  1. Blue eyes, hazel eyes, bla bla bla mean absolutely nothing. Even if you have blue eyes it don't mean you look European, South Asians with light eyes still look foreign and its hardly rare among northern indians anyway. In Punjab you see many people with brown hair and lighter eyes
  2. These coconut Raj's are the worst kind of Indians you get. They are more than happy to bend over and serve goreh. Here's a Sikh with his white friend protesting against the Opening of a Sikh School. Someone like him probably felt under pressure from his white neighbors, who were strongly against the opening of the sikh school and even went to the prime minister. It makes you wonder what other things some sikhs can do against their own community to please their non sikh neighbors
  3. But isn't Sikhi itself a miracle? The fact the Waheguru himself came down to earth in the form of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, there is no scientific explanation for this. And what about the miracles in Gurbani, like how Guru Arjan Dev Ji tells us how waheguru has killed sulhi khan who was coming to attack Guru ji, Waheguru intervening and slaying sulhi khan is that not a miracle too? Guru Nanak Dev ji also tells us how Waheguru has sent the Mughals to India as the messenger of death as the people of India had forgotten the truth. Divine interventions are miracles and Guru Granth Sahib ji talks about these. So how is Guru Nanak Dev ji stopping a boulder with his hand any different? And what about Sikhs who have had visions of the Gurus
  4. Punjabis never really used to eat meat, especially not the ones living in pinds.
  5. Punjab having the highest level of vegetarians, does that not make us "stand out" as the other states eat meat? But yes i don't understand why sikhs who eat meat why they don't eat beef. When i used to eat meat i used to eat beef too and i told this gujarati girl at work and she got really upset, started having a go at me and didn't speak to me for 2 weeks hahah!
  6. Iv read it, the author makes guru ji sound like a desh bhakt. I understand how the author was talking about indians being physically and mentally enslaved by the muslims and how guru ji was waking them and encouraging them to fight back but the author made it sound as if guru jis prime purpose was to fight for india and indians. Its guru jis life from a hindu point of view basically
  7. lmao you make me laugh. match started of well but then went down hill during the second half lol . see most younger goreh are OK its some of the older white ladies which are odd, but then again its probably a generation thing. the goreh where i work love eating jalebis, ladoos, spring rolls etc haha! tbh goreh don't really have a culture, they dumped that when they dumped the church, unless Saturday night tv with a curry or getting drunk and puking/pissing on street corners on a friday night out is gorah culture lol. England is still better than most countries, the religious freedom, equality, freedom of speech, living standards etc is better than a lot of countries. at least we don't have psychos walking into schools and shooting kids like in America, or suppression and torture like in Muslim countries or the level of corruption in countries like India.
  8. LOL ok, goreh are OK in general, iv never really had any bad experience with them. goris are often nice and chatty with me haha! apart from the 2 or 3 times where i got onto a train and the old white ladies clutched onto their handbags and stared at me throughout the whole journey as if iv got a bomb on me lol
  9. Talking of predictions, is it true guru ji said that no one should construct a gurdwara in his memory or their family line will end, and then maharaja ranjit singh go'es on and builds takt hazur sahib and we all know how his family ended up. Did guru ji really say this or is it just folklore? Because when i went hazur sahib there was a information board explaining how guru ji said that every sikh must come here at least once before sixty something
  10. Some interesting demographics from the Fatehabad district in Haryana Language 1961[8] 2001[9] Hindi 84.40% 56.20% Punjabi 15.60% 42.67% Urdu — 0.13% Other — 1.00% Hinduism   82.72% Sikhism   16.03% Islam   0.89% Others   0.37% Punjabi has gone from 15% to 42% perhaps in another decade there would be more Punjabi speakers in this district than Hindi speakers
  11. Haryanvi folk culture, If your not told its Haryanvi you would basically think its Punjabis.
  12. I like your posts lol! Haryana just looks like Punjab, when driving back and forth from Delhi airport you go through harayana and its basically identical. The fields, houses, roads and most of the people look Punjabi. But then again need to remember that they speak Hindi and thats the whole reason it was carved out. If Punjab and Haryana were made into one state again wouldn't there be more Hindi speaking people than punjabi?
