and order and it gets worse. You get more crime, those areas become no go areas and who are the perpetrators, they are black. Who are the victims, they are black. More blacks get killed. You end up with a worse problem than before.

Wasn't one of BLM's manifesto points about breaking up the family? Was it not found by three miltant black marxist lesbian feminists? Most of the blacks getting murdered are black men, lesbians don't really care about men so who are they really campaigning for? Most of those BLM protest marches have more white people in it (Antifa gets mixed up in it, I sometimes wonder if they are the same organisation)

I think we should be keeping details as well. Two can play at that game.

I'd guess it depends on the short term and the long term. Short term, a Christian Punjab may quell resistance. But long term, the Indian elites would be back to square one. There are foreign powers that would like to break India. A Christian Punjab would galvanise this with more foreign backing. A Christian state on the north west, small christian states on the north east, India's military would be split all over India. They might find themselves spread thin. However, if you are talking about divide and rule tactics and keep Christian missionaries and Sikhs occupied then yes, I see where you are coming from. But missionaries are a bigger threat to the Indian Union than us Sikhs because they have infiltrated more states.
