  1. hmm well keeping over two thirds of society unaware and illiterate will give you the advantadge somewhat but Guru ji didn't create no fools , our sin was not to follow up by keeping the literacy higher both in the spiritual and temporal sense .
  2. The British also handed over techniques to carry on diluting and transforming Sikhi to suit the Bahmins , this is their true legacy ...
  3. I visited there for about three weeks in 1996 , superb place , diverse landscapes and the Maoris well what I can say? that they reminded me of my brothers , the sense of humor, leg-pulling, clean humour, strict code of roles in family but in clan much respect for elders and wisdom of their ancestors , they hold their clan meetings in a building which respresents the legends of their kith and kin with heavily carved posts representing these stories and ancestors. The actual building is like being inside the body of a human the posts being the ribs , the clan take off their shoes before entering as it is a sacred space (funny thing is I had my shoes off before they told me about it) . The greeting is to touch your third eye area against the other person's and share a breath whilst holding the right hand of the person this is to connect with the atma/'Manna' of the other. They have a belief system which is spiritual but different from what we know. Very keen warriors strong and fast: the tattoos on the faces are a religious rite and represent victories of their warrior lives , the chieftain daughters also have facial tattoos on chin and lips these signify status in clan.
  4. rhubarb leaves are poisonous I thought they eat lots of kumara -sweet potatoes , Pork at Hangis so I don't know how often they do that ...
  5. The British were hand in hand with the Bahmins from the get go , who do you think the mahants were and who put them there? Who armed the Mahant at Nanakana Sahib and provided the required lack of intervention ? Whose chapalan were Gandhi and Nehru chutting? to what end? Our stupidity was to believe the Anglicanised version of Sikhi (turning the other cheek)and not getting majority of Dalits onto Nanak Naam Jahaz along with Ambedkar ....still not too late look at whats happening under Modi Dalits are getting raped , beaten like the old days before British raj ...latest I read high caste women runs from home so they took revenge on dalit women by forced naked march through town. What NRI sikhs should be doing is setting up co-op bank structure and supporting organic farming techniques as advocated by Bhagat Puran Singh ,by lending money on no-interest basis first , setting up mobile ghar parchaar units which are independent of any other dodgy institutions and help the villagers get help for their addicts , support in learning bani/Gurmukhi, locating clean water or setting up water purification plants for toxic areas . If they have expertise in the sciences especially relating to environmental clean-up they should create an action group for this No one is going to OK this and No one is like us for doing it but it needs to be done . Want to laugh? latest Hinduvta joke is that Kohinoor should be given to India because Maharaja Ranjit SIngh had promised it to the hindu pandits....greedy bandars
  6. because we spend our days in front of PC screens then go home and then the TV screen calls ....there is no mentality of being in peak physical nick to go out there and deal with the world's baddies ... whereas our near ancestors felt ashamed to be sitting idle , if they didn't have to do their own work they would go out and help others , do work for the gurdwara, look at the size of the puratan langar kardieya and the firewood for the chooley you'd have to be really fit and built to do langar sewa even.
