  1. Bhai ji, if we just practiced the inherent compassion and fairness embedded in the egalitarian social structure of Sikhi amongst ourselves more, I think we'd be struggling with the amount of converts we'd have coming in. But people aren't fools, once they get in, and see the reality of commonly practiced discrimination in the panth, many will soon get disillusioned and want to leave - exactly like a lot of the Mazhbhis and Ravidasias did. It's pointless highlighting the egalitarian nature of Sikhi when we can go to practically any village in Panjab and see it's not actually practiced. In this case, we are actually worse than Hindus. At least they have a mandate for their discrimination from certain 'scriptures' of theirs. We don't. Another danger point is being used and having our resources diminished by outsiders. I used to go to this small back street Gurdwara in East London years ago, and they'd be some nonSikhs (probably illegal immigrants?) who'd eat langar, but wouldn't matha tek. I remember one pardaan having a row about this with a sullah once. Some people see us as easy touches, or people who are easy to make fools of. We need to address that too.
  2. You're contradicting yourself, one minutes it's 'over the top' the next there is 'definitely something valid' about this very 'over the top' statement. Modern western culture IS based on portrayals or narratives of nonwhite men as backwards and misogynistic in comparison to themselves. That's undisputable. Given the previous monopoly they had on media (which has diminished somewhat in modern times because of the internet), it's no surprise that many ethnic females bought into that narrative. When I was growing up, the angry, mouthy 'independent' Sikh women, who insisted on sh@gging around wasn't uncommon. I think we are going through an interesting time though, all the exposure of grooming and all the abuse hidden in western society in care homes, the BBC, Hollywood etc. etc. seems to be filtering through to intelligent apneean, who are more clued up now. Over the years I've seen a fair few pretty adult apneean practically getting groomed in various office environments. The goray will isolate her, promote her, make her go to all manner of 'business meetings' including bars and restaurants until she breaks down from the subtle pressure and goes out with one. Another thing is that not all males have the same options, plenty of apnay males could easily marry out (because they are perceived as good looking and/or charismatic by females of other races) but don't. Some males do. From my experience it looks like those guys who struggle to attract females are the most vocal about the perceived 'betrayal' of the womenfolk. A lot of them could do with working on themselves often, and trying to understand the dynamics at play along CP lines. Crying about women only makes one look more beta and sad.
  3. Anglos promoting their culture globally? Giving ethnic women a victim complex, whilst also encouraging/manipulating them to be promiscuous perhaps?
  4. There is another aspect to it as well. A lot of other communities like to parade the convertee women like some sort of trophy. Anglos do it BIG TIME and start plastering them all over the media as 'role models' for the rest of us. Sullay used to put them on stages back in the day to sl@g off their previous community. It's so crass, and what makes me laugh is just how addicted to attention these b1tches are. They are so hooked on it, they can't even see how they are being used like tools. lol
  5. Basically, if the cat throws up undigested food (that looks the same as it did going in), it's probably because they've wolfed it down too quickly. You have to slow them down with the eating. I found stopping them every few bites helps. I have to say: seeing a regurgitated rat was gross. lol!
  6. It's deeper than just this though isn't it. We've yet to have hordes of Sikh guys being tricked into becoming 'rent-boys', or converting (for a women) and then openly spouting vitriol against Sikhi (obviously because their new 'partner' and their community encourages them to do so), but we can't say the same the other way round sadly.
