  1. There does seem to be a kind of fantasy amongst some of the older Sikhs (particularly around the partition) to get off with a muslim woman. Khushwant Singh (the writer) was very much of this particular ilk.
  2. The metro urban city Sikh is quite effeminate (in my opinion). The rural Sikh is far more masculine. They seem to lack some level of masculine dominance which is probably why these urban Sikh girls are going for Hindu boys.
  3. Too much lofty ideals and not enough ground reality. They consider the Sikh man because he is dominant and then they sh!t test to see how dominant we really are. We just cuck ourselves.
  4. Has there ever been an instance where Sikh man has told a muslim woman that she must embrace Sikhi if she wants to marry him and told her that their children must be Sikh also?
  5. The vast majority of Sikhs who have migrated to Australia in the last 10-15 years have via the Student Visa route. In order to go Anglo countries, you need to do an English Language Equivalency Test (What is known as ILETS) The reason Australia became very attractive was because you the ILETS are based on bands. Australia had a lower barrier of entry than other Anglo countries. It was also thought if you stay for a couple of years on student visa you can apply for PR (Permanent Residency ) But this rule has been flouted unbelievably that Australia has placed restrictions and now Canada has become very popular again via the student visa route. Nursing has been become very popular in Punjab because it is gateway out of Punjab to Ingland, Amreeka, Keneda, Australia etc. There are major nursing shortages and a lot of hospitals go to India (particularly Kerala in South India) and Phillipines for recruitment.
  6. This is something that bugged me for a while. This more related to a personal characteristics than something Panth related or Sangat related. I was watching the Netflix show "The Last Dance". It was about the Chicago Bulls basketball team in the 90's and Michael Jordan. In my view, he is the greatest basketball player of all time. But I don't think I would like him as a person because he has too much Ahankaar. He was uber-competitive and was quite a bully at times. I have seen a lot of this type of personality in people who are very ambitious and driven. After winning 6 NBA championships he wasn't satisfied (this is after more than 20 years retirement ), he thinks he could have won more. This man is worth more than 2 billion dollars and he does not seem to have any Santokhi whatsoever. I have thought about, it is that most sportspeople are very competitive and driven. Is the fact that having some Ahankaar is good for you. I don't think that Michael Jordan would be half as successful without it. Does having too much Santokhi make you complacent?
  7. There are so many countries where minorities have oppressed and there has been no tipping point. There is high level hypocrisy by Arab countries and the west and I think India will point the finger back. For example, all those Gulf Arab countries have their oil reserves sitting on Shia lands. Bahrain for example is ruled by a Sunni minority. India will get together with Iran (Shia) and forment trouble back. India is far too big to be taken down and there will be other countries that will back it up like Russia and Iran. This will escalate and cause bigger problems down the line. Only Pakistan has an interest in Kashmir. If hypothetically Kashmir become independent. What do you think will happen? Pakistan will take over and Pakistani Punjabis will swamp the valley. The Kashmiris would become a minority. If Hindutva were like Jihadis, they would have swamped the valley with Hindus years ago and turned Kashmiri muslims into a minority. The Kashmir Muslims with the Pakistani Jihadis ethnically cleansed the Kashmir Pandits out of the valley. For the past 30 years, there are over half million Kashmiri Pandits (Brahmin Hindus) in refugee camps. So Hindu ruled Hindu majority India has top hierarchy caste fair skinned Hindus living as refugees in their own country. On your second point, India sees China as competitors . China's interest in keeping India down and is linked up with Pakistan. So India wants to curb China if possible.
  8. No chance. There has been an attempt to internationalise the Kashmir situation for a couple of decades. India won't let go. The fact that they have split the state, put Ladakh under central control and got rid of article 370, I think has strengthened their hand. Economically they think are stronger and have far more leverage. Leverage is what matters, there will be countries that will play lip service about "self determination of Kashmir people" but they won't do anything if their economic ties are more important. In order for there to be a plebiscite, Pakistan will need to relinquish their control of their occupied areas. Pakistan won't do that. Then there is the question of the part that is controlled by China (Aksai Chin). This is what Pakistan gave to China. China won't relinquish that. That is what India will say and everyone will be back to square one. The logical solution would be to turn the line of control (LOC) into an international border. That won't satisfy Pakistan because of Ghazwa -E-Hind fantasies. The only western power that may have influence is the U.S. The EU is a joke. The US will support an independent Kashmir if there is something in it for them, like an airbase or some military presence. China will not like that, nor will Russia. Then it will be China,Russia,India vs USA and Pakistan. Iran will join in with India, Russia and China. The US cannot take on India, Russia and China. It is too much for them.
  9. Too many Bhaiyas in Punjab reduces the average height by 1 foot!!??
  10. I got those plastic handle grippers. According to Pavel Tsatsouline, (Russian kb, Spetnaz trainer) those plastic ones are for sissies ?? So I have ordered these metal grippers as recommended by the Comrade Pavel from 'Captains of Crush'. Hopefully they will make me more manly ??