  7. I thought about what I said and I was incomplete , yes you can be struck by kirpa whilst in another faith and decide to dedicate yourself mind, body and soul to Guru ji just as the spy of Aurangzeb who witnessed the events of vaisakhi 1699 and became Ajmer Singh or Bhai Rama SIngh ji who came from a Hindu background but again they would leave their past live wholly and be reborn in the house of Dasmesh Pita. Thanks for your wishes , I pray for Waheguru ji's apaar kirpa on all Sikhs to become part of hIs Ladli Fauj
  8. Brother please for your sake please stop recycling nindiya of other dharams ....we cannot say for sure these are his words or words put in his mouth as ALL first hand dictations were burnt along with 11 other handwritten qurans by UTHMAN. Sure we can say hindu anda turk kaana, because it is in Gurbani. Uprardh karnwale nu nipto just as we are told we should that's it OBEY YOUR GURU
  9. veer ji , I was just pointing out that the better course is to take it that the previous paths were diverted onto cul-de-sacs by mayadhari minds , and understand what Guru ji said which many messengers have been sent but in the end their own names were exalted instead of Akal Purakh's . We should understand their views on spiritual and human matters but that should not change our minds about Guru ji or Akal Purakh. Anyways back to some naam japp
  10. but who says so ...the RC approved bible na? the oldest scrolls describe a religion which parallels our own ... if you note commandment 8 it says what our Gurus said about not criticising other religions but respecting all that teach about Akal Purakh , number 7 tells them to do Naam japna .. number 10 is kirt karna the simlarities are many but reading the bible makes one realise just how much taggi has happened
  11. balkaar it is the same as Yeshua , Yeshua never said pray to me he said I am not good noone except Except The Most high is good.his actions in life were similar to Guru ji , but things went south when the RC Church got hold of the scriptures discarding the female contributions, the mystical side , the doctrine of reincarnation, the proper full length commandments which go like this: the original wording of these Commandments was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, and they are pretty darn specific: 12 Commandments after the Spirit - Source: Dead Sea Scrolls: And Jesus said unto them, “Behold a new law I give unto you which is not new but old. Even as Moses gave the Ten Commandments to Israel after the flesh, so also I give unto you the Twelve for the Kingdom of Israel after the Spirit. 1. Ye shall not take away the life of any creature for your pleasure, nor for your profit, nor yet torment it. 2. Ye shall not steal the goods of any, nor gather lands and riches to yourselves beyond your need or use. 3. Ye shall not eat the flesh, nor drink the blood of any slaughtered creature, nor yet any thing which brings disorder to your health or senses. 4. Ye shall not make impure marriages, where love and health are not, nor yet corrupt yourselves, or any creature made pure by the Holy. 5. Ye shall not bear false witness against any nor willfully deceive any by a lie to hurt them. 6. Ye shall not do unto others, as ye would not that others should do unto you. 7. Ye shall worship One Eternal, the Father-Mother in Heaven, of Whom are all things, and reverence the Holy Name. 8. Ye shall revere your fathers and your mothers on earth, whose care is for you, and all the Teachers of Righteousness. 9. Ye shall cherish and protect the weak, and those who are oppressed, and all creatures that suffer wrong. 10. Ye shall work with your hands the things that are good and seemly; so shalt ye eat the fruits of the earth and live long in the land. 11. Ye shall purify yourselves daily and rest the Seventh Day from labor, keeping holy the Sabbaths and the Festival of your God. 12: Ye shall do unto others as ye would that others should do unto you.* [aka The Golden Rule] if they are able to fabricate the myth of the virgin birth etc and change the emphasis by omission and additions onto Yeshua from Yahweh/Ilah/Elohim adonai why should the tribes chiefs of Arabia any different? When Hazrat Mohammed went to Medina he only had 25 followers , he couldn't convinced his own people to listen to him because they loved their warring ways , killing kith and kin for power. I have my doubts about a man who says Maa ke pair meh jannat hai can in the same breathe do what he is accused of . If Hazrat Mohammed followed Akal Purakh at the start we know that his mission failed because people started praises his name more than Allah's that is faisla by Guru ji. Uthman created this exaltation of the violence and capture of war booty, and women. It would make sense to me that like the Roman Pagans they wanted to carry on their ungodly ways under the stamp of approval of a faith Mohammed left the Arabs them that excuse . Mohammed's name is not mentioned in wider Arabian literature until perhaps more than 150 years after his death.
  12. calm down ....Khalsa have to give their head to Guru ji, partake amrit and ONLY follow GURU Granth Sahib ji and keep the rehit of Guru ji to be considered as such, no Mohammeddan will agree to that . however yes it is true that all will become Sikhs of Akal Purakh if they truly act on advice of Guru ji so you have got it back to front all are sikhs but only the ones who take amrit and keep rehit is Khalsa.