  7. Russian father who killed 'paedophile' friend after finding footage of him 'raping his eight-year-old girl' should not face murder charge, say locals Oleg Sviridov, 32, kept mobile phone videos of his abuse of several children Vyacheslav M, 34, was drinking with friend Sviridov when he saw the footage Sviridov allegedly raped his friend's eight-year-old daughter Police say the footage on his phone shows he had abused local kids for years Sviridov's body was discovered in the forest close to the village Vyacheslav has received an outpouring of support from locals and online A father detained for 'killing a paedophile' who 'raped' his daughter aged just eight years old should not face a murder charge, insist Russians in a groundswell of support. Alleged child sex attacker Oleg Sviridov, 32, kept mobile phone videos of his abuse of several children in Vintai village in the Russia's Samara region, according to law enforcement officials. Rocket engine factory worker Vyacheslav M, 34, was drinking with his friend Sviridov, when he saw footage on the man's phone showing him raping Vyacheslav's daughter, now nine. The father immediately confronted Sviridov, who ran away before Vyacheslav could act. The paedophile was a close friend of Vyacheslav's family and had baby-sat his daughter whom he sexually abused on multiple occasions. Vyacheslav reported the rapes to local police who launched a manhunt for Sviridov. But the distraught father managed to track down the alleged paedophile before the local police force and stabbed him to death. The body of alleged paedophile Oleg Sviridov, 32, was found near Vintai village in Russia's Samara region after the father of a child he abused stabbed him to death. Vyacheslav later told police that Sviridov had 'stumbled on the knife during a quarrel' in a forest near the village, purporting that he had not intentionally murdered him with the blade. The body of the alleged paedophile was found near the village on Thursday, more than a week after Vyacheslav had seen the abusive video. Vyacheslav was detained following the discovery of the body and the case is under investigation. Criminal cases have also been opened into the sexual abuse of three children filmed on Sviridov's mobile. Police sources said that the deceased man's phone contained other sickening videos which showed violent rapes of other village girls, aged six and 11. The videos indicated that the dead suspect had been abusing children for five years before Vyacheslav discovered the footage on his phone. Sviridov (left) and Vyacheslav (right) were friends and Vyacheslav discovered evidence of his friend's crimes while they were drinking together Villagers in Vintai and online commenters alike have demanded that Vyacheslav should not face a murder charge. 'He is not a murderer - he protected his daughter and our children too,' said one local. 'Everyone is on his side.' Prominent TV journalist and former Russian presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak told her followers: 'All parents are standing up for the paedophile's killer.' Another commenter Anna Plekhanova said: 'If the crime is proven by video facts, then is the girl's father wrong? 'Any normal parent, mother or father, would have torn apart such a paedophile right on the spot. 'Protecting children is the direct responsibility of parents.' Yulia Salinder added: 'It's good that he killed the <banned word filter activated> because our law would have put him in jail for only eight years - or even less - and he would be out again.' Vladimir Novikov said: 'It is necessary to introduce the death penalty for paedophiles or we will see the lynching of non-humans.' Svetlana Katargina commented: 'The father can be understood. 'Such wild creatures have no place in this world and paedophilia cannot be cured. 'Perpetrators get out of jail and start to rape children again.' Sviridov's mother said that her son had often been a babysitter for Vyacheslav's children and the two men had been long-time friends. 'I don't know how it got to this,' she said, referring to the rape of Vyacheslav's daughter. 'He must have been drunk. Most likely he was drunk. They left their children with him all the time. 'When he baby-sat these girls he came back home as normal, in a good mood.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9954819/Russian-father-killed-paedophile-friend-not-face-murder-charge-say-locals.html
  8. There is a clear pattern emerging from the west. Disrupt and undermine all societal norms of your 'enemy' and drag them back to the dark ages through deceit, war, manipulation, propaganda, bribery, treachery, theft, sabotage, appealing to the greedy and selfish to encourage infighting and disunity, as well as installing 'leaders' who will do your bidding - then come in as white knight saviours, claiming that these people are inherently savage and backwards - and that out of pure benevolence and altruism, you wish to 'civilise' them. Then steal from, and use them, as much as possible, before you exit their lands. And usually when you leave, you gift them with internal bloodshed, and new 'boundaries' that result in perpetual conflict long after you've exited. Never admit to anything you've done and act like everything you did was because you cared for these people.
  9. Here's more khoj of the language veer. I suspected it was from Patna Sahib from the
  10. You should read this if you haven't before veer. It's informative. https://www.scribd.com/document/50691250/Bhai-Vir-Singh-s-editing-of-Panth-Prakash-by-Dr-Harinder-Singh-Chopra-Dr-Surjit-Hans
  11. If you look at old accounts of early Sikh wars, the pathaan strategy of joining a force in large numbers (as mercenary's) and then leaving in droves on the eve of important battles is a norm. They even did it to Guru Maharaj Gobind Singh ji. It makes me laugh when I still see people fall for this one. Something is really fishy about the acquisition of weapons by the taliban here: either the US has some secret back deal with them, or the Afghan Army had an agreement to stand down and surrender weapons to the talis on the withdrawal? You would have thought the yanks would have blown them up or something before retreating?? Maybe they made them unusable? In any case the propaganda win for the talis is off the scale. They are even apparently saying 'let this be a warning to anyone else who wants to invade, and this this be a lesson to our children (how we beat superpowers with AK47s). Twice now, they f**ked over Russian, and now the US.
