  1. Twisted western logics? So a Parbandhak Committee has no obligations? For the record...I am against mixed marriages. You appear to be against logical thinking. There is a Sandesh/Ardesh issued by the Sri Akaal Takht....under what circumstances does a committee still allow these weddings to be booked? Try addressing my point rather than simplistic comments, showing your own narrow understanding of the real world. Its more realistic/achievable to enforce a rule/law by targeting the providers of a service than the users. That's why laws exist. Anand Kharaj is for Amritdhari only? Lmao....lets talk about twisted logic shall we?
  2. How is it right to protest against somebody's wedding? The ONLY fault lies with the Parbandhak Committee of the Gurdwara. These young heroes need to identify the core of the issue rather than trying to heal skin cancer with a skin graft. It's painful and makes the body look awful. If you don't like a play...you lobby the theatre or a programme...you lobby the channel that broadcast it. So its only logical that these protests should be targetting committees....not those who clearly try it on...and succeed. If a 12 year old gets served alcohol at the local off licence...its the off licence owner who gets taken to court...not the little rascal who tried it on and got away with it. Lets clean our own home first shall we???
  3. They have replied to a comment like, its to get it on the screen when jb fans use the tag or something. NNot really bothered about the tags its the info their spreading that is good seva. Its only got 500 odd likes so that is indicative to me that either they aint marketing it right or Sikhs don't support them. Sad really....even on here only 2 people have commented. Oh well....hey ho☺☺
  4. This site is really opening my eyes. I mean I thought I knew what had happened to us in Delhi but the details that are known are crazy. Has anyone else got round to checking it out?
  5. This seems to be all over facebook at the moment. So thought I'd share it with the Sangat here... https://m.facebook.com/84ndhi
  6. Token yes....you say alot but use onky the same names....we all know the Khans you speak of....so even if I agree that there are 50 prominent muslims...out of 499mn lol....oh yeah they're taking over mate. You've assumed I watch Bollywood movies yet are amazed that I know so little about its inner workings....lol Whats clear is, you've not even addressed the multitude of Hindu actors, writers and producers...focusing solely on muslims...if that's the only source of danger you can sense then I fear for those to whom you are charged with protecting. I have no intention of engaging in a protracted dialogue with you regarding this 'issue'....suffice to say, brother keep an open mind....
  7. A. I don't watch Bollywood movies and haven't watched them for three decades. So your assumption is meaningless. B. Bollywood is in maharashtra, home of the Shiv Sanna....do your own research brother...muslims are given token prominence to hide their subjugation a lá manmohan being PM.
  8. Gk is not averse to sitting and answering questions. It just surprises me that noone attempted to arrange a sit down dialogue....just shouting questions regardless of their validity is pointless...counter-productive even.
  9. It seems that the op would have us believe that Bollywood is muslim dominated....Whereas in reality its every bit asmuch Hollywood propagandist as that propaganda enshrined in the Gobbels doctrine....used by Hindutva to control the 1bn people of India
  10. What's escaped me is....why would Hindu dominated Bollywood do this....are we not ignoring abishek hrithik ajay d3vgun jimmy shergill govinda amitabh mithun darminder and his sons...?
  11. This feels real. Is it on any news channels? This is the only place I've heard of this news. If it was propaganda, then surely it would be on a constant stream/loop?
  12. 13Mirch Thank you for the first sensible reply. I think I have understood....
  13. Hsisingh, the problems you speak of are societal. The work of the Sikh Federation is to create an environment where Sikhi can regain and protect its security and self esteem. This includes holding signatories to account for treaties not honoured, regardless of the time elapsed. Whilst female foeticide and the current drug epidemic is of great importance, it's also the responsibility of the democratically elected government of both Panjab and India. Do you expect UK civil liberties organisations to focus on ground level issues or government malpractice?
  14. Sport has sadly become the most popular haven for the tribal racist ignorant chavs who will boo or cheer without attaching personal opinion to anything. Sad really.
  15. Ok. I will rephrase the same question. Is it possible to believe that Bhagat Ravidass was not necessarily a follower of our Guru's ideology but made limited pronouncements of enlightened thought? Thus not quite a disciple? Whether he was a Hindu or not is actually irrelevant. I ask these questions in relation to the original post only.....
  16. Jagtar Singh Paaji, I appreciate your feedback. However I'm still stuck by the point of no money spent on lawyers, with no plans initiated. Legal option is our only option, that is where you will get the support of the masses. No where else. This does not have to be confrontational, but can be used to get a more productive dialogue started and can yield results in the form of a settlement outside of court. For this to happen, it first needs to be began.
  17. So, is it possible that Bhagat Ravidass was and remained a Hindu? That his limited inclusion is an indication of his limited enlightenment? Dastardhari or otherwise?
