as a hukam to most amritdharis ..... wash you hair twice a week to keep the cleanliness intact and the thing about the nails is not at all justifiable with the hair because hair are on the top .....having utmost spiritual importance according to many religions .......why wud ancient hindus like in dwaapar yug like arjun and Lord Krishan would keep their long hair........think about it ..... theres a reason to why we all have been given a common identity.....there a symbolic meaning to it .....think about it.....

hmm..... well I kinda think that it has more to do with educating vast amounts of non sikhs in the world about the reality of sikhism and dastaar....because one of the most popular misconceptions amongst most non sikhs is that sikhs and their dastaars symbolize the middle east identity........ until and unless we cant clear those misconceptions most non sikh communities will continue to prejudice against sikhs.......

.sau sakhi has to have some logical mystery behind its theme......i believe tht there are many things that are ought to be known and should be known based on our own scriptures. Most sikhs still fully dont understand the central theme behind these books as a perfect example the Sarabh Loh Granth......may be many of you out here dont like to talk or even hear about these things .......but truth has to come out some day or the other... so what if they actually are trying to warn us of future adversities ..... westerners as an example still believe Nostradamus and his predictions ...most above of all most of them are becoming true...... why is it so hard for us to understand...... these predictions might have reason behind them.... and its worth digging the mystery behind those reasons ....... talking about controversy <_< why are being so secluded of what we have been gifted by our father gurus.... or should I say something always been wrong with our approach ..... why are there so many fingers and questions being raised on granths like sau sakhi and others.....oh yes ! yo all know what am talking about............

good for u man :wub: ......i like my college better.... got our own sikh student association.....do bunch of stuff related to sikhism..... educating others and organizing langar...plus a decent sikh population .... wt else could u ask for :D

cool....yea i feel that.... most catholic schools can be stubborn in their norms regarding other religions.....but they got some good reputation ..... like most kids in my college graduated from catholic schools... but most sikhs have totally different story....they might not prefer here going to catholic schools.....but yea one good thing about college is tht u can organize and do some wicked stuff and hang out.....

u shud be fine in a year or so from now..... took me a while to get used to tht feeling......body sensitizes the first time but eventually u ll get rid of it...but yea try not to tie the dumalla too tight i guess.......

how long has been since u first started tying dumalla?....coz it so happened with me ..... like during my initial days of tying dastaar and going to school....i used to get the same sensation....