  12. Let me put it this way veer. Just in the last couple of years, just how many sources have we looked at like Sainapati's Sri Gursobha, Bhangu's Panth Prakash, or even old rahit namas. What about all the sources of the anglo-Sikh wars we've looked at. Look at how much we've learnt that isn't commonly known by apnay. Just the other week finding an old firman/hukamnama on a UK auctioneer's website alone uncovered some hitherto unknown but important part of our ithihaas! The execution of top level Harmandir Sahib (Takhat Patna Sahib) sevadaars no less. When do you ever hear about the stuff we, who are just ahhhm everyday bundhay, have discovered? What is that saying about the overall quality of 'scholars' in our panth? Are they really 'scholarly' in that they try and discover/uncover hidden truths/history, or are they essentially members of a conservative fraternity that operates along accepted and defined lines with no deviation? To me it looks like that we've got this REALLY conservative streak in our community that absolutely revolts at anything that remotely contradicts their own personal preconceptions. And the poor parcharaks seem to have their hands tied behind their backs, because I feel they get browbeaten into being quiet and just singing the acceptable song, lest they lose their position. You know what apnay are like, they'll start fighting over stuff like this! When you start looking at our ithihaas without blinkers, (to me) it looks like many of our ancestors were very different from the image created by conservative parcharaks.
  13. Looks like the Taliban are a full on modern army now with and air force as well. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9943629/Taliban-Air-Force-Jihadists-seize-48-aircraft-aerial-firepower-Nato-members.html
  14. There's some vibration thing some people seem to get from bhagti. I don't know how it works but it's really powerful. Just being around it has an affect on people who aren't closed to these things. As I'm writing this I'm also realising that it's similar to what the people who become shardaloos of dera babay sometimes say?????
  15. The thing that makes me laugh about this is when they chuckle like that, they look around them and their flying monkeys join in at the 'wry observation'. I don't think any of it is heart felt. Seems obnoxiously smug from outside.
  16. Thank you! Also they change sakhis and add details that didn't exist in the original sources. Like dialogues that aren't recorded or mentioned anywhere. I know this is probably to paint a picture in the audiences mind but still.... you can create subtle shifts in message in this way, even unintentionally. What I'm getting from the last few posts is that the ground reality is that people have certain preferences for obtaining knowledge. Some prefer to passively listen to it via katha, others prefer to read and don't like this approach, some like to actually have the physical presence of someone they perceive to spiritually uplifted (i.e. dera baba). Some can memorise large amounts of bani but it doesn't seem to have much impact on their ethics or morals. For the record I'm not against sants, and I'm not against sampardayas that preserve important aspects of Sikhi. If judging a Sikh subcommunity on their contribution to the K'stan lehar is the standard, even nihungs would come out of that looking bad.
  17. University student, 21, who downloaded 70,000 neo-Nazi and white supremacist documents avoids jail as judge orders him to read Dickens and Austen instead and says he will TEST him at their next hearing Ben John, 21, caught with 67,788 white supremacist and neo-Nazi documents He was also found to have downloaded The Anarchist Cookbook on a hard drive Was convicted as Leicester Crown Court of terrorism and handed two-year suspended sentence Judge Timothy Spencer QC told John to read classic novels so he could test him https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9944207/Student-caught-70-000-white-supremacist-documents-bomb-making-manual-avoids-jail.html?ns_mchannel=rss&ico=taboola_feed_article_desktop_news
  18. I think you just explained it. Rote repetition, with no deep conviction. What seems to happen commonly (from what I've seen), is that they start to view bani as some sort of mantra to gain the material goals they want. I've seen people switch babay because one wasn't getting them the results they wanted! lol There is some recognition of these characteristics by some apnay, but they are a minority.
  19. I think it's that sociopathic trait; makes them untrusting and skeptical because they view most people as corrupted like themselves?
  20. That requires a certain degree of intelligence. Put simply, our quom (especially rural lot) has an allergy to reading by the looks of it. I understand in the past, with high levels of illiteracy in certain groups, they might have had to fully rely on exposition via spoken presentations (katha), but now? It's just some form of mental laziness by the looks of it? Plus, even if we got over that. From what I've read over the years, a lot of the books available are biased and corrupted themselves. A lot of them in the past pushed some 'Sikhism is modren religion' that lined it up with western secular thinking (which probably explains why we have so many of these types today?) It's like there is a lot of work to be done, and a lot of what has been done isn't particularly useful.
  21. Remember old Panjabi films? It was something that the actors would invariably do (along with exaggerated laughing) just before snatching some hapless girl strolling through the khet for no good.