  11. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2508805/poultry-farm-that-supplies-asda-tesco-and-sainsburys-boiled-halal-chickens-alive/ The name of the guy is Ranjit Singh Boparan (aka the "Chicken King")
  12. You could say they have transformed from "sparrows to hawks" The intellectual class of Jews are Ashkenazi Jews (from Germany and Eastern Europe) Their intellectualness rose ironically came when Germany rose in 18th/19th century. It was during this time German philosophers, scientists began to take interest in Indian philosophy, religious texts etc. I suspect a lot of the Germanic Jews did too. Robert Oppenheimer (American Ashkenazi Jew) who said to be the father of the atomic bomb quoted "Bhagavad Gita" when dropping the bombs in Hiroshima in WW2. The atomic bomb was developed in part with inspiration from the "divine weapons" mentioned in the Mahabharat.
  13. Afghan Sikhs are Khatri/Aroras. They are traders/mercantile. Profit comes before everything. You can oppress them kill them rape them but tomorrow they will still want your business.
  14. I have heard (cannot confirm) that one of the largest halal poultry farm is owned by Sikhs. Always be mindful of the mercantile element of our community. They are the first to sell out. Make money and make profits but not to the detriment of our Panth. These people need to be publicly shamed. Publicly boycott their businesses so they understand in the only language they understand (their pockets). There is no reason to be halal if 99.9% of your customers are not muslim. This is the enemy within.

  16. One of the main differences between the Sikhi philosophy and Buddhist philosophy it is the Buddhist tendency to detach from life whereas we acommodate life. If you ever get the chance to see a debate between one of our Gursikhs and Buddhist, it is fascinating. The debate between Dharmiks becomes metaphysical, it is a far higher level discussion that you can never have with a Abrahamic.
  17. Petro-dollars have been used for Dawah purposes. It is what they have been told by their imams in their mosques. They now are on the backfoot. However, if you have noticed recently with the covid-19 situation there are a lot of mosques and Islamic institutions helping out hospitals and care homes with food etc. It seems to be some PR offensive to earn some brownie points. I have no idea whether they are genuinely concerned and they are being genuine humanitarian or if this is an opportunity for some Dawah that we are not aware of.
  18. The only neighbouring country that may be able to help them is Pakistan. India has some long term strategies, they are fomenting trouble in Balochistan (basically they are trying to assist the natives there from seceding). There is a lot of resentment in Pakistan over the dominance of Punjabi muslims there. The Indians will keep the Pakistanis occupied with internal problems. Bangladesh are only good for pushing illegal migrants across the border. That country is sinking literally. Modi Government has been in power for several years, I can expect them to be in power for several years more. Amit Shah is being groomed to be his successor and there is another guy after him. BJP has the potential to be in power for decades. With any escalation of muslim violence getting constant beat downs will have a detrimental impact on them. I have no idea what the long term Hindutva plan is for the muslims. They can say to them "you guys wanted a separate Muslim country. If you don't like it,leave for Pakistan" There is no way they will leave for Pakistan and no way Pakistan will accept them. This may prove that muslim brotherhood is a myth. The muslim population in India will be given an ultimatum. Ghar Whapsi or else.
  19. I have heard stories of the GT road from Jalandhar to the Beas being strewn with dead bodies during partition. They are likely to be the dead bodies of muslims. It makes us Sikhs very uncomfortable I think, we are hardwired to be complete savages if the s*** hits the fan. We are a dangerous people.
  20. In time of partition, the bulk of the police force in Punjab was muslim and they were utilised extensively by the muslim mobs. So it quite unbelievable how the muslims of East Punjab were cleared even with overwhelming odds stacked against us. I think the propensity for violence for us Sikhs is greater when gloves come off. Our bloodlust is far higher than both hindus and muslims which is why we are always quite refrained from going through these kinds of acts. Hindus and Muslims when given an advantage will exploit it to it's fullest.
  21. I think as Sikhs, we need to sit back on those reclining chairs and eat popcorn. It won't be a fair fight as the Hindus have the political will to absolute annihilate the Muslims if they choose to. This is mob violence we are talking here. Since 1947, there has been a lot of muslim instigated mob violence in India. We don't hear much about that (media turns a blind eye to it, particular by the English speaking elite) we only hear about it if it is Hindu instigated.
  22. Very interesting. It seems that an assertive Hindu India clearly has ruffled the interests of Kuwait it seems. Their perception of Hindu is of weak and docile so when they don't see that, it threatens them. What would also be interesting is what the role of Pakistan is behind all of this. I am sure some of this interest in the Arab media may have some lobbying from Pakistan as they would be trying to play the "islamic brotherhood angle" behind the scenes and how muslim's are being oppressed. I always wonder how "oppressed communities " grow from 9 per cent in 1947 to 15 percent today. If they were really oppressed they would only be like 3 percent.
  23. The likes of the Gulf States and Iran play a lot of their Shia-Sunni proxy war on the Indian Subcontinent. The majority of Gulf workers from India are Indian muslims. The wahabbi influence on Kerala muslims can be attributed to the Kerala muslims that work in the Gulf. This in part plays to the Hindutva element. The worse case scenario could be Gulf States funding Islamic terrorism (they already fund Islamic activities anyway ) which would mean some kind of economic embargo. India exports manpower and the Gulf exports oil. The question would be who needs who more.
  24. When the Brits came to India via East India Company. They entered via Bengal. It was a Bengali muslim that enabled to enter. (This is from my re-collection) If we ever get a country of our own, then we must also punish the enemy within. I think the Badals and the Patiala family line of Amrinder Singh will need to flushed out. Treachery needs to be made an example of.