  13. I agree that if Guru ji spoke no ill of Muhammed and that Baba Harnam SIngh Rampur Khedewale mentions in Se kineiya he saw Hazrat Muhammed and Yeshua they are not pappi that people have made out but people with an ulterior motive of power mongering have corrupted the message most scholars see a distinct difference in early writings and the later writings in the quran , most of the bloodshed and hatred is in the Medina section of the quran . One question that been posed the the holy city was never Mecca because ALL the early mosques lined up towards Petra not Mecca up until 725ce but the message was hijacked by Uthman to create an Arab centric faith in a city he controlled , no trade routes went by Mecca until the advent of the his approved quran (he burnt all original writings captured by others, there were 11 orginal hand written 'qurans'.
  14. love de chakar vich na pe.....manglik is bahminik thinking you are Gursikh hopefully, if he has already had love affair with someone taht shows 1. he is not stable but fickle/chanchal person 2. he doesn't follow Guru ji's advice 3. the fact he refuses to marry you should make you think twice . you are confusing yourself one minute you say he refuses to marry you next he has agreed which is it ? Is he even SIkh because he doesn't sound it ?... the only love you need is Akal Purakh's love , rest of life will be simple ...no man or woman is ever going to be there for you like Waheguru so put your trust there only. I would walk away very fast from this guy and stop daydreaming about him. Read Gurbani do vichar think about your Kaur Ancestors and what they would think of such behaviour, you are here to complete your life mission which is to go home to Akal Purakh if you have family or not is up to His Hukam just live in that hukam .
  15. Khalsa are NOT a sect they are dedicated Gursikhs i.e. what the panth should be .
  16. I am a woman and believe me , women are capable of doing without the deed permanently unlike this fake <banned word filter activated> myth would have you believe ... that doesn't make them citizens of lesbos. Most guys I know seem to crow about their inability to temper their kaam and feel proud that are like the proverbial dog
  17. I've been thinking about this and if reincarnation could be linked into this , if the jeev was female and became Male in this janam could this explain internal not matching external? Anyway I know there are theories of maternal hormonal mis-staging in s in utero that change brain characteristics of fetus.
  18. I would be just as adverse to hetero groomers too , but i meant in terms of persuading the kids to go counter to their natural hetero nature ... not saying that all gays are like that have many uni friends who were ace people but i didn't want to ask or know about their love lives .
  19. I think it is best to be neither for or against just like Guru ji , if they don't try to indoctrinate and groom my friends and family I have no axe to grind 'ape beej ape kahe'
  20. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa ,waheguru ji ki fateh , since there are six in our squad budget has been the key lately twins 16 eldest 18 so 5 adults (yikes) what we have done is go self-catering apartments/villas , we have done the following places : Sardinia twice once in north the latest in the south (hubby and son did scuba not much sea life) , food is fresh not too expensive at supermarket , beaches are plentiful , sandy , gentle sloping into sea so good for toddlers , water transperant and turquoise , locals live in villages so quiet and polite . Can hire boats for day treks and get dropped to isolated beaches along the way. Gomera did villa quiet not much food choice unless prepared to drive to larger towns ... did a couple of days at a 'sports clubs resort' good if you want a more active holiday, great hiking potential. Tenerife not really my thing, would get bored rigid unless i wanted to spend everyday at the beach. Rome city break with Hubby recommend downloading Frommers.com walking routes to explore city, was doing raw food vegan at the time loads of fresh fruit and veg and who doesn't like pasta? Paris is getting better a few places are now catering to veggies (look online for lists ) but not many , used frommers again great walking place but is very very expensive. Am going to Guernsey for two weeks soon , speak english , self-catering apartment very reasonable walking distance from beach, going by ferry cheap as chips and loads of activities to do , hubby and so doing beach walk-in scuba dives , coasteering and others horseriding .
  21. well didn't you say you scared your peers silly ?...anyhows I think perhaps your sense of humour got left behind .... kids can be brilliant incisive truthfull anf fearless ...remember after all they are just trainee adults , sure you get the odd psycho but generally the parents get what is assigned by Akal Purakh and just get on with it.No helicopter parent is not me but, i would like to know that the kids know the truth of the world instead of the brainwashing media's portrayal of everything. That is after all the duty of a parent according to gurbani. When they are little they are just sponges of everything so it's a good opportunity to learn to watch your own thought processes , words and actions and do vicharna
  22. and we'll be hearing how they terrified their peers and did mindtricks to their heart's delight too ?