  13. I dunno, well every time I walk past the gurdwara i bow my head. Iv been doing that since I was a kid. The gurdwara is close to my house so whenever we used go school or anywhere I used to bow, still do it
  14. Yeah it would be nice if there are younger people running gurdwareh. From what I know there are younger parties who want to be given a chance but no one votes for them when the gurdwara elections happen.
  15. Pakistan was created by the Muslim elite from places like Uttar Pradesh. The rich and elite were always the first to find things out during the British empire, when the rich Muslims sniffed out that the British were gnna leave soon they questioned their own economical standing in a Hindu majority country. So they, the elite, came up with a concept of a new Islamic country where they would be ruling and hogging all the money. If you look at the common paki from the pind their situation is no different from your common Punjabi from the pind, the only people that gained from the partition were the rich and elite, your common pind folks are in the same situation as they were 70 years back. The whole point of Pakistan was so the Muslim rich could stay rich and not be dominated by the rich Hindus.
  16. My mum told me that when she was a teenager and in India the police randomly turned up at her pind and picked 2 young Singhs and they never came back
  17. "subhuman" haha! weren't the police that was murdering Sikh youth back in the 80s and 90s "Sikhs" too
  18. I often wonder what would be the state of Sikhs if partition never happened? Punjab would overwhelmingly be Islamic while to our East and South it would be overwhelmingly Hindu. Sikhs in Muslim countries like Pakistan normally keep their hair and are religious
  19. I don't think there is enough information out there for us to judge him! Iv got a book on Banda Singh Bahadur might read it some time this week. "First Raj of the Sikhs The Life & Times of Banda Singh Bahadur by Harish Dhillon"
  20. Imagine interviewing some psychos like Aurangzeb, Gangu etc and them really opening up. Aurangzeb was a deprived child, his fathers fav son was Dara Sikoh. Sikhs wouldn't of suffered as much if Dara had become emperor. Spending the last month with Guru Gobind Singh ji in nanded Traveling with Guru Nanak devi ji Imagine witnessing Guru Hargobind Ji walk out of gwalior fort with the 52 princes behind him and the welcome they got when reaching Amritsar Or witnessing the construction of Harmandir sahib
  21. Im also shocked with the lack of sexual morality in pinds! everyone has sex with everyone! pinds are like a massive orgy. young people hookup with each other through FB and they have these big networks running through the pind where you can basically ring anyone up and have sex with them! everyone is at it! Even the middle aged lot! many of the aunties go to the shar/city to get some. There are illegitimate kids in pinds too, my own mama has a kid with a married woman in the same pind! married women are sleeping with other men, married men are sleeping with other married women etc They are very disgusting people
  22. I agree with Tejs, as someone who goes Punjab every year, their obsession with leaving Punjab for the West is real. These people are hungry for the west, they refuse to go college or work, and have put everything on a standstill because they want to go abroad. Young people have told be that in the west they will be happy to clean toilets but they are not gnna work in Punjab under any circumstances. They refuse to work because they told me it is baijti and that work is for chamars and other lower castes. They say doing work does not look good in Punjab but its ok in the west. Even jobs like repairing cars, changing tires is considered baijti, your not supposed to paint house either apparently, that to is reserved for lower castes. Women are refusing to milk cows, or broom the area where the cows/buffalo are kept or take roti over to the field for their husbands, they get the bihari workers to do all that for them. Women just make roti and then lie on the manjas with their massive bellies. Peoples obsession with the west is getting so bad that many send their daughters to spend time with NRI visitors, spend time with them, go shopping, go out to eat in the hope that these NRI men will agree to marry them by the end of their trip! Females are obsessed with the west as much as the guys, many are prepared to marry 50 60 year olds or even do sexual favors for NRI men! yup its true. Several of my cousins in India have told me that it would be very easy for me to get girls and have sex because many of the girls will agree to sleep with me with the hope that they will have a chance to go abroad! and im not talking about the poor, dalit girls but your average middle class punjabi girls. Many of them women will have their knickers around their ankles in no time for NRI men. The hunger to go abroad is real! If you go Punjab and just sit with your parents then you don't notice much of this but if you actually go out and about and interact with the young people then you will hear some shocking <banned word filter activated> from them. With this mentality Punjab is far from positive change. The people there are refusing to do anything about it. My family are from Doaba, Nawanshahr, perhaps its different in other parts of Punjab...
